Very poor atmosphere. Desired to sit down, no direction. Once we did sit they made a fuss over a party of 20 will be sitting and we had to move. I suggested to split the table but no doing. He insisted that we move to an undersized table. We left. All the others in the restaurant did not look happy about their evening. So no loss. The staff was not friendly to «strangers»

Excellent food and service. Have loved everything I’ve tried. Ask your server for suggestions, they have never steered me wrong yet. Salsa is so good I asked if I could buy some to take home.

They knocked it out of the park! We ordered the tacos birria style(shredded beef stewed in beer) and the Barbacoa(bbq) taco salad for a late lunch Monday afternoon after running errands. The tacos birria are delicious! The flavor of beer and of the spices used in the beef is amazing! The taco salad — it was the best taco salad I’ve ever had in my life. The beans, beef, cheese, guacamole, lettuce and tomatoes were mixed and seasoned so well — a super delicious flavor cruise. We’re so glad we stopped in at Nanas to have lunch. We will be back soon and often.

I was out running Saturday morning errands and saw this restaurant near Ace Hardware. It was almost empty except for one other couple. The food was amazing and the service was great. I’ll be back Nana!

They have amazing beans here! I love the burritos, prices are just right, Margaritas are good and strong. Salsa is just OK to me, and the Enchiladas and Taquitos need improvement. Slow Service and they messed up my daughters quesadilla, but waitress got it fixed right away once we were able to flag her down 10 minutes after receiving our food.

Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. Clean restaurant, quick/friendly service, good food & good prices. Enjoyed the 2 kinds of salsa we received with our chips. Took my leftovers to work & was asked constantly where I got my chimichanga from & that it looked delicious. It tasted even better than it looks! Already looking forward to our next visit.

Tried this place a year ago and was not impressed. Decided to give this place one more go and I was extremely disappointed. Chicken chimi enchilada style was horrible! I was actually given a soggy, oily, burrito smothered in an enchilada sauce that tasted as if sitting in plastic container for days! I paid $ 13.67 for this plate of disappointment! To top it off… WAYTOOVERPRICED! I was almost charged for the chips and salsa too! O… M… G! Unbelievable!!!

The waiter was so nice! He suggested many plates, and his greatest suggestion was his famous Mango Micheladas!!! It was the greatest Micheladas ever! I’m a Michelada freak lol and have had many Micheladas at plenty of different bars/restaurants. I had the Tamale combo and it was really good! Very authentic!!! Can’t wait to go back!

We always go to Nana’s for the true tastes of Mexico. We always start with their wonderful chips and salsa. make sure you get plenty of guacamole. There are so many choices on the menu but I always seem to end up with the flautas which are delicious. The cheese is very high quality. I like to end my work week with a nice stiff margarita, which is perfectly crafted by the bartender. This family knows Mexican food, and they know it well. We lived there for 10 years and we recently took a trip back home. Service is second to none…

Love visiting this place when we’re in Tucson. The food, drinks, and staff have all been great! I wish we could buy the sangria to take home… but have to drink it there instead. Still great! Will return.

I’m sorry, I wanted to like this because the people were soooo nice… But it just wasn’t good. The guacamole tasted like it came from a can. Great service though.

Friendly service, amazing food for a good price, and the coffee is good. I had the huevos con chorizo it was not greasy and was so good.

The service was spot on and the food was pretty good too! We will come back and try something else off of their menu. If your in the area, you should come check them out. ROCKON! \m/

Not worth the trip. Service was not good at all and food was marginal at best. Very loud. Notwithstanding getting here an hour before closing, at 9 pm they started shutting off lights and handing out checks. No opportunity for desert. Seems this is a place for the owners to give the bar away to friends and family without much regard for actual customers. Highly don’t recommend.

Awesome. Great breakfast and friendly service. Delicious salsa. Homemade tortillas. We will likely be back for lunch… today. For this area of town it’s simply the best restaurant around for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It will be part of our regular routine every Sunday before church now. Perfect.

Came in for breakfast this morning, but they were out of eggs, so we were going to go elsewhere, but I was so hungry and uncaffeinated that I needed something and there were waits at everywhere else in the vicinity. So I ended up ordering a coffee and the sopapillas and my mom ordered their mexican shrimp cocktail. The coffee was surprisingly good and strong and the sopapillas were absolutely fantastic! The dough was perfect(crispy on the outside and soft and airy in the middle) with a generous amount of powdered sugar and honey! There were six to an order and I could only finish four(trust that the other two came home with me). They were literally«finger-licking good» and my mom scolded me for licking my fingers in public, but I told her to wipe my hands on the napkin would have been a waste of sopapilla! She was in love with her shrimp cocktail and said it was so filling and flavorful, so there you go and she is a woman who loves her shrimp cocktails! The staff is so sweet here and I liked the décor, especially the painted mural. I will definitley be back during my out of town visit to Tucson to sample their lunch fare as they seem like a truly authentic mexican restaurant!

Lots of hard surfaces and minimal décor… so go expecting a lot of noise. Table next to us was filled with family(the owner’s family) and they were exceptionally loud and close to drunk. Food was decent — not exceptional but decent. Beans and rice and salsa were all good, and that’s one way to judge good Mexican food. Portions were large. Tea was old but once I mentioned it she took it away and said we wouldn’t be charged. Not a very pleasant meal. Food was good but the noise level ruined everything. Service can only be described as fair.

It’s the only Mexican food spot in Marana worth trying! With Tucson around the corner, it’s hard to find a reason to eat in Marana. I have to admit the food is pretty authentic. I loved the salsa!!! I got full off the chips alone. Portion sizes are decent and prices are good. I’m a picky Mexican food eater so 4 stars is a HUGE deal to me ;) I would advise u all to see for yourself. Happy salsing!
