Tropical Grille Juice

Tried the Thai chicken wrap! It was pretty good it definitely would have won me over if the chicken was grilled better but the peanut sauce was lovely on it and the rice was pretty good as well! The honey dew bubble tea was awesome as always and this is pretty much the only spot you can get a good bubble tea or if any bubble tea in the Downriver area.

One of my favorite spots! Located within Southland Mall this place offers fresh wraps and smoothies that are absolutely delicious. They serve hot and cold wraps. I have tried many of the wraps with my faves being the chicken Caesar wrap and chicken avocado wrap. The smoothies are pretty good too with a nice consistency, not too thick or watered down.
I came here for lunch often when I worked in the area (since 2008) & still drop in occasionally when I’m in the area. The same ladies have been working here all that time (owners perhaps???) and are always pleasant. However, there is usually only one person working the counter and the line oftentimes gets backed up between trying to make smoothies AND wraps. Still worth a little bit of a wait, really.
As a frequent patron, one thing that I wish this place offered was punch cards for those who visit frequently to receive some type of incentive. They used to serve tropical salsa with the chips (comes with wrap), but now only seem to serve traditional salsa with the chips. I miss the tropical salsa dearly. Also they used to serve the multicolored tortilla chips (somebody school me;-), which had a more bland taste that I liked better vs the regular corn tortilla chips that they serve now have too much of a salty taste (or maybe it’s just a change in the brand).
They also offer other items such as chicken/​rice bowl and salad, but I highly recommend a wrap and/​or smoothie!
