Been coming here every summer for 25 years. I’ve been disappointed the past few. This past weekend I stayed in C Loop and was VERY disappointed. Upon arrival, I explained to a ranger that my name was reserved for two sites and another party was arriving later. She explained they needed to check-in to get a blue pass. Hours later, when they arrived, my party explained he was in one of my sites and the other officer explained that my name was only on one site and that I was trespassing and illegally staying at the other. He was also charged seven dollars for his ONE vehicle. When he told me this, I flagged down another ranger making her rounds. I explained the situation and my confusion as my credit card was charged for both sites. She came back later apologizing saying my name was indeed on both sites and both had been paid for. She refunded his money. However, during our whole stay no one changed our sign from«one night only» to «reserved,» our sight had not been cleaned, and the grass was dead. I will not visit ever again nor can I recommended. There is poor communication and poor upkeep.

The hubs and I were on our way to Crater Lake Nat’l Park and decided to stop here on the way. It was our first camping experience in Oregon and we’re so glad we chose this place. We were there at the end of March so it was mostly empty… but the restrooms were very clean, with flushing toilets and a place to wash your dishes. Campsites are spacious, grassy, and flat. We had a stunning view of the lake from our site, and there are trails that go around the lake. Peaceful, tranquil, and simply beautiful.

What a great find! We have spent two nights here so far and love it. I’m fortunate enough to have traveled to the majority of the national parks and can say this campground is nicer than any I have come across before. We only planned on being here a few nights of a three week journey but I’m already planning on a dedicated trip back just to this spot. Tons of outdoor family activities near by. Bring your bicycle and ride the trial around the campground and lake. You will want to punch yourself in the face if you show up here without a fishing pole and a bicycle.

I happened upon the campground on my way back from Crater Lake. $ 17 a night for a huge campsite. Flush toilets, showers and much more! Lovely hiking trails on a huge lake. You can tent camp or RV, there’s plenty of room! I will stay here again when in the area.

We had a wonderful camping experience, spent 3 nights. Sites were large, restroom and showers clean. It’s well maintained and you don’t need quarters. I loved our site, lots of grass, so our camping stuff was not dusty like some places we’ve camped before. No bears, so nice. Close to Crater Lake falls, hiking, fishing and enjoy your time at the lake. We’re looking forward to planning this again for next year. My kids enjoyed themselves — that’s an A + for us.
