We love coming here to this location often! I wish I can say I’ve once had a bad experience, but that’s never the case! It’s always been a great experience! The food, waiters/waitresses have always been prompt! Have never screwed up our orders, EVER! I love the Spicy Eggplant dish with a side of brown rice! Their lettuce wraps are AMAZING! This is our go to place when we are craving good food and service! Definitely 5STARS!

Our server was Jackie and we had a party of 10 people. A few people did the dinner for two which is a flat charge plus dessert and an app. Not only did we get charged for the dinner for two but we were also charged for each entrée individually. They said that they roll two cheap entrees into the main price and then up charge you if you if you happen to pick two entrees that are special orders(GF or vegetarian). On top of that when you order a bottled beer they charge you for a 12 oz bottle but only pour about 8 oz in the glass and walk away with the rest in the bottle… Will not be returning… Please be warned.

Our recent visit to P.F. Changs was not a pleasant experience! After we were greeted by our first server, 5 minutes later she told us a different server would be serving us. We ordered our usual appetizer of chicken lettuce wraps. We had to send them back because they had a burnt flavor! When we finally received our main courses,(with the dining room half empty) the shrimp pad thai had no flavor. The great chocolate cake for dessert was very lacking in the usual raspberry sauce accompaniment. No one ever bothered to re-fill our water glasses! When the server asked me if I would like a 2nd cup of coffee, it was never brought to me! For the restaurant being over half empty, the server seemed very slow and disorganized. We were so disappointed with our meal at P.F. Changs. Unfortunately, we will not be returning for a very long time!

The happy hour deals are amazing. Get the Pan fried shrimp dumplings. The lettuce wraps are a must. Sit at the bar. Enjoy!

This place is always busy. The food is really good but they need more healthy options. The Chang’s spicy chicken is my favorite dish here. It never gets old. The Mongolian beef is also really good and flavorful. P.F. Chang’s has been around for so long and I feel like I will never get sick of it(I just try to avoid the lettuce wraps and soups because they have so much sodium). The service and drink are also great.

Was here recently with my family for some Americanized asian cuisine, it was my 2nd time eating in and I was not impressed to say the least. It took 15 minutes for our server to notice we hadn’t been asked about our drinks yet. About 10 minutes before she finally got to us a bus boy came and gave us water. She then proceeded to take our drink order, asked for my ID(I ordered a beer) and told me I was not old enough. I’m 25 yrs old mind you. So I already was off to a rough evening. I told her she was wrong and to check her eyesight because I was over the legal age to drink. She copped an attitude with me, then finally realized she was wrong, didn’t apologize, just left and got me my beer. Cheers… We decided we all wanted lettuce wraps, it took about 20 mins to get our food. It was like warm, the chicken was dry-ish, my beer had not been refilled one time for the entirety of the dinner, my wife’s drink was never filled either… I paid… STILLTIPPED20% and she didn’t even say a word to us as we were leaving. I’ll never be back here. P. s. I wouldn’t valet either. The man smelled like marijuana and stole 2 of my cigarettes.(4 star valet)

This is my first time eating at this location and i loved how the place feels like its not even a part of the mall at all, the staff are very welcoming we were served by Kyle, he took the time to explain some dishes we were interested in and was very patient, the food was phenomenal i’m def coming back again !

Terrible, reservation only dining when there are open tables throughout the restaurant. The aloof attitude of the hostess station administering spots as if it was Spago. Good riddance. You’ll never see another dime of my money.

My girlfriend had a $ 50 gift card, so we went here for dinner last night. I’ve had Chang’s frozen meals, and enjoyed them until I noticed some«sponge chicken» in some of them. I’m coming into an actual location not expecting a whole lot. Upon walking in, I’m confused. It’s a really nice looking place — definitely on the fancy side. There were also a lot of people dressed up a bit, the lights were low, and each table had a candle — but the restaurant itself was pretty loud. They even had some indie-rock playing which I didn’t mind at all(I like the genre), but I was totally dumbfounded… who exactly is P.F. Chang’s catering to? It seems all over the place. The food pricing is also not exactly up-scale priced/it doesn’t match the theme. It’s on the expensive side for Asian food(compared to its«real» restaurant counterparts), but not insane by any means. My girlfriend and I got the Meal for Two which is $ 42.95 or something like that. We got a cup of egg drop and hot and sour, firecracker(?) shrimp for an appetizer, honey chicken, pad thai with shrimp and chicken, and then the banana egg roll for dessert. The hot and sour soup was pretty poor. Way over-salted and had, for some reason, pieces of beef in it? That’s something I didn’t see coming/haven’t experienced before. The saltiness is what really put me off though… this is coming from a guy who thoroughly enjoys Maruchan chicken-flavored ramen. The firecracker shrimp was great. The shrimp were maybe slightly overcooked but the sauce was awesome. Probably the best part of the meal. The pad thai is what I expected — save the frizzy onions(or shallots). That was bizarre to see on it. It was a relatively bland plate of food that relied, like seemingly everything here, too heavily on salt. It was a very Americanized version of pad thai. Decent, but nothing memorable. The banana egg roll itself wasn’t the best thing in the world(it was literally just a banana inside of an egg roll shell with nothing else), the coconut pineapple ice cream was delicious, even with the bits of coconut in it – and I really don’t like the texture of coconut. Nice way to finish a meal. P.F. Chang’s is just. whatever. I wouldn’t turn a dinner down here, but I’d likely not ever CHOOSE to come here, and it’s not just because the place is confused about its identity… I evidently have to drink five full 16oz glasses of water during a meal here to be relieved from all of the sodium. I wouldn’t recommend or not recommend P.F. Chang’s… just make sure you understand what you’re getting into.

