The rare steak phở is the best. Large portion for a reasonable price. Just make sure you have cash if your purchase is less than $ 10.

We only end up here if we’re too lazy to drive to bolsa for the real stuff… Ya would think it would satisfy me but it just leaves me kicking myself in the a$$ and regretting it afterwards. WHYDID I EATTHAT?! 1. It’s expensive for what you get 2. Quality is mediocre, at best 3. I’ve been to places where they water down the hoisin sauce to cut costs but this place basically has water in the bottles with a splash of hoisin. 4. Phở bowls will be 90%noodles 10%meat Just do yourself a favor… stop being lazy and drive 10 – 15 mins to Bolsa to a legit phở place WITHLEGITHOISIN

I’ve eaten here several times because it is one of the closer Phở restaurants to my house. I’ve only ever ordered the #10 Phở(rare steak) and the egg rolls. I’ve always found the food to be satisfactory and I’ve never had any issues with cleanliness as some other posters have stated. It’s a good bowl of Phở and it fulfills my Phở cravings. The egg rolls are good as well; no complaints and no sogginess for me, that another reviewer experienced. I can’t speak to the MSG levels in this restaurant’s Phở because that would be pure speculation. But I am rather sensitive to MSG and haven’t had any problems. Besides, MSG is a common authentic ingredient in Phở — and while its possible to make Phở without it, it’s not common and can be difficult to find. For the particular dishes I’ve tried, I’m satisfied.

We love this place. The food is very fresh and authentic and never disappoints. Whenever we are in the Tustin area, we stop here for the best Phở and egg rolls. Their prices are great for the area and we always enjoy getting takeout from here. My daughters love the array of drinks with bobas and jellies. A must try. ;)

First time coming here and it was ok. Got the well done brisket phở and it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The broth had like a cinnamon tatste! Upon entry they didnt even acknowledge us, just grabbed the menus and took us to a table without saying anything. Very cold welcome. Once we got our food they didn’t come back once to see if we needed anything which we did. It was dirty also, food stains on the wall. With all the other phở restaurants to try this one is not worth a second visit.

Just like other phở places, this one is another great place to go. It’s one of the few restaurants here in Tustin but it’s a great one. I know many of my friends come here and even many first timers come here as well. The broth here is great and especially the rice dishes.

Excellent service fast and friendly. the phở special is perfect. I ordered the small and for a 200 pound man, it was the perfect portion size. The meats were tender and the noodles were cooked perfect. I think what sells this place is the broth. Yummy

Pretty good phở and bbq pork and shrimp. The bbq pork tasted fresh and tender.

The number 12 Phở, rare steak and tenderloin never disappoints. The tenderloin steak is also great. Highly recommend both. Together if your really hungry. ;)

Disgusting place! The cook keeper sneezing and covering his mouth with his hands and handled the food without washing his hands. You can hear them blowing their noses in the kitchen and never once did I see any of them step away to clean their hands. Never coming here again.

GREATSERVICE, TERRIBLEFOOD! SOMEBODYCALLTHEHEALTHDEPARTMENT! Pros: friendly service, clean inside. Cons: the food. I don’t know if it’s because they cater to that certain demographic that surrounds the restaurant or because their cooks should stick to preparing other foods. Flavor is all off and the quality of ingredients is poor. Egg rolls are soggy inside(you can tell they were frozen at least once), meat is tough and jerky like and OLD and gross. It’s like they got the bargain bin meats at the carniceria. Sauces are watered down immensely. Prices are expensive for what you get which is less than mediocre at best. I normally only write reviews when I find it compelling to tell Unilocalers how great a place is, or how crappy it is. And this place does not serve good food. I will have indigestion from the meat tonight. Edit: 30 minutes after eating there and posting my review, I threw up. My stomach just jettisoned the crappy meat.

I am a phở lover! I’ve tried lots of phở in many different cities. However I did not like this restaurant. The service was very bad. They did not check on us at all. My water tasted like tap water fresh out the sink. My phở had so much MSG in it, you could see it. Not the way I like to eat my phở. Also, myself and my friends eyes were burning after 10 minutes of sitting there. I don’t know if it was something in the restaurant… not coming again

This is a place to go to where you want fast, cheap, and good phở. Paid $ 6.50 for a small bowl with brisket and tripe. Noodles were abundant and a bit stiff. Brisket had fat on it that I had to bite off before eating. Tripe was good. Servers were nice, and food came out quickly. You get a discount for using a student ID, and they take VISA if you spend $ 20. Works for me.

