Never been to a Burgerville before but we were really surprised at how good our food was. I got a seasoned turkey burger and husband got a tillamook cheeseburger and we shared a large fries and all was just the way it should be. Tasted homemade. Fresh and very good flavor. I liked their menu items, a little more varied than usual. Haven’t tried the asparagus fries or shakes yet but heading there right now…

Greeted at the door by a smiling young man. We talked while I waited to order. He has been with Burgerville for 3 years at this location. He likes his job. I made my order for two adults.(2) Burgers,(1) small french fry,(1) milkshake and(1) ice tea. The price was rather high, but we were hungry. The food was good. We will come back.

I was told they have good shakes, so we went here for lunch. The crispy chicken sandwich was terrible. I literally couldn’t even bite through it… it was tough and stringy. Nasty! The fries were tasteless. We got shakes and they were nothing special. We won’t go to Burgerville again.

I am SO done with this location. All of their other ones are fine, but the Burgerville executives should probably pay attention to this one a little more. Food is always wrong when I go through the drive-thru. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to go back. I now check every order before leaving. Today, my fries were literally thrown into my bag, and I think they forgot to put about ½ of my fry order in there! It was around a child-sized portion I’m just done with the lack of service, and inconsistency of this location. We will not be going to this location, even though they are a 5 min drive from our house. I will venture further to go to the Carmen Drive location where they are always rock stars.

Had to go to the post office to mail Christmas gifts and the Tigard Burgerville was on the way home. It’s a small regional chain and the Tillamook cheeseburger & small fries hit the spot. even though my fries were cold. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food out to your table. All the employees were friendly and the restaurant was clean. All veggies are locally grown — I’ll be back to try the tempura asparagus in the spring — the meat is antibiotic-free and bacon is nitrate-free, and they advertise hand-crafted milkshakes and frozen yogurt as well. The menu is quite varied: Alaskan halibut fish & chips, chicken strips, salads, desserts, basically something for everyone. Prices are pretty standard too.

Very poor service. They didn’t have fries ready for us which is ridiculous considering this is a burger joint. When we did get them, after having to remind them that we needed them still, they were cold. I was so disappointed in this location, and embarrassed when I recommended Burgerville to friends. I guess I should specify that Burgerville is great, JUSTNOTTHETIGARDLOCATION! This is the Iraq of Burgervilles… I will NEVER go to this location again.

Not normal at Burgerville. But I came in and was second in line and 6 to 7 employees working and was waiting over a minute and then the guy in line left. I finally asked if anybody was helping out front. Then the girl runs to the back and told someone. As he is coming to the front he had to finish chewing his food. Lol. I finally get my food and the dining room is a mess. I went to the cleanest table I could find and then I had to brush all the salt off first. So that’s when I decided to pull out the Unilocal. It’s too bad that our young people don’t have customer service skills anymore. It’s too bad that they have that many employees and can’t keep the dining room clean and someone up front to great people. Burgerville is more expensive, takes longer to get food, but the food is good, so my suggestion is hire more people and charge more, that will solve everything. Just kidding. I go to Burgerville and pay more for the food because it’s worth it but tonight I wish I had Chinese food.

After personally greeting me as I entered the door, Christian made a delicious turkey club sandwich and hot, tasty shoestring fries to order. Amazing customer service made my entire day. I’ll definitely be back:) Thank you!

The guy at the register was friendly, but after a ten minute wait, they brought us the wrong sandwich, a shake instead of a smoothie, and tiny chicken strips. I’m used to better from one of my favorite restaurants.

This is the nicest sit down burgerville you will find. The people are very nice and they bus your tables. The fries are always cold and stale though. I’ve chatted with management about it in the past but it hasn’t changed. I would still go here over the other locations because the atmosphere is the best and the employees are really great

This location is a little fancier on the inside than others. They were very friendly but there was not one clean table at 7:30pm on a Sunday. They also forgot to deliver my shake with my food. As others have said, the food was just ok. Definitely not on par with my experiences at other BV locations.

Quality is consistent, with good ingredients used, staff always extremely friendly, restaurant always clean, but it is impossible to get a satisfying lunch here for less than $ 10 if you have any kind of appetite, and even then portions of meat entrees like chicken or fish strips are miniscule. This is just too expensive for what is still modest portions of fast food classics. And take a family of five with growing teenagers here? Forget it. Five Guys a much better value proposition for a great non-sit-down burger experience, although I think Burgerville’s principles are good overall and I hope they stay in business.

