The Dennys on Rancho and Jefferson is seriously the worst of all. Month after month we go for early breakfast and for dinner sometimes too, we always try to order the same chicken sandwich with a creamy pepper sauce and time and time again they never have it, this past weekend we were told it is being discontinued. So I call the one in Murrieta while eating my soup at the Temecula location and am told whoever said that is sitting on a throne of lies. Which made me laugh, Husband and I get up and leave to make our way to Murrieta, omg what a difference, bright, clean and friendly service. word to the wise if your going to dennys head to Murrieta you will not be disappointed.

We walked in and it was very busy for a Saturday evening. Even though there was limited seating they were understanding when we asked to sit with some new friends even though we didn’t even arrive with then and that they didn’t seem to see us when we walked in for a long time! Haha The waitress seemed to be a mind reader when it came to refilling our waters and was SO accommodating I just couldn’t believe. one of our friends made a very unconventional meal request that made us all a little uncomfortable(she asked to replace hash browns with onion rings :/) but the waitress dos not seem to bat an eye! Awkward turtle averted LOL! The food was very hot and tasty. Right as we left I had to use the bathroom and there were two younger people vomiting in there. Thank goodness for Denny’s very large toilet bowls! Definitely an A+ bathroom rating to add to an already great night

Worst staff possible. Get ready to hurry up and wait, that’s what we did. Waited to be greeted, waited to be seated, waited to place our order and waited to see a shred of even the slightest hint of customer service. Our waitress felt it necessary to argue with us about how the cooks made our order wrong which only concludes there is horrible communication between servers and cooks. As well there must be a problem with how the servers dictate their orders from guests. Now that I’ve received my food I enjoy a solid ten minutes staring in wait for my fiancé order, that’s when it arrives and it’s wrong. My food is cold now, it would be rude to eat in front of my fiancé when she has nothing and there’s no way I would share this cold place of soggy nachos. Hire new staff including the manager or shut this place down and bring in a pizza hut. This place is a depressive toxin for the patrons of the community.

TWICE, very disappointing. We had to get up three times to ask for service, after 30 minutes waiting for a waiter it took 30 minutes for food and another 30 minutes for the check. Not one employee smiled or looked like they even wanted to be there. Our waitress literally slung the silverware on the table as she walked by. The interior had signs hung crooked and wires strung on the ceiling like no one cared about the place. I have been to MANYDENNY’S and NEVER like this. The Portions were MUCH smaller then other locations. Just Being Real after having the SAME experience TWICE. And BOTH times my order was wrong.

Slow service and poor Management of employees… The employees were making excuses to running their own food and the Manager was the one doing it because the cooks were«stacking them up» at the window. Thank God at least he was there or nothing would’ve gotten done besides getting our order & $$$ taken… Can’t say that I would visit this location again.

First time going to this particular Denny’s. It was crowded yet I was able to get seated quickly. My waitress ordered my food and had a positive attitude. When my food came to me, it looked half cooked. The food looked like it was just thrown on my plate and it was super greasy. I’ll probably give it one more shot.

I’ve been to this Denny’s twice. The first time I went was because the Denny’s closer to my home was only serving desserts and salad. Mind you, it was 1 in the morning. The closest Denny’s was this one and it was definitely worth the drive because it beats eating at IHOP. I had the T-bone steak and shrimp plate with steamed broccoli with my cousin. It was so good. The steak was cooked exactly how we wanted it. The breeding around the chicken was a little salty but it was still pretty good. I love the people that work here at this late hour. They are so friendly and always check up on you to make sure you are doing alright. They also refill my water before I even realize my glass was empty to begin with. Now that’s great customer service.

Horrible service on this Monday evening. She didn’t come back to check on us once food had been served, something of ours was cooked wrong. I wasn’t even asking for her to do something, just merely informing her and she snapped at me and was extremely rude. During this exchange we had our dirty dishes on the table and a good waitress would have taken them and brought us our check. Instead, we had to wait 15 more minutes after being completely done with our meal and then went to get our checks ourselves. Horrible service, food was mediocre compared to other Denny’s. Save the money and go to the Chinese place across the street.

