The lady behind the counter is rude but I do not go there to ask her for a date or lively conversation. I go there when I have a bridge mix, or a salt water taffy craving. And also for those great 60’s era candies like Slo poke, Black Cows, Buttons, Saucers and Razzles, Bonomo Turkish taffy and yes Chuckles. If you can get past Angry Annie at the counter you can certainly satisfy your sweet tooth. 4 stars for product 1 deducted for Angry Annie.

Been going there for years. Products are usually good and somewhat fair prices. But the owner/​manager needs a reality check. She embarrasses and humiliates customers out load. She acts likes it’s a burden for her to been there. Guess she doesn’t realize who’s really paying her bills !

Beware. I bought my mom a box of candy from here. Totally rock hard and stale. I brought it back in the original box with receipt hoping they would simply replace with a fresh box. She argued with me and gave me another stale box.
I won’t be going back. Plenty of other candy places in tinley!
