Reba Farm Inn

The short story: A VERY disappointing experience. Rude, condescending «cowboy» owner ruins a special bachelorette party event.
The longer story: Communication was poor throughout the scheduling process (except when providing the credit card number initially). Ron, the owner, arrived 20 minutes late and used harsh language and condescending tones towards the group. He blamed the group for not reading an e-​mail (that was never sent) and stated that no one ever read his e-​mails and therefore does not follow his instructions. When we expressed we did not appreciate his language or tone, he said he was a «cowboy» and said he «called things as I see them». He also complained about not receiving a confirmation phone call. When I offered that I could pull a record of the phone calls and times I left voicemail messages to confirm the trail ride that went unanswered, he told me he was uninterested in viewing these records and that I could not admit to being «wrong».
The animals on the farm looked thin and unkempt. Many of the dogs on property were suffering from ticks and mangled claws. All were dirty, which to be fair may just be part of being a country dog. Many friends expressed concern about the condition of the animals.
Overall: This ruined what was supposed to be a very special evening for a dear friend of mine. I would NOT recommend this experience.
