This store is awesome! Matthew Duffey freakin rocks! He has been my smart phone go to guy for over a year now… always super helpful, friendly and professional. Most phone stores suck and you wait forever but these guys can get it done!

My phone broke over the Christmas holiday of 2014. It was an old dinosaur. I was a unsure, reluctant and a little apprehensive about getting an upgrade since I am use to simple and easy to use phones. However, Matt Duffy put all of my apprehensions at ease. Matt was incredible and walked me thru the whole process, taking his time until I fully understood my phone. He recommended an excellent upgrade that was easy to learn and use. He was beyond helpful and answered all of my questions with very easy to understand answers. Matt, thank you again for being so helpful!

So. I had to return to the Verizon Store because half of my photos disappeared when I dropped my phone. I was really worried when my favorite David Tobias wasn’t there. Treasured photos of my grandchildren were gone. OMGosh, I was really worried. After the first sales person really could not find them and I was beyond panic, Matt Duffy started to work on it. It was not easy but eventually they were there, even the videos. It took hours to load them back into my gallery but he did everything for me. … You know these guys are really understanding when a real ‘ditz’ needs help. Now I know 2 men at that store that seem to be genius’ … Thank you Matt. I will be securing my treasured photos, promise…

Terrible customer service. Waited in line for an hour for 3 employees to service 3 customers in front of me. They claimed that the system was working more slowly than usual, and none of them bothered to maybe check in, and/or troubleshoot with the other customers that were waiting. My phone screen went out(non working) and i wanted to see if it can be fixed it or phone replaced. After an hour wait the employee told me that they can’t do anything with it and that i need to go to the service center… they could have told me that an hour ago!

Matt and Aaron were great! They answered our every questions, making this big technological shift relatively painless. I was pretty intimidated by the whole process of switching plans and going from a super basic phone to the most complex one, but they very willingly walked us patiently through every step. I read the reviews on this store, but went anyway because my phone was toast and I was desperate to get it fixed stat! As luck would have it, there is a new store manager, Aaron O, that has been running the shop as of two months ago. According to him, he is NOT the same Aaron as before. Needless to say, the new manager was able to use his knowledge to help me take advantage of an alternate upgrade on my phone and saved the day for me. Also while he was helping me, he quickly solved a problem for another customer and that guy was stoked, too! Anyway, I am very happy that Aaron is in charge now, so that I don’t have to schlep to Reno. I definitely recommend the store after my own experience there.

One of the worst experiences in customer service i have had in years! and I pity you if a «gentleman» named Aaron helps you. He was surly and beyond… if even possible… GOTORENO, TAKETHETIME, DONOTGOHERE !!! THEYSELLSHADYPRODUCTWITH A BADATTITUDE. I WILLNOTBEGOINGBACK! What a bunch of dbags. Stood in line for 25 minutes only to have them refuse to provide warranty support and refer me to the Verizon support number. Don’t waste your time. Must be a franchise. These idiots deserve to go out of business. FYI, the Verizon support phone is(800) 922‑0204. Verizon provided warranty support when I called in.

worst store ever!!! two people behind the counter chicken pecking on the computer. finally i get to the counter the clerk behind the counter gives me this blank stare not hello, how are you, how can i help you, be with you in a moment just a blank stare so i told her what was going on and the phone i wanted didn’t have it or didn’t want to get get it didn’t have my third or fourth choice they have the iphone that’s about it.

Apple lightning USB charger is $ 19. at Apple and Verizon stores. This distributor store charges $ 35.

I called the store in the morning and asked if they had any iPhone 5 chargers in stock– the guy responded that yes, they still had a few at the store. I got to the store no more than an hour and a half later, and asked to buy the charger!(Please note that I wasn’t greeted as I walked in– the three people behind the counter just stared at me blankly like they’d never seen a customer before) But wait! They are suddenly out of stock! This is Truckee, and I’m pretty certain multiple people didn’t go into that tiny Verizon store within 1.5 hours to buy a iPhone 5USB cord, even though it is holiday season. I didn’t even get an apology, just«We just ran out.» I didn’t bother arguing as it would have gotten me nowhere but more pissed off. I’d rather drive to Reno. P. S. If a manager ever reads this, it’s 12/29/2012, I spoke to a guy on the phone, when I went in at around 12:30pm there were two girls and guy behind the counter(twiddling their thumbs)

Went in to Purchase a cell phone — found one they could not give to me until Tuesday not in inventory. Took my name, cell, home phone. Came back on Tuesday they sold it to someone else. Even gave me the name of the manager who would help me Paul Derek or Kinsey. Told me I would have to order one it would take 5 days. On the same day when I went in to purchase the phone another customer wanted a phone number put on a phone. The clerk told him it would cost $ 35.00 then the guy told her you told my wife no charge. This shop is not owed by Verizon — its a private business. That guy walked out. Be very careful clerks not trained well like the the regular Verizon Store.
