Only been here once, but I fell in love with the store. It is small, but cozy and smell good inside. The products are well arrange, and the prices are very affordable. That’s all!

I come from a Transcaucasian region where black tea is a very important part of people’s lives. Ever since I moved to the US, 7 years ago, I was having a very hard time finding good tea. When I say good tea I mean loose tea. A tea bag is a Western thing that is not the way to truly enjoy tea. Only recently I started seeing more and more of tea shops which really makes me happy! I came across this little shop when I was trying to find a good coffee shop in Bridgeport Village and decided to check it out. My expectations were that it would be something similar to a tea section at Whole Foods. I was so pleasantly surprised!!! It was just amazing! First the experience was absolutely incredible! A young gentleman that was answering my endless and challenging questions about their tea was so friendly and so nice and so open it was just an incredible pleasure! He was so knowledgeable. I let him know how much I appreciated to talk to somebody who was so knowledgeable about a product! Second, the product. They carry about 225 different varieties of green, black and oolong teas that you can by the way smell. Each tea is put into a little jar and mounted by the magnet right next to it, which is such an incredible idea! They had cups and saucers, tea pots, all sorts of other utensils and anything you can imagine to make your tea experience pleasant! There were tea testers as well! I bought four teas and so far tried two of them, I was not disappointed! The taste and quality are amazing! Thank you for such an incredible experience!

Went there two years in a row to buy tea, we heard about it from a relative from Hawaii. The first time we went the store, amazed about the great selection of tea. The teapots and cups are beautiful too. There was a young cashier seemed more interested in watching the clock, we were there just before closing, so we rushed around and made our buys and rushed out. Still a great place for tea, just go earlier!

Came in today, nothing special, nothing good or bad about it. They sell some really good tea if you like tea. I like to support them since they are a local company.

A museum of tea and tea paraphernalia. As much a delight to peruse as their diversely flavored teas are to drink. Great prices, and the open window to the processing room is an interesting feature. Stash caters to all tastes when it comes to tea. Provides loose-leaf, bag, etc. A great resource.

I love this place! There are dozens of teapots and mugs. I believe they carry all teas they make year round even my seasonal favorite Merry Mint green tea. The prices are not any better than the grocery store, but it is nice to cut out the middle man. There are lots of great gift options here, I will be picking up Christmas gifts here for the tea lovers in my life. There are three samples available every day. If you like tea it is a must stop.

Love this Stash Tea Store! They’re located on their own, in a random area with other companies, not stores. However, I love coming here since you’re able to sniff all the different types of teas that they have, which really helps to chose new flavors of tea to try. They also have 3 samples that have been brewed, and you can pour out as much as you want to try. In addition to every flavor of tea imaginable(ranging from red velvet to jasmine to passionfruit), they also sell a variety of mugs, tea pots, and other tea drinking accessories. If you’re heading to the outlets in Tigard, make sure you stop by Stash as well! Parking is ample and the staff is really helpful. Also, if the bags of loose tea are too big for you, make sure you ask them if they have half sized bags in the back!

Somehow I was allowed to come live in the greater Portland area not being a coffee drinker. Seems almost like I am wasting living here doesn’t it? I don’t drink coffee or beer, two of the three biggest vices in the city. And yet, I am able to still live here and enjoy the other things that Portland offers; one of those things is a stellar tea community, in part because this is the World Headquarters of Stash Tea and as it happens I work right around the corner from the Stash Tea Store. This is both handy and dangerous all at the same time. Like working around the corner from VooDoo Doughnut or a really great Pub. Here at work in an accounting firm everyone pounds down the coffee and here I am with a sprightly collection of teas in my desk. From a Rooibos tea(pronounced Roy-bus) with vanilla to straight up black and green teas I have it all. Being a fan of the tealeaf doesn’t mean I know everything about it, that’s what the employees of the Stash Tea Store are for, these guys and gals really know their tea. They have teas to pep me up in the long hours of tax season and teas to mellow me out after long audits with the IRS. At home these serve well to getting me going in the morning and calming down after dealing with my son. The store itself is so well stocked with not only every kind of tea imaginable but every accessory you need from cups to tea pots; cozies to tea caddies to hold your tea bags. The store is well laid out, the tea alphabetically and the accessories handy in the middle of the space. Speaking of the space, it is in the middle of an industrial complex but it is very easy to find and the store is well signed. Seems like Stash is doing something new every time we walk in there too, which is a bonus. Treat yourself to a close encounter of the tea kind and head over here; it’s easy to work into a trip to Bridgeport and handy to several I-5 off ramps.

Yes, this store is a little out of the way. Near Bridgeport but not actually in the Bridgeport Village mall. However, they have one of the best selections — if not the best — in the area. For instance, they are just about the only place I can get my favorite Formosa oolong. I also came just at closing once and the clerk let me buy the tea I wanted. Thanks! Service is excellent. Price for quality tea in general is not cheap. This is also the case here. This is not the place for cheap, low quality tea. However, their prices are competitive. In other words, it won’t be cheap, but you also won’t get ripped off. You get good product for what you pay for as well.

Tucked away in a business park but totally worth the journey! Tea and all sorts of the related goodies that are associated with it are sold there.

