I ordered carry-out from here this weekend. It was a mistake. The garbage balls I ordered were made with the wrong toppings, and didn’t seem to be tossed in wing sauce. The cheese on top was still cold, and didn’t even melt by the time I got home. In my humble opinion, the Jed’s in BG is way better. Same order is high quality and the BG one has«Spudsters» on the menu. This location didn’t know what I was talking about when I asked for them. Lunch was kind of a disappointing, but now I know not to use this location.

If I could take an audio file instead of a picture I would. Seriously what music are you playing? R+B top 10 jams all explicit versions? There are 2 nfl games playing currently both on mute. Maybe this is why your bar is empty on a Sunday; there are more bar patrons at ralphies down the street and their food is basic. Currently looking around the bar just saw a poster on the windows of 2 chicks doing the kissy/duck face … Classic. Giving you 3 stars because you have good food, games are on, and your workers are pretty. P. S. Not going to lie I did catch my head bouncing to the club music. Recommendation: if you want to play your club music, make it more of the background noise filler with the games being a priority. Although the ambiance of flames doesn’t match r+b ***** went back a couple weeks later no club music just football. Those cooks in the kitchen deserve a separate tip box. Food so good

Jed’s is a fixture in northwest Ohio but this location is quite unlike the others. It’s extremely small(about 4 – 5 tables total) and nothing in it is clean. I enjoy other Jed’s locations but I would skip this one.

Okay listen, it take A LOT to skeeve me out. I will eat almost anywhere, the bigger dive, the better. But, this wasn’t a dive, it was just really, really gross. It was filthy and broke down. Everything was thick and sticky to the touch. There was one server working at 11:30am on a Friday for lunch. I ordered my Jed’s usual, fungus balls and fries. I didn’t get the fries. I reminded the server. Never saw her again, until check time, in which the fries were there to be paid for. To be honest, I was paying for a lot of food I didn’t eat, because none of it looked legit enough to put into my mouth. The serving size was very small, and there was all this weird watery liquid under the food. Not grease, but… loose liquid. And the blue cheese dipping sauce was yellow. «You don’t want a box?» the server asked? Nope, sure don’t, but I would like a tetanus shot.

I’ve moved out of the area about 6 years ago to Washington, D.C. I remember Jed’s having good bar food and we stopped for a quick bite to eat for lunch while in town. We sat down and it took about 5 – 10 minutes to get our menu. We put in an order of fried pickles and then when the waitress came back she came back with the pickles and took the rest of our order. My husband ordered a burger and I ordered banana balls. The banana balls were banana peppers with chicken chunkS. It took over 40 minutes to get our lunch. My chicken chunks were dried out and gross. My husband liked his burger but the generic nuclear cheese looked disgusting on his burger. I was disappointed with the food and service here. We saw people who came in after us, eat and leave before we even got our food. I’m sad how bad this place has gotten.

Nice place for beer and chicken chunks… Kind of a small town feel even for being in West Toledo.

Hey Jed’s owner, the reason why this one is failing is the service. No amount of groupons or coupons will increase revenue if the wait staff does not wait on customers. We sat for over 20 minutes, no one bothered to stop and see us once. The many fruitflies were very sociable however. We took the cue to leave when the patrons at the table next to us were very obviously perturbed having waited just as long for there check.

Jed’s was a shot in the dark to grab a cold drink while we waited for the rehearsal dinner to start. Good beer prices. The food didn’t seem to be what brought people in. I do not think I will be going back however do not think people should use this review as an indication of not making their own opinion. the staff was very friendly and on a beautiful day there is outside seating that should be taken advantage of.

Love this place! Ok food but great prices! The sand court is awesome to play on. The waitress are always so nice and prompt. The owner is very much in touch with the operations side and always on location. I think they could utilize the outdoor bar a lot more. there’s a lot of real estate out there that could potentially bring in more revenue

I am a long-time Jed’s lover, who recently had the opportunity to check out this smaller venue. It was volleyball league night, which had the place packed for a Tuesday, but we had no trouble getting a table. I started my meal with water and my guest ordered a Miller lite. We are both huge fans of spinach and artichoke dip, so we did not hesitate to order it when we were considering an appetizer. It was delivered piping hot with tortilla chips for dipping. The dip was cheesy and delicious and we both really enjoyed it, finishing the appetizer. For the main meal, we got an order of fries to share, I had fireballs and my guest had regular wings(Tuesday night is a wing special!). As usual, the fireballs did not disappoint, and they remain my favorite«boneless wings» around. Definitely check out this location of Jed’s if the opportunity presents itself. The service is great and the food is the same food that you have become familiar with from the Jed’s restaurants.

Still the same delicious Jed’s Food with a beach volleyball court. Overall I would say the food is delicious and cheaper than the downtown Jed’s(about $ 1 cheaper for balls) But the space had far too many tables and made it awkward to move around. There was a Gnat issue which may or may not be connected to the volleyball court, but if you are not near the wash sink it didn’t seem to be a problem. I have never been disappointed by the food, my personal favorite, the Phillyballs with Hot Barbeque are the best.
