This was awful. We went on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 8PM. They had various items to chose from. That was the best part. When getting to the register, we were told«just to let you know… We close in 30 minutes.» I was urged to ask them if they shooed us out then. The answer was«no, a chef will go around and ask for your final pass of food.» I learned that the ice cream machine stays open longer. I had to actually ask a foreign lady if I cpuld get a cut of ham. The GREAT buffets have someone carving the meat during all open hours. Then again, this clearly is not a great place. I attempted to eat the macaroni twirls, sweet and sour chicken, baked chicken, cheese pizza, pork chops(tasted like a horrid sausage), an oily bun, bland chocolate ice cream, chocolate pudding, The food was not up to my standards. It’s a shame, because my standards are not that high. The best part of the food was the ham. I also noticed that there were MAYBE2 white people. The rest were foreign or black. Not much diversity. Yes, I got hit on by the black busboy… Even though I was with my partner. Only 1 star. Would have been happier with Happy Rose, behind the building.

So gross. Unless of course you like frozen food on a trough.

We really enjoy going to Hometown, it may not be as grand as some buffets but for the price it is worth it. My husband and I like the new single servings of food offered my only comment about that is the desserts that are now in the single serving are more than I can eat. For the cobbler and bread pudding I prefer the old way. All the staff there is polite and helpful, but our favorite is Stacey. She makes everyone feel like they are in her home and will above and beyond to be as helpful as possible. As for the few who complained about meat being dry, I’m not sure where they ate because we have been going they since it opened and yet to have anything but fork tender beef.

Just plain awful and overpriced. $ 15 for Sunday buffet includes drinks for nothing but the most dry meat east of the mississippi. Mostly all vegetables and sides and everything bland. My advise is to stay away at all costs.

Took Fam there on saturday night. Lady at the cash register acted putout that she had to take our money? Weird. This place cost us $ 65(three kids under 12!) not including drinks! After eating the seven of us came up with the items that we really liked: Mac&cheese, fried chicken. Nothing else was really that good. Next time we’ll spend the money on menu items at a restaurant and I think like the food better.

Why do people come here? I just don’t understand. If you like an overpriced assortment of frozen, high school cafeteria food, you’re in luck! If you do, I bet I could also interest you in dial up internet. It’s waaaaay too pricey for the quality of food and the place is always dirty. I went through several pieces of silverware in the jar before I found a clean one. Who cares if it’s unlimited? Ask yourself if you’d rather have a limited portion of amazing food(somewhere else) or an unlimited portion of mediocre food(here). To me, the choice is simple.

I actually like this buffet, they have a pretty good selection. A large salad bar, with pasta salads and such. There is also actually pretty good fried chicken and mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese. I’m not one to shy from an all you can eat buffet and just because you have as many as you want here doesn’t meant that the food has to be horrible. Actually its like what you would eat for dinner, but a bigger selection and you don’t have to salave in the kitchen. But it isn’t anything spectacular, its more of a convenience.