This is my childhood. I know it might not be the best phở place for other people but this place just holds so many memories and it started my love for phở. The service is quick and the restaurant is quite clean. The eggrolls are reallly really good and the vermicelli dish is HUGE. The price is cheap and I just love coming here whenever I crave phở. Also lets talk about the ice they use for their drinks. BESTICEEVER. It’s shaved ice so its soft and crunchy and mmmm. They also lit the fire and introduced me to rootbeer from barqs. BESTROOTBEEREVERRRR. Oh i love you

This is a solid Phở place, service is always quick and their home made spicy garlic sauce is an amazing addition to your already super flavorful bowl of soup. Downside? They want $ 10 from you before they will allow you to use your card; they mean it as well. I have been told I need to go next door and pull out cash because my order was only $ 8.94. Other than that, its a great place.

Came here for a spontaneous dinner out with friends. It was average phở but everyone felt a little bloated after dinner. On the way to the bathroom, I noticed the ground was wet which was very dangerous. Service was as attentive as it could be for a Vietnamese/phở restaurant(average). I’ve definitely experienced better so this is the most accurate Unilocal rating I can give it. It was fairly crowded for an early dinner so the restaurant definitely has its fans. Just not sure that I am there quite yet.

This place is pretty legit, surprised that it’s not 4+ stars overall. My friend suggested this place and as usual, I get the phở tai, just like I do at every phở joint. My new trend is also ordering spring rolls and this time was no different. The phở tai included a fair amount of meat proportionate to the noodles. The meat tasted fresh and the noodles were cooked just right. I also liked the amount of onions. The broth was tasty and didn’t leave a salty aftertaste. Also, I wasn’t thirsty an hour later. Therefore, I don’t think any MSG! Yay! Bean sprouts were also fresh and crunchy. Spring rolls were good and packed of ingredients. The peanut sauce wasn’t too salty either with crushed peanuts/strands of carrots. Service wasn’t too bad. There were plenty of staff members walking around. I was even able to flag one down to get more limes! Prices were fair averaging about $ 7 a bowl. I’m willing to come back again when I’m in the area, but not sure if I’d drive down to OC just for their phở.

NOTE: The $ 3.99 /$ 4.99 Phở deal is NO longer active. My boyfriend literally lives around the corner; he loves the thai tea and has tried the food here and enjoyed it. But I’m part/mainly Viet! So I always judge these places… Food: –Thai tea — for $ 3 something this is very good and worth it.(5⁄5) –Egg rolls — although on the smaller/thinner side, this was still very tasty and came with garnishes like lettuce, cilantro, and mint leaves.(4⁄5) –Fried chicken with egg noodles(E5) — ok, I hate bean sprouts lol, I didn’t think they’d have so many of them! But it’s ok, easy to just remove from my dish. I thought 1) the soup was the phở broth, which isn’t supposed to be, its supposed to be more simple garlic ish soup, 2) the chicken was interesting, I think it could’ve been tastier and done more simply(some parts tastier than others), 3) but this plate was very large! and I actually took half home for left overs.(3⁄5) –Seafood phở — did not try this so I have no opinion Ambiance: Very casual dining, with average Asian décor. Nothing wrong with that at all! Price: Most dishes were under $ 10! With the large seafood phở at $ 7.95! Awesome! $ 10 card minimum.

Delicious phở at a good price. I like how their phở broth isn’t overwhelmingly salty and the noodles aren’t too hard or too soft. Rather, they’re cooked to perfection. Service could be better, but all in all, this place is perfect when I’m craving phở and don’t feel like making the trek to Westminster. I ordered the vegetable phở with chicken because I just wasn’t feeling the rare steak and tripe(the latter is what I usually order). My foodie companion ordered the rare steak along with a combination house special platter with green leaf wrapper(egg rolls, fried shrimp party wrapped in tofu skin and charbroiled pork). There is ample parking as it’s located in a shopping plaza, next to a liquor store.
