I’m sitting in their parking lot, my car battery died, there’s three attendants standing around not busy, and they out right refused to help. I have my own cables. Perhaps it’s a personal inconvenience or its a policy, either way I won’t be coming back.

We wanted soup but there wasn’t any of the kind we wanted in the soup island so we asked if we could buy the pre packaged gourmet soups from the deli and have the deli heat them up for us. Aaron said it wouldn’t be an issue. Unbeknownst to us the deli doesn’t have a microwave, but Aaron still took our soup and heated it up in the break room for us. Which I feel is exceptional service, he could’ve told us there wasn’t a microwave in the deli is was unable to heat our soup for us, but he didn’t. I worked in the retail grocery business for 26 years before moving to Oregon and believe me when I tell you, employees like Aaron are a rare breed. He is definitely an asset to Safeway.

I actually sprouted my first grey hair waiting for a sandwich from their deli. Come busy times this store is always a nightmare to pay at. Check out lanes are obnoxiously long and the store is very under staffed.

You guys need to work on getting a few extra checkers when is busy. Every time we go there as soon as it gets busy everyone all of a sudden is on lunch, taking breaks or just disappears to the back. It’s seriously annoying and unprofessional. If you don’t want to deal with customers you should look for a new career path!

Safeway is an average grocery store. I shop here primarily for two reasons: it’s close to home and gas rewards. The family has to eat and there are some staples I can’t pick up at the Farmer’s Markets, so why not get .10 cents or more off of my fill ups as well? This particular Safeway is always clean and the staff is helpful. I love that there is a Starbucks in here too.

I don’t shop here much, but I do like the «Just for U» program. I go out of my way to get Milk because it’s cheaper than even Walmart. There regular and sale prices are not that cheap though.