Unilocal did not lead me astray here. This store carries the expected bagged teas but also, as noted, loose-leaf teas — they’re right out on the shelves in bags with descriptors. Useful descriptors, not pointlessly poetic ones. More importantly, this store doesn’t have one feature I usually associate with shopping for tea — no one tried to up-sell me on anything at all I didn’t want. I was greeted as soon as I arrived, and the gentleman working made sure that I knew he was available to answer any questions, help, etc. The only time he volunteered a suggestion was when I mentioned one thing I planned to get — he pointed out the larger size of the same thing that was presently on sale. Excellent. And when he did compliment one of the teas, it was one I’d already picked out, and felt more like geeking about tea with a fellow tea-lover than having someone try to sell me on a flavor I hadn’t decided on. I’ll be back. Although, given how much tea I bought today, maybe not for a little while. :)

I wrote in to the customer service for Stash after trying Twinings Tea out of curiosity of Fifty Shades of Grey’s character going on and on like a crackhead about the brand. It was awful and tasted like dirt. Sadly it was more expensive than my usual brand of Stash. I can only imagine its due to the author being British. No one’s perfect I suppose and that could explain her choice of taste… they always seem to need to doctor up their teas. Thankfully Stash Tea is less expensive and doesn’t need cream and sugar to keep its deliciousness. They also seem to have an excellent employee in Ms. Amy Osbourne. Paws up to Stash Tea.

This is basically Heaven for tea drinkers. I can’t even describe the kinds of tea you can get here. Basically if you can imagine it, they have it. I went in here on my birthday to look for a tea steeping mug as I had been gifted some loose tea. I went a little nuts. They have sampler packs for $ 2 so I grabbed a metric ton of those. They have two whole walls of every kind of mug you could ever need. Really cute ones like owls and cats and dogs and then sophisticated travel mugs too. I found a $ 32 Bodum tea press for $ 9 in their clearance section completely brand new. They also carry the Stash holiday teas year round so if you need Peppermint tea or Gingerbread tea in June, here’s the place to go. They have really unique dessert teas as well. I picked up 4oz of a Smores tea that was so delicious. I usually scoff at dessert teas because the black tea they use makes them not tasty at all but I would drink this stuff by the gallon if I could. Seriously best tea store in Tigard area. Forget Teavana at the mall where they will upsell on crap you don’t need and push really expensive teas on you. Stash has been around a lot longer and has tea that is much better with better prices. The staff was laid back and offered to help, but backed off when I didn’t need it. If you drink tea or know someone who does you should just go there. it’s hard to describe the amazingness of this store in words. You really have to go in there and see and smell all the goodies to get the effect.

There is something about tea that reminds me of potato chips, you can’t have just one. I grew up in Kentucky, where sweet tea was a staple. As I got older I got rid of the sugar and now can’t drink sweetened tea at all, and every tea has to be iced. I have been in too many tea shops to count now, but Stash is a good one. I fell in love with a tea in Canada and came to Stash when I got home to see if I could find it or something similar. They had it and so much more. I have been in here a couple of times now, and they always are helpful and try to find you what you are looking for. I like the little tea sample packs they have put out, because it gives me a reason to take home just ONE more.

Considering that my understanding of Stash tea leads me to picture shrink-wrapped boxes of mediocre bagged tea, the store had me pleasantly surprised. It’s a bit of a drive from Portland proper, but I had a Livingsocial deal and a hankering for tea. I was definitely impressed. The store packs in a good amount of merchandise — along with the requisite bagged tea, it has a great selection of loose leaf tea of all varieties, including plenty of green teas and herbal blends. The prices are quite reasonable, considering that Stash has the Tao of Tea to contend with. To complement the teas, Stash carries a good assortment of pots(ceramic, cast iron), mugs(ceramic, portable) and other assorted brewing accouterments. Prior to visiting the store, I didn’t think the company was a great contender in the wide world of tea — well played, Stash, well played.

Well, I was expecting what everyone else was expecting. Boxes of tea and maybe some accessories. They have over 200 different kinds of Loose Leaf as well as boxes. The store keeper was very knowledgeable on the products, and gave me a tour of the types of teas. Even brewed some teas that weren’t on the menu for the day. Prices are $ 7.50−10.00 for 100 gram bag or 3.5 oz. Depending on the type or brand. Some of the Teas are in the upper $ 20’s. You can get a half bag as well(50g) for half the price. I’ve been to Teavanna and they are really over priced compared to here.

Stash Tea and I have a funny history. For years I’ve been drinking their standard teas since it is stocked in my company coffee bar(hello Jasmine tea). And one thing you must understand about me is that I just love free stuff and coupons. It is a sickness sometimes. Well, about five years ago, I participated in their Bed & Breakfast offer( ) which is still an ongoing promotion. Mail in a few UPC codes and get a certificate for a free night’s stay at select B&Bs if you pay for a consecutive night. Well, I used the certificate to stay at a place in Long Beach, WA(long since gone) that was the WORST B&B I’ve ever seen. At the time, I told my husband, «This is where bad taste went to die.» So even though this really has nothing to do with the quality of Stash’s product, I would have flashbacks when I saw their boxes. Enter coupon #2. Stash Tea’s headquarters is in Tigard, close to the Bridgeport Shopping Center. I saw a coupon in The Oregonian for 20% off tea purchases and thought it would be the perfect place to find a gift for Mother’s Day(to go with the Strand Tea Tiger I already purchased for mom). I walked in the store and was astounded. They don’t just have the basic bagged teas, but a huge assortment of loose leaf teas. The retail store is gorgeous and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They have tea pots, tea towels and all sorts of related items. They even sell the Strand Tea Tiger — seriously, get one, they are amazing! The kitchen area has samples of teas and cookies you can enjoy while you shop and all of the loose leaf teas have sample jars so you can take in the aroma to help you with your decision. So Stash has totally been redeemed in my eyes as a classy joint. I might even give the B&B promotion another try, but I’ll do a better job of checking out the place before staying there. Shockingly enough you can’t believe everything you see on the internet. :-)
