Classics Café is one of the offshoot restaurants that the owners of the Pacific Grill have. The restaurant is upstairs from the front desk of the Lemay Car Museum.
The food here is actually quite good! Some of the restaurants by the owners have been hit or miss for me on what I thought about the food but here I enjoyed it!
I had fish tacos which were yummy and a Strawberry Italian Soda which I haven’t had in ages which was quite good!
Service seemed a bit slow but the waitress was very sweet.
While you dine you can look off the balcony at look at the cars from the museum on the first floor and out the large windows to downtown Tacoma which is very pleasant!

My family came here to enjoy the museum. Such a great place. The food at classics was pretty good. It was nice to have service that would accomodate the lackluster menu due to items not being available. We drove from Burlington to enjoy the day to find our lunch options limited. Overall the staff made it the experience and helped make the it worthwhile. It’s unfortunate that Classics doesn’t have their full menu, even though they advertise delicious looking food around the museum. Not certain I’d consider lunching again unless I could try what they advertise.

On Saturday January 19th around noon, I «was» going to eat here but while standing in line, what appears to be the manager assisting the crew in the kitchen did some unforgiveable things and I left the line. She had her hair in a pony tail and she was wearing food service gloves. She wiped her nose several times with the gloves and was fidgeting with her hair while preparing food. She then comes halfway out the kitchen to talk to some other employees that arrived and was rubbing her food service gloves all over the wall. She then got back into the kitchen and was doing the same nose wiping and I lost every ounce of appetite.
Too bad, some of the salads and ready to eat foods looked delicious. Just NOT today.

Burgers and fries are great. Nachos were a little dry and needed some protein but tasted good. Prices are comparable to street prices. Overall nice experience.
