I am constantly buying clothes for myself and my two daughters. I am never quite sure what they will like or how things will fit so I do return a lot of items. I have gone to both the Thousand Oaks store and the Topanga store. I HAVEHADWONDERFULCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I always have my receipts and they are always polite and helpful. They have never made me feel uncomfortable returning clothing. Also, whenever I am in the stores, there is someone happy to find another size for me when I’m in the dressing room.

Terrible customer service here. I went to return an item after 2 days of purchasing because it was too short and I was told I had to call a number to make sure I could return it. I called the number just to have some guy, who hadn’t even seen the item, call the store and say it’s okay to return it. What a waste of time and a stupid policy. And it didn’t help that they were all rude in the store. This location just lost a customer.

In general I’m OK with the clothing styles at Express and this review is specifically written about the actual Thousand Oaks store location from the men’s clothing prospective, which to be quite honest, isn’t very good. The men’s apparel is only a tiny fraction of the actual store and the selection pretty much sucks. You’ll never find anything interesting when you go in as the inventory is mostly limited to things like solid colored polos and dress shirts and maybe a couple suits. Other locations will have an entire table of graphics tees and this one has about 5 shirts. If you’re a guy and you actually want to buy something from Express I’d recommend just going to a different location first.

About a week ago maybe 2 my husband and I went into express men to find some work shirts for him. The gentleman who helped us exceeded out expectations from an express store. Usually of we ask for help people will just point to what we ask for. However, everytime we took notice into something he would check for the size and double check incase we missed it. He always found what we were looking for. My husband asked if they carried bowties he rite away went out of his way to look in a pile of ties socks bow ties and underwear and searched for bow ties. My husband of course bought them all. He talked to my husband about different fits in pants ect. We dont remember his name but know his uncle rides harley davidsons. I believe he had shoulder length brown hair. We live closer to the ventura express but will be shopping at the T. O express because of him! We really want to thank you for the help and wonderfull costumer service.

I recently started shopping at Express. So far I liked their product. However, this store in The Oaks Mall has a very rude store manager named Jerry. The rest of the staff seems to be very courteous and helpful. I feel sorry for them if they have to answer to this manager. This was the second time that I encountered my experience with Jerry. Instead of being helpful on ordering a size that they didn’t have at the store, he was directing to other stores. As the store manager, I expected Jerry to assist me in locating the item either online or the next closest store. It is not the customer’s job to locate for the store that has the item.
