Dr Zapf is so kind and patient. He removed an ingrown nail from my big toe. I would totally recommend him. The office staff were kind as well.

I want to first say my fusion surgery went perfectly. I do have 2 issues with the office. 1. I had a minor issue causing the need for a pad or orthotics. I ordered a pair of orthotics unbenost to me that they were $ 420. When I went to pick them up is when I was given the notice I was being charged the $ 420. With a deposit if $ 150 and they would refund what was left after my insurance. took care.of their part. The front office knew my insurance would. not cover any of it prior to my ordering them. They are also useless because they don’t help even after dr. zapf added a cushioned pad. When I told dr. zapf my problem with the paper work he tried at first to show me the form I signed to which I pointed out when I was given the form. He said he would refund my money. At this point I had paid $ 250. I wrote a letter explaining again what was my issue. I have yet to receive a response or my money refunded to me. That was a couple months ago. My surgery was on Jan 14th and I did try the orthotics foe a could weeks with no help l. 2. Is neither the nurse or doctor told me that they rented the knee chair nor the crutches. I purchased my own crutches. After telling the nurse on my post op visit that I had fallen and I was obviously having problem using the.cruthes. She still did not make me aware they had them. Dr.zapf is a very nice man and a great podiatrist. I am saying the office Staff should be more efficient. I also feel he should honor what he said and refund my money.

Beautiful new office in Agoura Hills. There is a lot more parking than the old location. I had never had the joy of experiencing an ingrowing toenail(sarcasm) but Dr. Zapf was able to take care of the nail within 20 minutes! I was so scared but his assistant was able to calm me down by telling me how she had the same problem just a few weeks prior. She is terrific. I barely felt the injection(they use a nifty«freeze spray») and the tiny sliver but very problematic piece of nail was removed. Who knew I would be so excited to share my ingrowing nail story.

Love Dr. Zapf. Not only is he very friendly but so is Rachel. They both have an amazings sense of humor and really listen to you as the patient. This visit was for my 7 yr old. I had mentioned to Dr. Zapf during my last visit that my son has flat feet and occasionally complains about feet pain. He gave me his email address so that i can email him pictures of my sons feet. Rachel took the time to teach me how to properly take the pictures. I couldnt believe that this doctor was kind enough to ask for pictures instead of telling me to set a consultation visit. I truly appreciate thst instead of just taking my money on a consult he checked the pictures and emaiked me his professional opinion. As it turns out my son does need orthotics. I will write an uodate as soon as he starts wearing his custom made orthotics, but for now I highly recommend Dr. Zapf for any of your feet issues.

Complete waste of time. Don’t bother emailing zfootdoc. Wrote a thorough email with multiple clear photos, asking a simple question, this was his reply. «They are strange red spots. What did your dermatologist or podiatrist think?» I responded and never received a response. I was simply seeking his ‘expertise’ as a 2nd opinion. Would strongly encourage others to seek alternatives.

I had a Bunionectomy with a bone cut 7 weeks ago. I have been told that this surgery has a painful recovery period by many who have had it done. Dr. Zapf was great before, during and after surgery. He is very caring and thorough. My pain was minimal and easily managed. Recovery was much easier than I thought. It has been 7 weeks and my foot feels great. I even went on a 3 mile hike yesterday. No pain then and no pain now. Thanks Dr. Zapf!!!