First off: we’re definitely not the people to write negative reviews, BUTAFTER A HANDFULOFHORRIBLEEXPERIENCES, WEHAVESOLIDIFIEDTHATTHISDENNYSISAWFUL. I feel it’s necessary and fair to write a review for any potential customers of this establishment. – There are 3 seated tables in our section, not busy whatsoever for this side of the restaurant. 12:40pm-seated and brought water 1:10pm –30 minutes into our visit and our waitress by the name of ‘Bea’ seems to have completely forgot about us and hasn’t made eye contact since we were first seated. After trying to flag her down, I walked over to the other side of the restaurant to speak with another waitress. Long story, short we place our order. 1:25pm –Our water has not been refilled since we were seated. We finally receive our meals and have to ask the man bringing out our food, for a water refill. &all the while we have not heard one«I am sorry». obviously, disgusted by our visit and had to leave as soon we could finish. With that experience being one of many, I truly hope the owner or manager of this branch can see this and implement proper training for their workers or proper consequences.

I go to this Denny’s all the time, and it’s honestly one of the best ones I’ve ever been to. It’s unfair to treat Denny’s like they are some high class restaurant and hold them to very high standards, because that is simply not what the restaurant is meant to be. It’s somewhat affordable dining that serves the entire menu all day. This Denny’s makes good food, is pretty clean, and has a mostly upbeat staff. Jesse is the nicest and friendly employee here, if you become a regular he remembers you and what you like. I’ve never had a bad experience here, honestly. The food isn’t going to be incredible, but it is satisfying and good.

This Denny’s is terrible. Dirty and the parking is small. I’ve been here twice and botht times have really been bad experiences. This review is based off of my experience a few moments ago. My husband called in an order for dessert to go. I wanted a brownie with ice cream. The person on the phone said ok. He gets there it isn’t ready. To top it off they offered him an apple crisp in place of the brownie they didn’t have. Why not say that over the phone and what is the purpose of call ahead ordering if 1. The order isn’t ready to pick up 2. You should let people know you do not have the item they ordered. An apple crisp is nothing even close to a brownie. I do not recommend this dump.

The bathroom was plugged up and dirty, and no one was willing to fix it. So maybe the best food ever, but I won’t know.

Seriously the worst service. Out server Araceli seemed to forget everything. Even had to come back to our table to ask what we ordered again. No refills. No napkins. No «how is everything over here» nothing. The reason I gave it a 2 star was because I didn’t want to bag on the food. It is typical Denny food. No complaints. Chicken was good and my son was happy.

Overall I have to say that I wish I could give it less than one star. the food was not good I had a chicken fried steak that was over cooked with a gravy that had zero flavor. The atmosphere is so loud inside the actual restaurant because there’s nothing to absorb sound inside so it is like going to a convention. on top of all that the food actually cost more than Penfolds right across the street that has food that tastes three times better.

There is no many places to eat at 1am in Temecula. Denny is one of them. Food is as good as in any other Denny. not very excited but at 1am pretty good. Especially when munchies occurred

Woke up a little late this morning and had to skip making breakfast at home. Was able to look up this location call ahead my order and pick it up with ease. The server on the phone was very courteous, and took my order correctly. Even offered additional items or a beverage on the side. I ordered a Make-Your-Own consisting of 2x Bacon, Grits and Scrambled Eggs. Came into work and used some of the bread we have hear to toast up and make Breakfast Sandwhiches. Very Friendly. Quick Service. Came in Clutch.

This Denny’s may not be the cleanest compared to the one in Murrieta, but the food hasn’t let me down yet! However, I was pretty annoyed once when we came in a group of 7 for late night breakfast and they wouldn’t honor the free Birthday Grand Slam breakfast for our friend who simply forgot her license! Lame customer service! And since this particular Denny’s is the closest to the hotels on Rancho Cal/Ynez/Jefferson area, it gets PACKED on the weekend mornings. So breakfaster beware, your wait could be up to 45 minutes!
