Electric City, WA
For the collective «One Horse Town» of Electric City, Grand Coulée, and Grand Coulée Dam… This particular Safeway has been like my American Embassy when traveling abroad. It’s my go to for anything food related… That is, if I’m cooking.
Produce is good, meat is on point, basic organization of categories, etc.
Very impressed with the Pharmacy staff. They would give this place an extra star if that was an option.

The worst part about Safeway is the long lines at the checkout counter. There’s always too few cashiers (or a lady that’s failing at extreme couponing and returning literally half of her entire cart) and rarely do I not see a line stretching out into the aisles.
Once you do finally make it to the register, however, the cashiers are very friendly and able. We have reusable bags and they’re always packed well.

Despite it being pretty expensive sometimes, the club card has AMAZING deals and I do end up stockpiling those things that are something crazy like 10 for 10 items. I come here when Winco doesn’t have it. Also for produce, because it’s better here, but more expensive. For everything I go to Winco, but for specialty items like a really fancy meat cut, I come here. Usually am in and out, but always a bit disappointed they don’t stay open longer. I like shopping at night.

Like Wal-​mart, but without the low prices. Cranky employees and long lines. I only go here when I have to even though it is the closest store to me.

I shop here all the time. The cashiers usually seem like they hate their lives, but sometimes you’ll get a good one. I’m giving them 5 stars because their Chinese food is extremely good. It is much better than the Safeway in Troutdale and the people working in the Deli are usually pretty nice.

I don’t normally shop here, but if you’re looking for some excellent Chinese food — you’ve come to the right place. My boyfriend and I are constantly on the hunt for local Chinese, but have been sadly let down time after time…
However, this is where you need to go. Great price, great service, great eats.

i only go here when i am have NO where else to go. they have like 15 check stands but i have never, ever seen more than 3 open at the same time. the lines take FOREVER.
