Tried to return an item that I bought at an outlet store. I had the receipts but they wouldn’t since I purchased it at the outlet store. This policy was not stated during the purchase. The employee was smug and stead fast about the policy. The customer is definitely not first at New York & Co. They lost a customer.

This is the worst service. The lines are not moving. They are opening credit and ringing people up in the same line. They have to phone the approvals which is extremely slow.

I love New York & Company but this location has the worst service and incompetent staff. It has definitely changed from a few years ago. I’ve only gone in there a few times in the past year because of the service but I stopped in today with a return from an online order and wanted to purchase a few things as well. When I asked an employee where something was located she said«somewhere on the other side of the store» and didn’t bother to take me to it or show me. There was a long line for check out with just one register open. While she was ringing me up, she made a mistake and said she would need to re-ring my entire transaction. At that point, I was already running late so I left without completing my return or purchasing my items. I’ll continue to purchase online until a closer, better store opens up. BTW, the Cool Springs location in Nashville had epic service!

I have had good times and bad times at this store but on this visit I was assisted by cashier #353635 who was a delight! If her supervisor reads this please give her a high five. She would have made you proud. We all want to be assisted by someone as pleasant as her when we brave the malls during the holidays!

I love the clothes & accessories from here but the service is just HORRIBLE! I purchased 10 earrings. When I got home, I realized that one of the earrings was missing a bead. It was a red-line item, but I was hoping that the store would exchange the damaged item for something that was in good condition. I got to the cashier and explained the situation; I didn’t notice the damage when I made the purchase, I understand the red-line item policies, but I just wanted to exchange it for a pair of earrings that were in good condition. She contacted a manager and didn’t even explain the situation. She just said«she wants to know if she can exchange these». Of course the manager’s first reaction is «No, because it’s a red line item.» I then re-explained the whole story to her again. She didn’t seem to care, but said she’d have to ask a higher Manager in the back. After waiting for 10 mins, the cashier had to call her to find out if they had any answer about my earrings. The cashier then said to me «you can’t exchange the earrings». No reason, no apology, nothing. I didn’t want to make a scene at the store so I didn’t push it. I asked the names of the two managers that refused my exchanges. Another gentleman overheard my question and rudely interrupted and asked«what’s the problem?». I told him«I’m the one asking about the earrings.» His response was«yeah, they’re all on sale for $ 6». What started out as a MISSINGBEAD on a pair of $ 5 earrings turned into a CUSTOMERSERVICENIGHTMARE!!! That’s not even what I was talking about!!! Even if the store held to their policy, I could understand. Not once did anyone apologize for selling me a damaged item or even seem to care/understand what I was trying to tell them. I was so put off that I even contacted NY&Co corporate. They didn’t care either.

I love NY&Co and shop here all the time. This store location is awesome, pretty much because of the store manager, Kyle. He is awesome. I mean, seriously awesome! From the first time I walked in and he was there, he greeted me in a warm, friendly and professional tone, checked in with me while I was shopping(being careful not to over do it as some sales associates do) and was just completely great until I left the store. Finding a store manager like this is very rare nowadays, and I will be so sad when that day comes when he’s not there anymore! But, in the meantime, I totally enjoy shopping there because of him knowing I am going to get awesome service, regardless of what it is(dressing room, advice, checking out, returns/exchanges) he does it happily and with a smile! Love him!

Everything was 50% off for Black Friday! But the sales ladies were slower than molasses and there was hardly anyone in line. They had 2 lines and 3 – 4 registers opened. Not wise at all just saying«Next!» Next from which line? Dumb…

I absolutely love NY&C and this store location. They always have someone ready and waiting to let me into a dressing room or see if there is extra inventory in the back in the event I can’t find my size. The clothes are good quality and a great price. It is hard to find xsmall at most NY&C locations, but this location is a gem since they typically have that size in stock and on the clearance racks.
