Holy smokes! This is the best dang ice cream I may have ever had!!! All the ice creams are homemade. Haven’t been back to Traverse City since summertime but I’m still dreaming about the ice cream!!!

Love everything about this place! I love that they care about the ingredients, and don’t use artificial junk! ! The staff is friendly and does a great job. The honey lavender ice cream and the milk and honey latte are both addicting!

One of the best real, no artificial coloring or flavoring creameries. It’s the real deal! Spoke with the owner and got the inside scoop. If you are a true ice creamophile, you will truly appreciate the efforts of this one of a kind creamery.

Don’t miss this place if you’re in Traverse City. The House Caramel Latte is as advertised, the world’s best, and the ice cream is from another world. We had a full lunch with soup, sandwiches and ice cream and couldn’t be happier. The fact that everything is organic is just icing on the cake. Seriously, eat here.

The store is NOT filled with the smell of artificial flavorings like some other ice cream places, which I really appreciate since I find those smells very repulsive, yet unfortunately so many ice cream places are like that nowadays… In addition, their mint and pistachio ice creams are not dyed green! Thumbs up for their courage of doing so since many customers have been tricked into believing that mint and pistachio ice cream«should» look green. We ended up having roasted coconut and pistachio ice cream. Both are really nice and you can taste the original coconut and pistachio flavors. Store setup is like a Coldstone but the ice cream is of better quality. Didn’t have the blend-ins so could not comment on that.

Vegan ice cream is delicious! Everything is house made. Mix-ins for the ice cream are prepared in front of you. We would come back to try more flavors of ice cream

We enjoyed date night in downtown Traverse ending here at Milk and Honey. All products are organic, GMO free and local dairy. I had lavender honey which was such a special and unique treat! Would for sure recommend it!

Stumbled upon this place in search for ice cream. The girl that helped us was super friendly which I was thoroughly please with. My wife was able to get non-dairy items such as sorbet and vegan matcha flavor, I got the espresso ice cream and it all tasted really good.

Got smoothie it was ok. Ice cream was probably much better. Staff was nice, place was clean, line moved fast on a hot summer day. I will give another chance one day.

I had the salty caramel shake and it was not what I expected at all. It tasted like vanilla blended with a little caramel drizzle with a weird after taste. I think I just picked the wrong flavor given other positive reviews! I appreciate that it was organic and gmo free, though! Prices were average for more high end ice cream shops.

For a tourist town, few ice cream places are open past dinner on Sunday evening; they were until 10. If you are familiar w Coldstone concept of ice cream with mix-ins, it is the same. But a more gourmet, high-end version. Was packed, but they were moving everyone through quickly. Even vegan flavors. Our group tried: German chocolate(dark choc ice cream, coconut, caramel, & more) Cannonball(espresso ice cream, toffee, caramel) Turtle-least fav of group, not enough choc for my momma. Salty caramel– I tried everyone’s and mine was my fav. Sweet cream ice cream with generous caramel and shake of salt). This a recommendation of the employee when debating. A simple classic without all the extra toppings. A great add to the TC downtown!

Great addition to the TC downtown area! Wife and I spent the day browsing shops downtown and had an early dinner before finishing it off with a treat from Milk and Honey. I’ve been to organic ice cream shops before where they had very limited flavors and half of them are something you have to be adventurous to even try… Milk and Honey is not like that. They have lots flavors we are all used to seeing in an ice cream shop. I think my wife sampled at least half of them ;). I ended up with a scoop of coffee ice cream which was excellent and my wife chose a scoop of the milk chocolate and honey and lavender. Great flavor, we will definitely be back!

I didn’t try any food or drinks, but the ice cream I had was the best ice cream I have ever eaten in my life. The espresso ice cream with Heath bar and toasted almond chunks was everything I’ve ever wanted. All of the other flavors sounded incredible, too. I will definitely be back.

Very yummy ice cream and lots of other choices to pick from! The setup of the place and how they mashed up the ice cream reminded me of Cold Stone Creamy. The staff was friendly and quick with our orders. I ordered the«Birthday Cake Re-Master» and they mixed all of the ingredients on a granite slab. The ice cream and everything else appeared to be more local and homemade which is a nice touch. Some tables outside the restaurant along the sidewalk as well as table seating inside was nice as well. Busy place on a Thursday evening in July, but didn’t have to wait to be served!

Stumbled upon this place as we were walking our bikes downtown in search of a sweet treat. Delicious, quick service, great helping(for a small cup) for a reasonable price, around $ 3 with no mix ins. Love that it is local, organic, and non gmo too. Would definitely go back.

This place was the highlight of our trip to Traverse City! Vegan ice cream isn’t something everybody is looking for but when you have a dairy allergy it is life! This place also had amazing regular ice cream and they make many of the flavors made to order. I ordered the butter pecan ice cream and they added all the ingredients to the base ice cream right there in front of me. The ice cream is fairly priced and delicious! Make sure to stop in!

This place is amazing! Ice cream was so good and fresh– all flavors are vegan, non-GMO, and gluten free. They do mix ins for the ice creams based on what you want to order. I am a celiac and cannot consume any gluten and the staff was so nice and helpful– they got my ice cream from a new box and used a fresh slate to prevent any sort of cross-contamination. The staff was so great and the ice cream was delicious! I highly recommend.
