Had to go out of town and needed bags quick. The service was great and the owner was very helpful. I really felt like they were not just trying to sell me a bag, but were trying to find what I needed.

Stopped into Bag’n Baggage today with the intention of just looking around. Ended up finding a nice leather briefcase /messenger bag that I decided to buy. We were at the counter ready to checkout and they got a call from a higher up or something saying they needed to reset their system. First off that’s a genius idea to reset your system during business hours. Second, instead of first saying«we have a customer ready to check out» they went ahead and reset the system. I could have handled this if it would have been a minute or two but roughly 10 – 12 minutes later we are still standing there. Meanwhile the cracksquad behind the counter just sat and looked at the screen with one guy propped up on the counter swinging his legs. They said sorry, sort of, and finally called the guy back and told him we were still waiting and sure enough he said«just close it we will do it later». WOW who would have thought getting money was more important than a system tweak which could have been done after work. We still ended up buying the bag because it was the exact style I wanted but I can now see why that store never has people in it.

Made out of parachutes lol. Cool Tumi Travel Gear, Travel accessories, little pricey but I’ve had one for awhile and they last.

This was a TERRIBLE experience. Went in as it appeared it was the only Tumi store on the north side of Houston. It is ONLY for 30 more days thank goodness. The sales GUY who never acknowledged me while I waited ignored when many of the easy rollers would roll off display, and just let customers pick them up. Obviously easy for it to happen. The manager or lady who appeared to be the manager was nice enough and making up for service. Then when I realized they can not even compete with the service of Tumi I received and immediate«we don’t make money on shipping or sending tumi’s back». Well that’s fine… but just be upfront it wont be the same service as Tumi. ONLYATTHISTIME the little snotty sales guy acknowledged me only to say«no one ships defective bags back at their cost». I replied«really…well Tumi does, and it makes more sense that the store would absorb that cost then the customer that got the defective product don’t you think?» His reply was«well go to Tumi… good luck its in the Galleria». What neither of them realized is along with a minor fix that Tumi would have paid for, they lost a sale of a $ 1,000 suitcase because of the way the handled the situation. It was all over only $ 22, but the attitude was terrible. Don’t plan to buy a high end quality suit case here. It comes at the same price as the Tumi store, but without any of the service or options. When you have a problem, you might as well call a Tumi store to resolve then to bother going. Luckily the Woodlands is getting a Tumi Store in June/July 2013!!!

Just moved to The Woodlands from the Uptown area(aging!), and started coming here for my travel needs after years of shopping at their sister store The Houston Trunk Factory in the Galleria. Service is just as good, if not better, and they had everything I needed. They were especially helpful with my Tumi repair. I’m comforted knowing I don’t have to drive all the way into town to take care of my Tumi. As a frequent traveler, that is one less hassle I have to deal with. Update: They also seem to have a very good selection of Rimowa. Read about it in Travel and Leisure and decided to pick one up because I just needed a lighter suitcase. You’ve got to keep trying new things, I guess.
