Place is a mess but the food is good. Came in an hour before the store was closing last week and felt like we were being rushed out, specifically by one girl who seemed to be the one closing the store, might have been an assistant manager or something. Young girl with a super bad attitude, when she gave us a pet of our meal(not the waitress) she basically threw it on the table. Won’t be back if she’s there.

Easy ordering, food came out quick and easy. I got the spicy tuna sushi roll and Thai lettuce chicken wrap. I recommend not getting the sushi here because it was not rolled fresh, the rice was hard as well. I should of known better but the lettuce wraps where amazing! 3 out of 5 stars here!

I find it pointless to review chain restaurants. It’s the same stuff at whichever location you choose to visit. After all it’s all too often mediocre corporate food that may taste good but is designed to maximize profits and reduce costs. Probably not the healthiest choice for you as far as ‘clean’ food is concerned but every once in a while when you get the craving probably won’t hurt. With that said, I personally tend to only give reviews at chain restaurants when I have had a poor experience. I really like the Caramel Chicken dish. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. What I don’t like is the portion size as of recently. I feel cheated in regards to the lack of chicken in comparison to what I have received in the past. Even when I paid an additional surcharge for extra meat I still received less than I used to. Between the high price and the miniature sized portions I am less motivated to go here.

Blech. That’s how I felt about it. The sauces are weirdly acrid tasting. Portion sizes are way too small for the price. Not going back. Might as well have had a Chinese TV dinner.

Good if you like watery sauce, cold noodles and raw vegetables. Nothing like chomping into a raw onion. I would have told a manager if anybody was around to tell. I might be done with pei Wei after this experience.

I pretty much order orange peel shrimp every time and it always taste the same… Awesome. I have not dined in at pei wei, always carry out. It is usually during rush hour as well without calling ahead and im always out the door pretty quickly.

The food used to be very good there. The egg rolls were so greasy that when I poked it with my fork the grease didn’t just ooze out it poured out, so I sent it back and got new ones but the results were the same. I think they reheated some old ones by putting them back in the grease. I ordered the Mongolian beef and it too was old. They reheated the old dried up beef and tried to cover it with sauce. I showed the girl serving the food a piece that wad dry and crunchy. Not over cooked crunchy I mean old and dry kinda crunchy. I guess the economy is hitting them so hard that they have to serve old food rather than throwing it out. I’m writing this review hoping they read it and fix the problems.

I did not realize that Pei Wei now offers lettuce wraps in place of the rice or noodles, making this a delicious diet experience. And they gave us a good half of a head of crispy iceberg so you had more than enough. very impressed. We are vegan and ordered the tofu both sweet-n-sour and Thai dynamite. Hopefully those were vegan options. The young girl at the register said they were, but she also said the honey was as well.(think she was confused between vegetarian and vegan) and we had enough to take home for lunch today.

Frustratingly hit or miss. It seems on the days when management is behind the counter, the food comes out much better than it does on other days. They’ve changed the menu a few times in the past couple years, which depending on your viewpoint is either frustrating or great. It would be nice if they got it together with cooking the vegetables. Sometimes when I order a dish the vegetables come out damn near raw. They do a good job of busing the tables, and the seating areas are generally pleasant. But the music is almost always too loud to have a pleasant conversation. I’ll keep coming back because I like the food so much, but I do hope they make some improvements.

Ok, this is a good one and I’ve been waiting for the time to write this review. Friday night, 830PM I walk in and was asked for my order. But it was caveated with«are you sure you want to wait for this because we are really busy». I said sure, Ill wait. I left the building, went home to do a couple of things and went back about 25 minutes later. No food. I had ordered Mongolian steak with white rice. While I was standing there waiting this female cook leaned out from the cooking area calling the guy at the cash register who was clearly busy. She called like 3 times. On the 4th time, she started banging her fists on the stainless steel counter and screaming his name like a psychopath LOL. Im not kidding, it was nuts. I yelled to her«hey, hey! you have customers in here» If that’s not enough every employee I seen was complaining about how many people there were still in the place. WTF??? Really? I thought that was a good thing. I guess not here. So I asked one of the guys where my food was. They didn’t even start it yet. ugh. So he says Ill get right on it. 15 min later and its now been over an hour he comes out with the food. Mongolian steak with brown, not white rice. What the frik kinda place is this? Unbelievable its still open. So that my dear friends is my review.