My lemonade took 10 minutes… I was standing in front of the counter and I saw my order on their screen, it was the first one but the workers decided to do the harder to make drinks that were ordered after mines. I had to ask one of the workers to make my drink because she was just standing around looking at the screen and wasn’t even doing anything. So she said«oh…sorry» and she didn’t even fill it to the top. I also got fries, they were pretty stale. Never going back to this burger like again.

Please help me understand why burgerville cannot get an order right? They forget the cheese, they give me a single patty when I order a double, they forget the dipping sauce, they over charge me… I never ever go through the drive thru cause I just end up back in the restaurant. It’s not just Tigard but every one I have been to. Why do I keep coming back? For fast food it has great choices like turkey burgers, fresh salads and seasonal stuff like berry shakes. If you want a big burger don’t come here, they ran it over in the parking lot before they put it in the bun. Please burgerville, you have so much going for you but your service is severely lacking… Always nice but frequently incorrect.

This was my first tasting at a Burgerville. I’ve been reading/hearing about this little NW institution since moving here in ’12 – Definately worth the stop. Being late spring, the fried asparagus spears were on the menu — and wow! I could have eaten 3 servings and just skipped the burger. I LOVE with a capital-L fresh asparagus. And what a novel change of pace from fried potatoes or onios! The«crust» was tissue thin — and the asparagus was still steaming as I bit into it! My burger was good. Excellent beef. Tillamook cheese. Pepper bacon. tangy slice of tomato — crunchy lettuce. All the ingredients were there — But — A tad on the cool side, but not so much as to call it cold. Just not the piping-hot burger I’d have preferred. I ate in the restaurant — and just the trip from the kitchen to my table was enough to take the hot edge off my sandwich. I also tried one of their milkshakes. I’ve been hearing great things about these shakes — and yes. It’s true. Great shakes. My strawberry shake had real, recognizable strawberries. This is the regional burger — from the small-farm raised veggies and antibiotic-free meats, to the hand crafted shakes and the nitrate-free bacon.

Best Burgerville location! Burgers and fries are always served warm.

Why can’t burgerville get food hot? New location in Tigard. This is like the one in Canby. Same cold food and seems like smaller burgers? Anyone else? The place is clean and folks were nice. Lots of competitors close by.

If you’re like me, you read the previous reviews and thought, «Gee! Why so harsh Unilocalers?» But then I actually went into this location, and as it turns out, the Unilocalers were right. There is something distinctly different about this Burgerville. We have had a number of instances now where we have been rung up wrong, or they forgot to swipe our gift card and in general, it’s pretty darn expensive. Now I know the high cost is kind of just a Burgerville thing, but the prices here seem high even for a Burgerville. The food is usually pretty good, but nothing mind blowing. The staff seems particularly uninspired which is a shame because its a beautiful little burger joint. After several trips, I much prefer the Lake Oswego location.

Back in the 80’s I came to Portland by way of Alaska and went to a B Ville — you know, the one that is still out on Canyon Road — and enjoyed a huge bag of tasty fries for cheap, plus a halfway decent burger and a fun attitude. I left Oregon and came back in the early 2000’s and went to B Ville and it was not quite as good as I remembered, but they had interesting seasonal items and a nice vintage soda fountain feeling. In the last few years my less frequent visits to B Ville have to do with quality, size and pricing. They are hit and miss on quality, stores aren’t as ‘fresh’ and prices are on the high side, when the quality isn’t always high side. FForward to this year(2012). I have gone to my new Tigard Burgerville(3 times) to see how they’re doing. This is a brand new store and it does have a much trendier and fresher feel than the others. I appreciate that. On the negative side, the location has some issues with parking as it there is a bunch of confusing arrows that require you to drive on the wrong side in order to navigate their parking lot. 1st visit we ordered two fruit shakes & paid(somewhere near $ 5 each)!! We then sat down and checked the twitter feed/display(it’s kinda neat — once). We counted at least 6 employees in this shoe box sized store! That was super weird. Given all the help it sure seemed like a very long wait for a couple of shakes. They did bring them to our tables. And then we tucked in. Guess what? They were absolutely amazingly average. Not that much fresh fruit taste, not that creamy and not that generous of a size given the price. Days go by, I bring my son(before was hubby) and we have a couple of shakes and an order of Walla Walla onion rings. Same thing — slow to arrive, average, spendy and the onion rings weren’t as good as many other places that my son and I have had lately(see Blitz on 99W — tasty and tons of them) and they are just stingy with them. Gee, how much do you charge for 3 onion rings? And breading? Is it that hard to make a fresh onion ring??? You should be ashamed of yourselves. So, third visit rolls around and this time I go for the tiny sundae thingy and my hubby gets a burger. Blah and blah. I wish that the reasons I first like B Ville weren’t just memories — big bags of fries, reasonable value and great service.
