Stopped in for dinner on the way up to Fort Collins from Denver. Worked out great! My 94 year old father in law loved his eggplant parmesan sandwich, both at dinner and at lunch the next day since he doesn’t eat a foot of dinner. My wife and I ordered the Cattleman’s pizza — basically a cheesesteak pizza. Really good! And also good for lunch since the 18-incher was plenty for 3. Love to see the 25-incher! The guy running the place was really nice — offered to let us stay late to finish watching the basketball game. Definitely recommended.

Pizza– Step up above Abbos. The pepperoni and cheese were quality ingredients. Sauce was fresh though kind of watery not like thicker sweet tomato paste I was hoping for. But the pizza is ok. Crust was ok, not as thin as I was hoping for. The pepperoni Pizza gets a B– Cheesecake– As a start I will say, I am a super cheesecake snob. This was the best cheesecake I’ve had in Colorado and I’ve lived here for 3 years. Not too sweet, perfect thickness, Crust was moist though(bleh) I prefer NO crust like many traditional NY cheesecakes. I only wish they added whipped cream on it. I also would love if the cake had some fresh lemon peel I think it would help complete the taste. But other than that this cheesecake gets a solid A from me. Cannoli– I love how they included pistachio, though I only wish they add that to their description to warn those with nut allergies. Overall, I’d maybe come back for the cheesecake.

I’m actually surprised by the overall great reviews. I’ve only had the pizza here, so I can’t speak to the other menu items. It’s just ok. Kinda heavy on some of the spices, and just non-impressive. Best part is the crust. I’ve had it twice, but there won’t be a third. The guys that work there are very friendly, and the service was great, however.

First off, if you’ve read my reviews, you probably know I tend to chase after food that I had when I was younger, that left an indelible impression in my mind, and I’ve been searching for it ever since. So it is with the Italian sausage sub. The best ones I ever had were from a place in Gunbarrel, Boulder, called Angelo’s, and they were HUGE, cut out of an Italian loaf, FULL, FAT link of juicy, spicy, homemade sausage, a touch of marinara sauce, peppers & onions, LOADED w/mozzarella, oven-baked until the cheese was golden brown and the bread crispy. Now THAT was a sandwich! Too bad the place closed years ago. These guy’s attempt was a sliced-up and grilled piece o’ sausage, slapped on a skinny sub roll, a smattering of some cheese, peppers and onion, no marinara. Nothing to jump up and down about, and certainly nothing to transport me back to the halcyon days of my youth, when everything was apparently better. And what gets me, no side of chips, not even a pickle slice! This sandwich was $ 8.95, come on, you guys can’t spring for the tiny bag o’ chips and a slice of dill? What I got felt a lot more like a $ 3.95 sandwich, and that’s what Angelo’s BOMB, TO-DIEFOR sub cost back in the day. I dunno, the pizza looked good, and my wife got an Italian cold-cut sub that looked OK, although it had no lettuce, tomato OR pickle and chips! I will try to give this place another shot, maybe the pizza will change my mind about them. I’ll let ya know.

Th slices are HUGE! So lesson learned, I only needed to order one slice. I think the cheese slices could use a little less Italian seasoning on it, but once I got used to it, it was pretty darn good(I’m not going to knock off a star because of a simple preference like that). The husband loved the pepperoni with pineapple, and the supreme. I love a good pizza by the slice shop.

Swung into Richie B’s yesterday for a slice on my way to get a haircut with my BF. Sure glad we did because it is hard to find quality by-the-slice options around this part of town. I thought the guys behind the counter were nice, the place was clean and tidy, and the pizza was A+. Also, about 3 tables were sitting when we entered, with two coming after us for a total of six in the course of 30 mins on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm. I think that’s a good sign. The pizza’s flavor is rich in herbs and slightly heavy in oregano. But by far the crust is the best part. Perfect NY style slices with crisp yet flavorful and doughy crust. Yum! Will be back!

