Location is extremely sketchy and scary. My wife and kids were in the car for 10 minutes while I was inside and during that time a man was begging for money at the car window. After being turned away a few minutes later another man came up from behind the vehicle(a mini van), and starting stabbing the back tire with a knife. My wife screamed and the man walked off calmly. Mind you this was on a Friday in the middle of the day, broad daylight with other shoppers/people around. Don’t visit this location — drive to another further north that is in a safer area.

Good store but the area is scary and ghetto. Every times I’ve gone there has been people begging for cigs and money. Last time I was there a drunk was walking around screaming at everyone. Also I think it’s stupid they have the two door divided so you have to walk around to get out or to get to the cashier. just goes to show how bad it is that they have to trap and confuse the thieves I have not seen any other Walgreen like it.

Pretty much like the rest of ‘em, but with a few things that really stood out: 1. This location is not 24 hour. 2. You can tell you’re in a borderlined sketchy part of town(or worse?), because the cashiers make you leave your backpack and anything else you’re carrying at the front of the store upon entering. This is the only Walgreens location in the world I’ve ever had to do this at. Nope, it wasn’t even a requirement in Downtown Reno or Detroit… 3. The cashier on duty who was telling everyone in line about how she was proud to have a non-addictive personality didn’t really float my boat, particularly the part about how«Yah, I used to shoot up with my boyfriend and stopped once I left him…» Who cares, dopey lady? 4. No trash cans outside anywhere on the premises. On the up side, I caught an awesome deal on a new pair of flip flops. I was really surprised Walgreens had them, especially at this time of the year, and in my size.
