As a builder that just built a restaurant in their first floor unit. The place is not quite built with quality in mind. I mean they took short cuts all over the place. The A/Cs worked till the day before we opened. Then they tried to fix it. Their idea of a fix it guy flipped the breaker and said that’s it. I fixed it and left. Well an hour later it still didn’t work. He had nothing to say about that one. We brought in our own guy and he found a burned up A/C fan. He replaced it and we haven’t run this a/c during the build out and Mr. smarty pants thought he had one on us. Once the unit started running so did the water. The drain pan was dry but the ducts were done wrong and the drain was our ceiling grid and tile. I mean we are open with people/customers everywhere. We have to climb into the ceiling and empty buckets of water. How special is that. Oh yea the manager sopped I for some free food I’m sure. But, when she found us emptying buckets she was gone as fast as the water was. We will fix this and we will make them get it right. I guess it is another learning experience and we will overcome and keep on keeping on. Lesson learned and eat more biscuits.

the upside to living in a new place is that everything is new. the problem with living in a new place is that you don’t have the benefit of asking people like me(and tony p. before me) what it’s like to live in this place. nothing has gone right since before they opened — which was a week late. the pool opened months after the building opened. the units are ridiculously small. this is a conveniently locate building — it’s one upside. after that, it is cheap furniture, no paint on the walls, other than a chalky primer that the builder put in. i would stay the heck away from this one. unfortunately, with all of the bad things, there has yet to be a management team brought on who is even a little bit interested in fixing things. we will not be renewing — and i’m guessing that there are a lot of residents in our shoes.

This is a crappy managed company. The place looks great but once you sign the lease they will be your worst nightmare. I am not renewing for my FSU student and nephew. From the corporate office in Texas this place smells of unprofessional incompetence. They tow vehicles that have stickers on them and then extort $ 175 to get your vehicles back. They never finished construction and had students move in to pay full price for their units without any of the amenities that were advertised. Promised to give the students $ 200 gift cards to local merchants in exchange for the on finished structure. Never came through. they charge a very high dollar amount per square foot for rentals in the Tallahassee area. They say they earned this because of the luxurious amenities and the utmost professional staff. In my opinion I am sorry they do not have any thing professional about them. They have gone through 2 management companies since August and the 2nd worst than the first. Ms. Kasey Jones is the latest manager of the week and she is not exception to this negative cloud on this place. She should should not even be managing a trailer park in Little Rock let alone at pricey«luxury» place like this!