My family tried this place based on a large number of good reviews and claims of «New York Style». It is similar to the Anthony’s chain but not near as good. The place has New York themes on the wall but it ends there. Whoever thinks this is «New York» style must have never been there. It was covered with low quality greasy cheese. The worst part was some kind of dried cheese/spice/oregano/garlic salt that was shaken all over the top. It was reminiscent of Marie Calendars frozen Italian dishes. Ahhhh Boooooooo.

I read the recent reviews and still decided to give Richie B’s a try… Don’t think I will again. It’s unfortunate because it is one of the few restaurants in the area that could fill the void of quick, quality food service. I will say they were pretty quick to fill the order but that was because no one was eating at the restaurant. That was a red flag for me when I pulled up to get the pizza. The Pizza looks good, smells good but it’s bland. I got a good amount of food for the price, however, for the same price point I could get the same quantity(maybe more) of a better quality pizza. I hate to not support local business because I think they have a great setup but they have missed on the execution. I hope they find a way to bring the quality back because I don’t see them sticking around if they unable to do so. Good luck Richie B’s!

So we come in here frequently, and honestly the pizza and service has always been fantastic, but the last two times have been less than stellar. Before tonight, we had ordered three pizzas and all three were over cooked. Burnt crust and the cheese was scorched, but still decided to come back since we figured it was an isolated incident. Tonight was not good. We ordered pepperoni and pineapple which is a speciality there. We received a pepperoni only pizza that was cold, dry, and extremely disappointing. This tasted like it had been reheated a couple of times. This is frustrating because we love this place, but it seems that if the owners aren’t around the quality suffers severely. I’m sad to say, it’s questionable as to whether or not we’ll come back.

Mediocre everytime. Yesterday the pizza slices my son and I had weren’t even hot. Just warm. Cheese wasn’t melted. I asked for no olives on salad and got a handful. Eh.

How much do you have to change? I have gone in for the first time in about 6 months, literally everything has changed. The pizza crust is like a dried out cracker, super crunchy and no flavor. There is no more garlic oil or parmesan on the pizza. The veggies are over salted. The French fries have gone from something I have never tasted before to the most generic overcooked strings. The atmosphere is no longer warm and cheerful but instead full of employees who seem like they do not want to work there. Figure it out Richie B’s, get back to what you used to be.

First time eating here. Daughter had the Philly cheesesteak which was really good. Also had the eggplant Parmesan sandwich. And we tried a single cheese slice. Good enough taking 2 cheesesteaks home wife and kids who are tough critics being from Philly.

Great quick pizza place we stopped at on our way home from shopping in Westminster. It was late but customer service was still amazing. Food was fresh and hot and tasted great. Definitely get the pastrami sandwich with hot mustard and sauerkraut with a side of fries! Delicious!

This was an email I sent but have not heard anything from the store! Very unusual for them! Today we decided to have some yummy Richie B’s. As regulars we already knew what we wanted to eat. Myself and teenage daughter purchased a Philly steak sandwich which had very little meat, very over toasted buns, and very dry! My son loves your pizza but today I could barely cut it because it was so hard. The young men working were very pleasant but I think the new video games had more of their attention as they had a customer walk in and stand at your register waiting for them to finish with the game! We love your food but today it was far from great.

Just unbelievable. This is exactly what you want or of an independent pizza place. It’s like eating in New York, simply the best. The sauce was nice and light with fresh cheese and foldable slices. I stopped in on the way back to Denver and this would be worth the drive even if it was well out of your way.

As a NJ native with Brooklyn roots visiting CO for the first time I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about trying pizza/Italian food so far from home — but I couldn’t have been happier with Richie B’s! I had the Italian sub and also tasted my boyfriend’s Italian sausage sub — both were delicious and reminded me of being back home! The place was clean and organized, and the staff was so down to earth and friendly. A great experience overall and I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know back east!
