I always have a hard time finding someone who can do BLONDE well. Most stylists give warm, orange-​y foils. I like a cool blonde. Star does a great job! And her prices are reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone!

I’m extremely picky with my hair I’ve only had a handful of people I’ve let touch my hair over the years so I think that says a lot! Trusting someone with your hair is scary and I completely trust Star. She totally listens to what you want and never disappoints! I also drive all the way from Oxnard just to see her :)

I moved to the area about 2.5 years ago, and I decided it was finally time to find a hair stylist down here (I used to get my hair done up in Norcal). I was referred to Star by a friend, and it was the best decision I could’ve made. I have to admit I did look through her instagram pictures of previous clients beforehand, and yes, it only confirmed that she was going to do an amazing job.
I have really straight, fine hair, and so I’m really picky about how my hair is cut. Even the smallest mistake could look really obvious. I had my first appointment with Star about a month ago, and I prepared beforehand by taking screenshots of a couple pictures of what I was hoping to transform my hair into: a shorter mid-​length from what I had, with texture and movement, and layers. I was surprised (and really excited) when Star recognized the pictures I was showing her, and I knew she was going to do a great job on my hair.
She took her time cutting and styling, and it turned out amazing. She listened openly to what I wanted, and really made sure that she was cutting my hair the way I wanted. She was professional, and still super chill and friendly that it was easy to talk to her throughout the entire appointment.
I am definitely going back, and I would definitely recommend Star to anyone else. She took such good care of my hair! She is amazing!

Star is an amazing colorist! She is very knowledgable with blondes and keeps all the current styles and tends in mind! I love my color, cut, and style each time! Her prices are extremely affordable and she checks in to see how your hair and color are doing well after your appointment. Can’t say enough, fabulous stylist!

Star is amazing at what she does. I’ve never been so happy with my hair color. She gave me the most beautiful balayage and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to my dark hair. She’s incredible!

Star is my go to girl. The only person ive ever trusted experimenting with my hair. Her vibes ate sp real and genuine that she makes the whole experience feel at home. I connected with her instantly which was the cherry on top of her BEAUTIFUL work. I came to her with orange blotchy hair and she transformed my hair in so many ways! So I’m very picky when it comes to my hair, this is my second time doing a color treatment to it and I LOVED IT. The first time was a horrible experience and my hair was really damaged. I decided to go to star because of all her great work i had seen on her social media page. I went for a darker green and I absolutely love the color and the way my hair has been feeling. For starters, it doesn’t feel fried or frizzy. I’ve gone back to star to get a color redo & I just enjoy her hospitality. Would definitely recommend her to everyone!
