If you want customer service don’t plan on getting it here. Come here once a week and no one has ever greeted me or asked me if I had any questions or anything. They don’t seem to happy about their jobs. Only get 2 stars because they have good bagels and the kid shopping carts are cool for my daughter. Otherwise stay away. Prices are crazy high and I asked the seafood guy if they had fresh tuna and he looked at me like I was crazy. And said they don’t sell fresh tuna at any grocery store in Portland. Really? Because I went down the street and got it the other day after leaving here… If you don’t know what your talking about simply say… Wait for it… I don’t know mam or I’m not sure…

WAY too many changes have happened to this store. I don’t mind that they’ve switched ALL of the isles(literally turned the whole store backwards) that happens to remodeled stores. You eventually find your way around. But why take away the self check out? Seriously? A quick, straight forward trip that would have taken 5 minutes in & out now takes 10 +min having to wait in an express line & having to talk to a check out person. I asked the cashier why they took out the self check out & they said they wanted to increase human contact. I DONT want human contact. It’s an introvert’s nightmare. And it’s super annoying being forced to have to communicate with someone to check out. Luckily the past few times the express check out ppl have exchanged less than 5 words with me. I’m not a mean, cynical person. I just like my space & independence when I go grocery shopping. This morning I came in & left emptied handed. I went to Freddie’s instead. They’ve got great self checkout. I won’t be frequenting albertsons too often anymore. This store use to be my favorite.

I’m a frequent shopper at this Albertsons location. Clean, staff friendly and prices are reasonable. Deli has great chicken and fresh ready-made foods. I’ve stopped in to get a whole chicken already cooked for dinner to save time after a long day. Such a timesaver! My compliments to the produce section. Produce always fresh and organic items are plentiful. Meat and seafood counter can be a bit slow, but always fresh cuts. WOW… The bakery staff seems to care less and has ignored me and/or my son,(they offer free chocolate chip cookies to kids!), while they talk amongst themselves. The store is undergoing remodel right now, but the layout appears to be much better. Parking lot clean and ample. I love that Walgreens is in the same parking lot. One less trip when doing errands!

This is how a good supermarket does it. Such description is perfectly apt for the Albertson’s in Troutdale. Despite the working class reputation of the area, much splendor can be found here. They have a vast selection of foods, including a giant selection of cheese, and even some sushi. There is also lots of ready-to-eat sandwiches. I walked in for a relatively low-calorie lunch. Their sushi at four dollars for many California rolls was wonderful. There is so much to look at and it was a speedy trip. Albertson’s in Troutdale is simply amazing.

This is my favorite Albertsons store to shop at. It’s located in the heart of Troutdale close to Mount Hood Community College. The parking lot is spacious and never too busy. It is also nice there is a Mobil gas station right next door. The Deli has good fried chicken and jojos. It is great that you can choose the option to get legs and thighs instead of just the regular mixed pieces. The prices on the deli items are reasonable as well. The fruits and vegetables are moderately priced with a good selection of organic items to choose from. There is also a Starbucks located inside the store. Overall, this is a good store to shop at and has all the essentials you need in a grocery store.

Two stars because at least 5 store associates(even what looks to be a manager or PIC!) did not acknowledge me if i needed any help at the cakery area. Waited for 10 mins in front of the cake window until I demanded for help for a cake. I cannot believe this experience. I dont understand why grocery store like this even have this type of cake counter bakery service if they have no one working behind there?!

Oh and instead of a full refund of $ 60.00 of which we paid for the cake, the damn manager only refunds $ 54.99 because we did not have a receipt! Are you kidding me? That is why you have us pay before the cake is made so that you have a extra copy of the receipt! And you only saw the order form it says $ 60.00. Damn this Albertson’s Bakery! This will be my last time ever ordering from them and I hope you all rethink about ordering from them half a** job bakers! Lesson learned when you misjudge your local Albertsons! Thought this one would be better cause it was in a better side of town. Wasn’t the case cause the worst bakers are on this side.

On the Troutdale/Gresham border lies this Albertson’s store. The checkers are fairly friendly and the store feels pretty empty(might be due to it’s hugeness). They have a small«hippy» section that could be expanded on. Not much else to say about a generic chain grocery store.

A friend and I ran in here for snacks before hiking along the Columbia. Our first stop was Starbucks. We both wanted the Pike Place Roast, but it was still brewing. The barista, who was very friendly, told us to go do our shopping and she’d have our coffees ready when we were done. And she did. The store is clean, the employees were friendly, and after a year of living in NYC, it was nice to be in an Albertson’s again. I grew up shopping at one in Texas and it felt like I was back home for a little while.
