New China Star

I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken lunch combination with pork fried rice. Price was fair, portion size was adequate, and the food was good. I’ll be returning next time I’m in the area.

Always get great food here, and they deliver! The delivery is always fast and has been consistently good, the people are great!

Don’t waste your money. 2 small shrimp in the lunch special that costs over $ 7.00. The pork dumpling are mostly dough, not much filling, very taste-​less. They have gone down hill!
Completely taken off our lunch ordering places.

Very rude on the phone left us on hold for 10 minutes just to tell us they were to busy to deliver to us.

We always ordered general tso, egg rolls, and Singapore chow mei fun.
The eggs rolls were very good, with plenty of filling and flavor. The general tso was fantastic for take-​out. The chicken was always moist and not a tiny shriveled piece of «maybe this is chicken» hidden inside a cushion of batter. It was also a nice order of actual chicken, not a couple pieces of chicken, four bell peppers, and a bundle of carrots.
All that was good enough for a 1.5 hour round trip drive for Chinese food, but we would have driven for the Singapore chow mei fun alone. If you order nothing else, you must try that. It’s fantastic.
Sadly, we’ve since moved away to the land of terrible Asian food. If we could order anything from Connecticut and have it shipped out here, it would definitely be the Singapore chow mei fun from this little hole-​in-​the-​wall.
We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality take-​out.

I’m pretty picky about Chinese food, but this place is good. The employees were friendly enough and acknowledged us as soon as we walked to the counter and the food was good! The rice could be better (no veggies or onions in it, just pork squares), but overall I was satisfied.

Good and clean restaurant (for a Chinese). I always ask for the same: chicken with mix vegetables large, it’s delicious and healthy.

lol to the girl above me, I think that’s silly to say. Every place makes mistakes, it’s run by humans and humans mess up.
err yea, so the food is consistently very good here, and it’s well priced. I love it mucho.

I personally have had no problems with the food here, but about six years ago my dad got a ridiculous case of food poisoning from the food here and to this day… and one move to South Carolina he still avoids all Chinese food like the plague, so beware.
