Although small, this store offers a nice selection of food and beauty products along with some clothing, jewelry, and several ritualistic items. Occasionally, it has some AMAZING home made oatmeal cookies hiding in the snack display as well. The cookies are mandatory; you’ll see why. I believe every item in the store is either vegetarian or vegan, including the beauty products.
I come here mainly for the beauty products and sometimes for fresh vegetables, spices, and lentils. I especially like that they carry henna for hair in a wide range of colors, and I enjoy exploring all the Ayurvedic products. I don’t know the medical significance of them, but they all smell really good! The owners are always very courteous, and one even asked if I’m a student. I told him that I am, and he then informed me that he does a 10% student discount. Very thoughtful!