Be careful, one booth on the north wall was very unstable. Don’t understand the delivery method of the food, as I had a(cold) salad and it was the last item to arrive. Still trying to figure out the loyalty program.

I was walking down the street from my office looking for something good. I was gonna go to Panera Bread but want Thai and saw this place I thought I should check out the menu. The atmosphere inside is great! It look similar to P.F. Chang, not crowded together, I saw the freestyle Coke machine and got really happy. they have a huge menu board right next to the cashier that was clear and had take away menu that were a little detail. If you like Asian food and get it fast this is the place to go! its basically to me the Asian version of Noodles and Company or similar to Panera bread. No matter if you do not eat certain things or have allergy, they have you covered. They have this spicy pei wei sauce that is a asian or spcy lover’s dream. The staff are friendly and give great customer service! The food is hot to you and taste amazing! I totally recommend!

This place used to be amazing but my last visit the food was very soggy and the kitchen was as if it was made out of a frozen box! Probably about half a cup of rice used and the rest of the bowl was sesame sauce soup. Won’t come back for a while.

Always yum. Quick and great, love the options. Only complaint is portion size on the takeout is small for the price.

It was OK. I haven’t been to a Pei Wei since I lived in Orange County about 8 years ago and they’ve made it more of a fast food type place. That’s ok — it’s portion size of meat to rice that irked me. I was hungry about an hour later. I wish they would just include veggies in the stir fry vs having to pay extra to add them. I realized my mistake after ordering my food.

Food was decent. I tried the chicken lo mein, chicken lettuce wrap, and crab ragoon. The chicken lettuce wrap was definitely my favorite. The chicken lo mein lacked flavor and was a bit greasy for my liking.

How have I not reviewed this place? Lets see… its very busy at lunch during the week, but so is everything in the area. That being said, in my 10+ visits I’ve always had good service. Food is always yummy with an extra WAPOW of heat because me likey spicy. Dining area is jept ver clean which is awesome with the customer turnaround. The crab wontons are so good. Even if you think you don’t like crab, lie to yourself, and pretend its chicken. They are really good. Then I usually get some sort of small spicy chicken or beef. Add the hot sauce they have in the self serve area and we’re in business. They have the pop machine that lets you select your own concocted fizzy drink too, so get a to-go cup even if you dine in so you can take a new flavor home.

I personally never cared for this place-especially with it be affiliated with the untouchable PF Changs. The one issue I seem to have most often with this place is the consistency of the Pad Thai. The flavors always seem to vary which is absurd because it’s a chain, right? Just heat the sauce, cook the noodles and combine right? Wrong. It’s always inconsistent and actually pretty annoying when you have a craving for something. Luckily there’s a bunch of delish Thai places around here to get my fix. Only reason I gave it three stars is because: it’s always clean, friendly staff, quick service and I like their crab wontons

I have never had a problem with the food here, it has always been good. Usually they are pretty quick even during a heavy lunch rush to get your order to you, but the last few times they have been slow. Today took the cake though as I was left sitting for 20 minutes after the other two people in my party had been served before my food came. I ended up packing up more than half of my lunch and taking it back to the office with me. I should also add that everything was on one check too and I could understand that if we were all separate that this type of problem could happen, but that’s not the case. I sat there watching as others who ordered after me were served well before I was. When the lady finally brought my food out to me I said«About time!» in a sarcastic yet still concerned tone and she didn’t say a word or even acknowledge me. I will still continue to order from there, but I will have to rethink about eating in and just get a takeout order instead next time.
