I love Coach products but… the employees in this particular store are snotty! I have been to and purchased from Coach stores in different states(Nevada, California) and have had great experiences. But when I went to the Washington Square Coach, after a hike at Tryon Park, I was treated like gutter trash. I wasn’t stinky, made sure to freshen up first, though my attire may have been a bit on the relaxed side. Nonetheless I should not have been treated like I was unwanted in their store. It’s not like Coach is an expensive brand name(middle of the road), there are much more expensive, high end brands out there. Get a clue, ladies at W. S. Coach. You might be surprised how many of us «regular folk» can afford your wares.

Shout out to Tai(sp?) from the Washington Square Coach store. I had a TERRIBLE experience over the span of 2 hours with Coach’s corp. customer service reps( ) before calling the Portland store and speaking with the store employees and manager, Tai. She honored the price I paid online and waved the shipping since I had qualified for it when I first made my purchase. I’m now expecting my coat to arrive tomorrow. Thank, Tai!

Pretty simple… purses from Coach make my wife HAPPY! Everytime I’ve visted the store the employees are always happy to help, never to pushy. As a guy it helps to get the right perspective so I do enjoy them helping answering any questions. Make sure you give your information, I’ve recieved two 25% off coupons the last couple years and it makes buying the purses a little more managable. They seem to have more and more guy stuff but I personally can’t see myself buying something from there at those prices.

Full disclosure, in the late 1990’s I worked at this location and haven’t been back much since. I went into the store this evening mostly because Coach was offering a 25 percent off coupon for their full priced retail stores. This is the first time Coach has ever done this. I thought maybe I would find something I had to have or had to give. I walked in and they were busy but not crazy busy. I was invisible I circled the store twice and no one caught my eye. Which as it turned out was fine as there was nothing there up to the quality I was used to seeing in the 1990’s Coach stores. For one thing they have quit making most of their products in the USA. One of the ways we could always tell in the old days that a Coach bag was«not authentic»(read fake) was the location where it was made. If it wasn’t make in the USA it was deemed«not authentic». Now many of their bags are made in China and other countries so it’s harder and harder to tell what is or is not authentic. I miss the days of the Coach Leatherware Classics. They still make them, however, it doesn’t appear that they carry any in this store. You can still buy them online. Maybe that’s where I need to go in the future. I might try it again but it will be a while.
