This is a quaint establishment owned by the people who have the branch. They have some great gelato in a hot day. The staff is very congenial. The only down side is that it is not very handicapped accessible. If they would work on that, product knowledge, and customer service skills, this establishment could take off further than where it is now.

This is an «Italian» restaurant? Seriously, a gelato shop that heats up slices of pizza in a toaster oven. I stopped here because I needed a quick lunch and I didn’t want fast food. I make pizza crust and sauce from scratch at home, and this place claimed to have the same. The pizza slice tasted like the crust was from a biscuit mix, sauce was tasteless(and not entirely warm) and I’m pretty sure the«Pepperoni» was fake. My side salad looked appetizing until I realized the top layer was spinach and green leaf lettuce but underneath was white iceberg. Pre-shredded cheese and plastic tasting tomatoes completed the salad. Ok, now here is the point in which I could chalk this up to yucky food and never think of the place again… but something happened that prompted me to instead write a review. While I was outside eating(because there is not really interior dining space other than a three-seat bar), a woman in a wheelchair came with her friend to the restaurant. The Twig is not accessible, as all entrances have steps. The friend flagged down an employee and asked if they had accessibility, to which he replied no, apologized, but did not offer any attempt to accommodate them(i.e. Offer to bring out a menu or take the order outside). He just said sorry, and was done with it, and went back inside. The woman and her friend seemed taken aback and went around to check the front door before they left, as if they couldn’t believe the place was not accessible. I work with disabled persons for a living, and this was just inexcusable in my opinion. So I could have written the place off as bad food and never thought of it again, but instead I’ve decided to write this review. Meh food, apologetic about not being handicapped accessible but not willing to offer accommodations.
