My husband and I have been in here multiple times since we first got engaged almost 5 years ago. We have purchased an engagement ring, wedding bands, and Pandora charms from there. We are both beyond pleased with the selection, price, sales people, and their service department. They had my engagement ring resized within just a couple hours; we just strolled around the mall and it was done! I recommend Elias to friends and family frequently.

Brought them a watch to resize. Just needed a link removed. They charged a fair price. $ 10. And it was all over in less than 5 minutes. My only complaint would be it seemed a bit sketchy that they did not give me the link that they took(nor did they even offer to give it back). They rightly assumed that I wouldn’t care, and they could keep the metal, but they should have at the very least asked if I wanted it back. Whatever. No big deal. I’d come back for a similar service in the future and would simply speak up if I actually wanted the removed link back.

Best jewelry store I have been too. They were friendly and I was in and out in no time. The prices are so low and they are negotiable. I bought a beautiful diamond ring for my wife and we are happily married. Going to Elias is the best choice I’ve ever made.

My friend went to Elias Diamonds to shorten my bracelet, and he charged my friend $ 80 just to take off one bracket. And he made him pay first which my friend did. So he charged my friend $ 80 for a job most jewelers do for $ 7 or free. I told my friend to go to Kay jewelers or MJ diamonds but no matter what don’t go to Elias diamonds, because they always try hustling people. For some reason he didn’t listen to me. He came and told me how much they charged him, I couldn’t believe it. I walked over to Elias diamonds and I told the lady to tell that guy to stop working on the bracelet, I don’t want you guys doing it. She kept ignoring me! Then i told the owner to tell that guy to stop working on the bracelet two times and he didn’t, then he looked at me he’s like hold on Im busy. He wasn’t busy at all he was having a conversation with his son talking about where they should go for lunch. Then he came over to me a few minutes later and asked me what the problem was, and I told him you overcharged my friend you took advantage of him because he doesn’t know anything about jewelry. So give me the bracelet back and refund me the money we’re going somewhere else. He looks at me and says the bracelet is almost done, I told him I told you to stop working on it and he didn’t have a response he just had a blank stare not knowing what to say. Then I asked did my friend really just pay $ 80 for a 5 minute job? and he just looked at me and didn’t say anything. Then I asked him why’d you charge so much? He looks at me and says well I did a 100% job I’m like it doesn’t cost that much at all. And he’s like I’m dealing with your friend not you. I told him it’s my bracelet therefore you’re dealing with me, my friend was next to me during this whole thing and my friend told him your dealing with him now not with me. He ended up finishing the bracelet, then he has the guy take the bracelet up the stair case he said to polish it and I told him give me back MY bracelet I’m leaving and he wouldn’t he’s like I have to polish it cuz I do a 100% job. I told him I don’t want you polishing it just give it back to me so I can leave and he wouldn’t, I had to argue with him about giving me back MY bracelet for minutes! Then the guy came back down and he finally gave it back to me, I looked at the bracelet and they were multiple diamonds missing with a bunch of scratches on it I showed him, he’s like you gave it like that which I didn’t, it was perfectly fine before they worked on it. I told him where’s the bracket you took off I want that back he said«idk where the guy put it» couple minutes more of arguing he gave me back the bracket and I left. Worse experience ever, never going there again! and you shouldn’t either unless you want to get overcharged, hustled, or having your own jewelry stolen from you.

I went in with a friend at around 5PM on 4⁄29 with three watches(all purchased at a different retailer for about $ 20 each) that needed battery replacement. We asked if they could change the battery and also fix a scratch on the glass cover of the watch. PETER stated the GLASS was CRYSTAL and could not be repaired, but could be replaced for $ 40, which we passed on and just opted for the battery replacement. PETER took the watches and spent between 4 – 6 minutes total repairing all three watches. Following the repair, a woman brought them to the counter and said«$ 50, cash or charge?». I told her that it seemed high, to which she replied only by shrugging her shoulders and raising her eyebrows in a demeaning manner. The $ 50 charge was then explained by PETER only after asking multiple times why it was so high for 5 minutes of work. He told us that one of the batteries was $ 25, explained that there was labor involved, and then lowered the price to $ 40. Feeling as if we had no option but to pay since we didn’t ask for a … on 4⁄29 with three watches(all purchased at a different retailer for about $ 20 each) that needed battery replacement. He told us that one of the batteries was $ 25, explained that there was labor involved, and then lowered the price to $ 40. Feeling as if we had no option but to pay since we didn’t ask for a price upfront, we did. We immediately walked less than 100 feet away to another jewelery store capable of watch repair, and without knowing about the previous repair, the worker quoted us $ 20 to replace the batteries in all three watches.(How is this possible if one of the batteries costs $ 25?). We returned to PETER at Elias Diamonds to request a refund and the return of the old batteries. The excuses piled up; ‘Our credit card machine wont do refunds — the batteries are previously used now so we cant take them back — maybe you went to a jeweler which is why it was lower — the labor is $ 10 per watch(so the batteries are only $ 3 each now?) etc.’ We refused to leave without a refund and the return of our previous batteries, and were escorted out of the store by mall security. After explaining the problem to security, they recommended we file a report/complaint with the mall, which we did. A complaint will also be filed with the BBB. I told the woman after we paid originally that they should post the pricing upfront. She replied by coldly saying they would take it into consideration. After asking her about the jeweler comment stated above, she stated«I’m not in the mood to talk anymore» — Very professional. I realize now that this is an independant store very capable and willing to take advantage of customers because the money goes straight into PETER’S pocket, unlike the jewelry stores surrounding it in the mall on every other corner. PLEASE take your business elsewhere if you appreciate customer service.
