Carter’s Babies & Kids

I really enjoy this company and their chain of stores. Most of the employees seem to be treated well and act like they really love their job. I always get asked if I need any help and they always help me find what I am looking for. Even though this is a newer location, it seems a little cramped and cluttered in here. But then again I did come on a holiday where they had a great sale!

When I became a Mom, everyone told me to not buy too many clothes. Hard to do wen you’ve spent a lifetime working in retail. I used to buy for Girls 7 – 16 for a big dept store and so naturally having a little girl made me excited to finally be able to dress one.
Carter’s is a very popular brand in clothing and mass distributed. This means you’ll find them in their own stores (like this one) to other retailers (Costco, Target, Kohls, etc).
I don’t hate on them for that as they seem to have quality clothes despite having their brand out there in every outlet possible.
The issue I have is their website doesn’t offer free shipping (You cannot survive in this world without offering free shipping). And then this ‘store’ is so small!
The first time I came here I was frustrated having to put the stroller on top of the sidewalk then returning to grab the carseat (and baby) since I didn’t see a ramp nearby. You’d think a baby store would have one right out front. The second time I came I found the ramp but it wasn’t near their door at all but like 2 doors down (big doors).
They were having a 40% off storewide with another 20% off coupon which made it seem like a no brainer to go shop. So I did. And they were running a spend $ 50 get $ 10 coupon like most retailers do. The stuff does get repetitive after a while but I got some bigger pj’s for our growing tall baby.
Today I had to return one of the outfits and the sales girl would NOT stop trying to upsell me. It was obnoxious. She kept trying to get me to get this coral polka dot dress despite me saying I am needing it for a wedding and that the dress wasn’t formal enough. The issue with small locations of stores is they have nothing to do and you can’t hide anywhere.
Not bad on the clothes themselves but the staff and location kind of leave you wanting.

Great rewards program and great sale and prices for baby/​toddler clothing. They don’t have size ranges like GAP but rather just 3 months, 6 months, etc… If you need help, all of the workers were extremely helpful in picking sizes for my cousin’s baby girl. They have a great selection and the sale was AMAZING. The colors and patterns can be repetitive when buying it in packs but they have a wide variety of styles.
For the holiday, for every $ 50 you spend, you get a $ 10 reward that you can only sped the next day. Definitely went back the next day and used that reward! Highly recommend if your looking to buy baby clothes.
