Really really cute place but the chicken dish I had was not memorable in anyway. Great service as well but I most likely won’t be going back.

Im not sure how Bajio Mexican Grill has such great reviews. It is the hardest resturant to get to on earth. I turned around about three times to make it into the parking lot. I ordered a burrito and a quesadilla. While I was there several customers asked where they started and what was on the menu because the menu is not anywhere near the counter and you can easily walk past it to get to the counter. The process is very slow putting the burrito together and I could have folded the burrito with one hand better then the guy folded mine. The flavor of the food was good but my burrito had fallen apart by the time I got to work and they put it in a tin and locked the steam in so my tortilla was soggy. They do have good salsa! I wont be coming back.

This is an ok place. It reminded me of Baja Fresh. The food was tasty but wish they had more options. The staff was very friendly and it has enough parking and just off the freeway.

$ 6 for chips, bad guac and a small drink they call medium? Not going back.

Two stars because the place is clean. 1 star for substandard food. How can you ruin Mexican food? Overcook the rice in too much water. Cut the beans with too much water. Cook the meat in too much water. The guacamole was gray. The cheese was dried out. Oh, wait, the pico de gallo was watery. I’d rather take my chances at Taco Bell or Taco Del Mar.

I love the mexican pizza here. It’s not flat like Italian fare. It has many layers piled up on it. It’s enough for leftovers or for two people to share. The sauces they use on top are glorious. We’ve been back a handful of times even though, it’s a bit of a drive from the house, because it’s so good. Ambiance is nice, but it’s a bit dark. Great if you have a headache, I guess. :)

I give this place five stars because its one of those places that I will drive 30 miles out of my way to go to. I am in love with the smoked beef tacos. I love the tortillas from the grill, the pico de gallo, the fresh cut cilantro. I love the fresh salsa and chips. I love that they let me take tapatio hot sauce in a little cup… I love that it feels like fast food… but not really. Oh and Senior Scott is one of the most friendliest guys to work a taco place…

Love anything chicken green chile here. Just had the Mexican pizza and it was amazing. Good quality, low price, fast-made to order food.

The people working here were doing their best but the food was just not up to task. The black beans were almost lacking in flavor, which should not happen with black beans. Though the tacos had some firey bite they were also lacking in flavor. Give me some cumin, some garlic, some onion. Got nothing of that here.

No. No. No. This place puts way too much sugar in their food. I got the shrimp tacos. I was so excited for the shrimp tacos! The mango salsa that comes with the shrimp tacos tastes like its made with molasses! Its way too sweet! I felt like I was eating a dessert. No thank you. A friend of mine got the sweet rice and it was also super sweet. I asked if it was really sweet and it was described as «not that sweet». Maybe she was comparing it to a spoon full of sugar because it was really sweet. No bueno. This place would be one star, but the decorations were great! Its really a great looking restaurant, but the food is not worth it. I spent 12 bucks on lunch and I didn’t enjoy it, at all. No.

It’s a go between fast food and a traditional restaurant. Not like Chipotle, because they are more about the burritos. Not like Taco Del Mar, because they are more about the tacos. Not like Taqueria El Rinconsito, because they are more Mexican… Bajio is traditional American Mexican meals, compacted and made to order from the person behind the counter. The setting is pretty nice for a semi-fast food restaurant. Take out lunch(2 tacos + rice n beans) about $ 10, not a great deal, but the quality met my expectations. Overall A-OK.

Well, where do I start? dry refried beans, horrible sour cream. Not impressed with the service or the quesidilla platter. To top it all off the give you plastic silverware. To sum it up. This place is not worth the money that sits in the bottom of their fake fountain.

I would have given this place 4 stars if it were not for the very rude service I got in my 3rd visit in 3 days. Prior two visits had great service and loved the food. On the third visit, they were understaffed and a large group came in behind me. They just rushed me through and did not even listen to me when preparing the order. Just slopped the stuff together and asked for the money. The cashier was also not trained and took out her aggravation on me. Food is pretty good for a chain. But I will not go here again with so many other options near by.

The only way to access Bajio is by driving westbound on Grady Way and turning onto Fun Center Way. You can’t access Bajio from any of the other adjacent streets, or from Grady going east. I had no idea what to expect before I entered at lunch time yesterday. But upon entry it only took a nanosecond to realize that Bajio is a chain, a la Qdoba. In a nutshell, you pick what you want from the menu and tell the person behind the counter what your choices are, and he begins to make them, adding whatever ingredient you want from the little bins behind the counter. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with huge decorative lights and copper pots hanging in a row above the counter. There’s even a tile waterfall. However, there is a significant drawback to the restaurant design — and that is that the menu is off in the corner by the front door and hidden behind a wall and no longer visible for reference once you are moving down the line. A note about the menu itself — it’s curiously Americanized. For example, not knowing what a «cheese crisp» was, I was curious and ordered one. You wanna know what a cheese crisp is? It’s just a quesadilla(but a very good quesadilla). I also ordered a couple beef enchiladas. The beef was excellent, quite nicely seasoned with a hint of sweetness. Perhaps Bajio would consider adding horchata and hibiscus tea to their beverage selection? I thought prices were reasonable.

Mmm… Bajio. My kids only make dinning out requests for McDonald’s, Subway, or Bajio. That’s not saying they are on the level of a fast food chain, they are just so good that my picky kids actually want to eat there. The location is a bit out of the way, but the inconvenience is worth it. Excellent restaurant for a more authentic Mexican food experience. Sweet pork and sweet rice are both awesome! Portions are huge and the price is just right.

Hands down the best mexican food I’ve ever eaten in my life. We tried this place on a whim, thank goodness we did! You watch as they prepare your food and ask you every step of the way what you want, a lot like Chipotle except the menu variety is much greater. I got the mexican pizza with sweet pork. The absolutely perfect mix of meaty, crunchy, spicy, and sweet. My wife got the chimichanga with lime chicken and loved it as well. Grand total for both our meals including drinks was $ 20 so it’s very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We both walked out of there absolutely stuffed and my wife wasn’t quite able to finish hers. It’s so good. Just talking about it I want to go back there now! The location is pretty terrible with a big transformer in the parking lot right in front of it, but the inside was very nice. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside and the tables are nicely spaced so you’re not bumping elbows with your neighbor. We ate on a Wednesday evening and there were only a few other people in the restaurant. Definitely give this place a try!

Bajio is like the cooler big brother to Qdoba. Alot better thoughtful design and detail, neat foundation, etc. I had a 2 FIsh Taco Platter to-go. Really good and had no post-BM’s. See the pic, too.

Hurray, we now have a Bajios in Seattle. I have been a big fan of Bajio since I first ate there in Spanish Fork, UT. I know that is out in the boon docks but the food is awesome. They have a variety of meats to use in their enchiladas, tacos, chimichunga, quesadillas, and salads. My favorite is the sweet pork. It makes killer enchiladas along with their green sauce(verde). It is worth the drive to eat here. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. Viva Bajio!
