There was a beautiful blue eyed angel who was a very kind boy, although he looked a little underage he made up for it by making a killer bowl! At first I didn’t like this place very much, but this boy made my experience a very good one and because of him, I shall give this place a 5 star review… THANKYOUBLUEEYEDANGEL

Delicious!!! Great to have this so close by for a bowl anytime I want!!! The owner is just a sweetheart and really cares about her brand and what she is selling. She is from Hawaii so she knows what a true acai bowl should be!!! People complain about getting a «smoothie in a bowl» and how they were mislead but if you know what an acai bowl is… That’s exactly what they sell! Delicious toppings, beautiful presentation and great locations!

Imagine my surprise after I finished my eye care appointment… Craving… something — not food but something sweet and maybe a… ohhhh smoothie?! There is a new smoothie place! How exciting!!! And there is no one waiting… that sounds so great and it will be up fast since it is pretty cold out so I can grab a smoothie and do some light shopping. So, I look at the long menu and figure out they offer fruit bowls and smoothies… I order a medium northwest berry and explain to the guy this is my first time there and I apologize since my eyes are dilated from my appointment so I cannot read very well. He asks what ‘addition’ I want… I was confused because I saw nothing like that with the smoothies but he shows me a list and I say black raspberry since my smoothie is all dark berries. Another woman comes and orders something… and then we are waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting… seriously? and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting… dear lord really? and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting… did I mention VERYCOLD outside? and waiting and waiting… and he comes to the window with… a bowl of fruit… ummm…I ordered a smoothie?! «Oh…sorry…yeah that is different…» Ummm, yes, yes… a smoothie is different than a bowl of fruit — you are correct…” He goes back in… and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting… other woman comes over to me asking what I ordered thinking he might have given me her order… nope, and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting… he brings her classic fruit bowl… and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for a small cup which cost me almost $ 7 since I was overcharged $ 1 for my «fruit bowl» without realizing it until later. I just grabbed the smoothie and practically ran to the nearest store to sit until I could slightly feel my hands again… I then take a sip of my $ 7 hypothermia northwest berry smoothie. I wanted it to be the best damned berry smoothie I had ever had… $ 7 apple juice… It tasted like apple juice… and not even great apple juice. Seriously, for $ 7 buy yourself a few gallons of Ryan’s unfiltered apple cider which is pretty tasty and local. You could also go across the street and grab a Jamba Juice which is much tastier, MUCH faster and way less money.

I tried the PB Crunch bowl-Absolutely delicious! Love the whole smoothie bowl idea and this one was perfect. The granola was crunchy with the bonus of being gluten free, and the smoothie part was blended well. I loved the combination of flavors. The woman that took my order was super polite and efficient, I was there on a Monday early afternoon so it wasn’t busy at all. Will definitely have to keep an eye out for places like this in the Bay Area.

We just had our first berry bowl at Bridgeport village. For a medium, you get a dish the size of a cup of soup with a smoothie that has a tiny bit of fruit and granola on top, for $ 7. Way overpriced for what it was. I told the person it was our first time there and he just directed me to the menu which had a lot of choices. I thought we’d be getting an actual bowl of berries, as the name suggests. It tastes fine, but it was cold today and I didn’t realize it was a frozen smoothie under that fruit so not a good choice. I expected more fruit and less(or no) smoothie. They should explain what you’re getting if you say you’re new. I would’ve opted for something different. I asked the person which had a mixed berry option and he said the black raspberry. Didn’t really answer my question.

I love this place! I have been to the other location as well and I’m so happy they are now at Bridgeport because now I can go even more! The owners care a lot about the product and if you aren’t sure on what you should get, the team there is great about offering suggestions. I really like the location of this place and it’s a filling while still being light, which is the perfect combination. The sizes are great and the prices are perfect for the fresh and yummy tasting bowls!!! Thank you Berry and Bowl for coming to Bridgeport!!!

Great service, awesome concept that tastes great and is actually good for you. Love the homemade honey as well :) Will definitely be returning!

Not impressed. First, the wait is ridiculous. Second, the bowl is nothing more than a runny smoothie with a tiny amount of granola, topped with some sliced banana and honey. Basically, fancy baby food. Lastly, I will NOT be going back and would have preferred my bowl to be blended and thrown into a cup rather than pretending it was anything but a smoothie. Suggestion: drastically reduce the«blended» concoction to a fraction of what it is and increase the proportion of granola dramatically. Also, the honey is overkill. It’s plenty sweet with out the honey.

Maybe I’ve been spoiled with the likes of Greenleaf and Kure, but this place does not hold a candle to most of the acai bowl places in the Portland Metro area. I might as well have gone to Jamba Juice.

Well, I really wanted to like this. Seemed like such a good idea, but… it’s not that good. Basically it’s granola in a fruit smoothie, but in a bowl with honey on top and some banana. It was just ok. Wouldn’t order it again. Wasn’t horrible or anything, but just not worth the cost or time. The other thing was that it took at least 15 min and there was only one order ahead of us. Wayyyyyyyy too long. There was only one person working at the time, so would really suggest always having at least two. Update: owner contacted me and said they are very new at this location and are still working out some kinks. Hope she is able to take some of the feedback and make some changes so this place survives. Love the concept.