Josh and Ross are far and away the best bartenders/hosts whenever I visit the area. As crazed as Somerset can get(especially during holidays) — these two have a way of making every SINGLE customer feel relaxed and important — simultaneously! They are NEVER frazzled, overwhelmed, moody. I have NO idea how they manage to make it appear so seamless(especially when I’ve overheard the demands of some of the more«high maintenance» wait staff and/or patrons)… True professionals, they make you feel like your day just got better the minute you’re seated at their bar. Both are sure your needs are met before you yourself even realize you needed something.(Josh should work in a NYC craft bar … Elevating even the limited PF Changs’ drink menu to an Art Form and Ross should seriously consider stand up comedy!) Although PF Changs is not atypical of a chain/franchise restaurant(i.e. a fair/average dining or lounge experience), it is Josh and Ross that make every visit outstanding, unique, and memorable. I’m personally of the opinion that they are overqualified/over talented to work here, but I certainly don’t mind spending less than I otherwise would while also consistently having better service and overall experience than I ever have at Captial Grille, J Alexander(groan), Mortons, Ruth Chris, or any place in Birmingham.

Waited a reasonable time for a table. Server was very friendly and took really good care of us. We ordered the crab wontons as they had to much meat inside. Used to be our favorite. We also ordered the salt and pepper calamari which wasn’t bad, but could be cooked more. Then we got our entrees(sweet and sour chicken with noodles instead of rice). Noodles were kinda dry and no flavor. Not the noodles we previous have came for and enjoyed. Pretty much just ate the chicken. Also saw the manager sit down with a «regular» customer as the customer stated and someone keep coming to get him for help and him returning multiply times really kinda was annoying as they were talking about baseball and other stuff when he obviously has a restaurant to operate. Overall a good experience except for the food. I will be definitely be returning, but tonight wasn’t the best.

I thought I was coming home to an orange chicken dinner but low and behold, you messed up my order. I literally only had the chicken portion of my meal in the to-go bag that was waiting for me when I got home from work. It says on my receipt WHITERICE multiple times, yet they still forgot to put it in my bag. Thanks for nothing. Paying double the price of Pei Wei and not even getting my full order. Edit: I’m only upping the stars because the food and service are great when dining in.

I went in not knowing what to expect. My group ordered a few appetizers and a few entrées: Salt and Pepper Calamari, Crab Wontons, the Singapore Street Noodles, the Chicken Lo Mein, and the Kung Pao Chicken. The calamari was good but the sauce was a bit to sweet for by taste, it wasn’t your average calamari. The Wontons had a lot more crab than cheese which is not what I’m used to so but didn’t work for me, however a seafood lover might enjoy it more. The street noodles were good and had a nice spice to them. The peppers that came with the Kung Pao were very hard and chewy, I didn’t enjoy them but they could be eaten around. The Lo Mein was exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend for a lunch if you are in the mall, otherwise find a place that can out more care into the dishes. The chain is good, it just has the chain taste and feel.

Americanized Chinese food can be hit or miss, but PF Chang’s has put their own unique spin on some pretty standard dishes. My typical go to items are the lettuce wraps and the«Szechuan of the sea» with squid. Both served with generous portions that are an excellent value for the cost. On our most recent visit our service was good as always. The server was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall I have no complaints and had an excellent experience. We will definitely be back again.

Awesome Chinese food place. Can’t go wrong at this restaurant. Yeah it’s a bit pricier than a mom and pop Chiense food place, but it’s worth it every so often. I had the Orange Chicken(which was mildy spicy and they gave me so much of it) and a couple Mai Thais. The Mai Thais were very good in price and pretty strong, which was nice as well. They brought out a complimentary desert for my Dad’s birthday as well. Awesome and friendly server.

A-Ok… Not sure what it was, I loved PF Changs when i was in high school, I just think my taste buds have grown up. We were shopping at Somerset and stopped in for a drink and some appetizers. The dumplings were a little chewy and extra salty, Edamame came out a little cold, Spare Ribs very chewy. Just not feeling the love. Service was very good even thought the place was packed.

Dined here on Memorial Day of all days, his very unpatriotic of us. It was slow due to the holiday which was fine by me. Our server was very nice however my parents had never been to a PF Changs before and had some questions that he really didn’t know the answer to. So that was a bit disappointing. I ordered the lobster rice and while it was really yummy I didn’t gather from the description that the lobster would be fried. I was a smidge sadden that my beautiful lobster was deep fried but let’s face it, it was tasty. My parents also enjoyed their meals: Korean BBQ and Asian Salmon. I also had the best fortune cookie ever it read simply«beer»…my kind of fortune!

Good, better than average Chinese food. Fried pork dumplings, beef lo mien and Mongolian beef were all very good. The Mongolian beef is pretty heavy on the green onion. They will switch for another veg if you request. We had a great waiter

I used to go here more than I do now(I probably go to Pei Wei more than PF Chang’s) but was meeting a friend for lunch and I can walk here from work(bonus). I have a few free appetizer coupons left from years ago, when you used to be able to take their surveys on your receipts, so we got the chicken lettuce wraps — kinda pricey at $ 8.95, but always delicious. I got the honey chicken with white rice, and hot and sour soup. Your choices with your lunch entrée are hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, or a mixed salad, which I think is new. Service was great — my water glass was never empty — until the end, when she seemed to have drifted off somewhere. We also split the mini tiramisu and the chocolate peanut butter crunch cake for dessert($ 2.95) each, which were delicious. I guess they got rid of their shooter /shot glass desserts though, I always liked those. $ 2.95 is a pretty good deal for a small slice of tiramisu or cake, though. I’d be back to this location when I want to go somewhere sit-down in the mall for lunch.
