First time there it was mediocre. Second time there, less than mediocre and in fact a little over cooked. There will not be a 3rd time. Last but not least, the girl behind the counter needs a lesson on common courtesies and how to talk to customers. They only nice thing there is the manager shows that he is trying to improve the place and make it better.

ugh… this place is a disgrace if it’s associated with the Bahar in Mission viejo. tried this place out on sunday night and got there around 3: pm. ordered the boneless chicken kabob and the beef shish kabob. found out after paying that they didnt have any more filet mignon. dude, this place is inside like a middle eastern target/ralphs fresh fare and you are out of filet mignon? whatever so i ordered 2 ordered of the boneless chicken kabob. waited like 20 minutes for the order to be ready. it was nice they did it family style so i got like 2 trays, 1 tray of kabobs and 1 tray of rice. but the chicken was so dry. probably the driest chicken ive had that i can remember. felt like i got the end of the week all that was left chicken or something. also the bread they provided was hard and almost stale. this place is nasty. its about $ 3 cheaper than the mission viejo Bahar, so it was like $ 11 for the boneless chicken kabob and $ 14 for the beef shish kabob. anyway better off going to naan & kabob in tustin than this location. also the restaurant is located in the very back far corner from where you enter from. can i dispute this purchase with my credit card company?

I like the koobideh here, I like the rice, I like the chicken, I like the food. It’s a bit pricey, so try to go during lunch time. You have to ask for butter and onions, it’s behind the counter. Oh and it takes a while to prep. the guy actually cooks your food after you order, so it’s fresh out of the grill, since it’s located inside Ansar Gallery, so walk around and come back. Or go get the Sanka bread to go with the food.

Inside the back of Aria Market. Best koobideh for 10 miles. Kind of a weird hole in the wall. You would never know the kabobs are awesome. $ 5 bucks for beef koobideh and giant plate of basmati rice
