Corso’s Cookies

Cookies had no taste but they did look very cute. I had a problem with the company and the first time they worked with me to fix it but the problem was that they did it again the second time and they tried to blame it on me this time and make it my fault for them forgetting my card in the delivery no once but twice.

I just had a surgery done a few days ago, my husband wanted to surprise me with a sweet treat, brought me a dozen cookies and it was not such a sweet surprise. I don’t know how more than half of the cookies can arrive crumbled. I thought maybe my husband did something on accident during transport but after picking up one of the few whole ones remaining it broke into several pieces on its own instantly. Quality issues? Well he tried I guess. That’s what counts.
I don’t think he will be returning nor will I purchase from again.

Buy a Groupon and you’ll find their site has prices double that of most competitors. Just let this sink in.

I first saw Corso’s Cookies on Groupon, and bought two Groupons.
Ordered the cookie bouquets and the recipients were very pleased with the look and taste of the shortbread cookies! I had to order one for myself… the cookies are huge, soft and very tasty!
They have a bouquet (or gift boxes) for every occasion and once I got an account, they sent me great deals.
Love this company!

I just received my order I placed for my sons birthday party this weekend. Cookies came crumbled and broken… Both layers. Total waste of money, I can not use them at all because they look horrible. Groupon or not… These aren’t worth a penny.

Great cookies delivered EXACTLY on Valentine’s Day. Great price, great cookies. if you can’t afford the shipping go to Walmart.

The taste and presentation of these cookies left much to be desired. The cookies were dry and the frosting was too sweet. Once I had practically destroyed the box stand type thing they were taped on, I noticed a tiny message on the back of the cardboard which read «helpful hint: unwrap a cookie and place it in the microwave for 10 seconds for a fresh-​out-​of-​the-​oven taste». Now, of all the store bought cookies ive ever had, I have never had to heat them to make them taste better. But what was even more comical about these cookies, is that they taste worse out of the microwave. They were so dry I needed water to wash it down with. Honestly, they were a poor excuse for a sugar cookie.
Now, on to the delivery/​packaging…
When someone orders cookies and expects them to be delivered on Valentine’s Day, a delivery at 4pm looks as if these cookies were ordered last minute and that was not the case. They were ordered on January 24^th. I understand that the promptness of the delivery is not Corso’s Cookies issue. However, it does add to my gripe. On to the packaging… Where do I begin??? If I had known these cookies were going to be delivered in a box I would have NEVER wasted my money. Which is exactly what this purchase was, just a big waste of money. The cookies were not only delivered in a box but were individually wrapped and taped/​glued onto a cardboard display. When attempting to remove the individually wrapped cookies from this atrocious packaging they cracked and fell apart. For the ones that were left in a cookie design, their wrapping had actaully been torn making it so they had to be eaten right away. Gross… Too… many…dry…cookies…to eat… in…one…day.I will attach pictures to show how horrible their design is.
Overall, this is a poor cookie company to buy from. I long for the day to re-​order from Cookie’s By Design so that I can be reminded of how a real cookie delivery company is supposed to perform and taste.

These cookies taste horrible. This would be a 1-​star review, but I think it’s really nice that they arrived on Valentine’s Day, so they defintiely get a star for that.
The cookies are HARD, the frosting on the top of about ¹⁄₃^rd of them is cracked or otherwise damaged, and they taste terrible. They are sickeningly sweet due to the frosting, eating just the cookie without the frosting is equally gross because the cookie is so bland and hard. :(

Since my last review the company contacted me to see if I would try their cookies again. They changed their recipe and asked if I would let them know what I thought. They sent me some free cookies to try and they were so much better! My kids loved them too! 5 stars for customer service, I thought they were excellent, and very impressed that they reached out to me. While I feel the cookies taste much better now, I was torn between 4 and 5 stars since there is still a little room for improvement. I feel the effort they put forth deserves rounding up to 5 stars.

I purchased a Groupon (or Living Social) for $ 29.99 and paid $ 13 for delivery to my daughter’s dorm. I do have to say they arrived on time and they are far less costly than Cookies by Design.
i went to visit my daughter the day after arrival and saw that about half of the cookies arrived broken. Additionally, even though each is individually wrapped, they are just loose cello bags-doesn’t make for a nice presentation, especially as a gift. The taste was just ok-​tasted like a lower end packaged cookie.
I would not purchase again-​much rather pony up the $ 100 or so for Cookies by Design and frankly, had I paid regular price I would be furious. Wish I spent the $ 40 on something else though

I was contacted by Corso’s Cookies after my 1-​star review. I sent them my address and they sent me a 9 cookie bouquet. It was very cute for fall with pumpkins, leaves, and acorns decorated on the cookies. The taste left a lot to be desired. I’ve had far better store bought cookies. My husband agreed with me. The arrangement was absolutely adorable. I just can’t handle the taste. I’m a chubby girl… and I don’t turn down sweets… but I just let my husband finish my cookie and he can have the other 8 although he doesn’t seem particularly excited about it. I do thank them for their effort to make things right but their cookies just aren’t worth what they’re charging.

I ordered these cookies for my mother for Valentine’s Day and she absolutely loved them. She sent me a text message with a picture of what she had received and we both agreed it was very beautiful. She said the cookies tasted good too. I would recommend to everyone!

I placed an order and paid extra for guaranteed delivery on ²⁄₁₄. Valentines day came and went, not order at my doorstep. Now, there was bad weather that made it a challenge for all deliveries, but I had paid extra for a guarantee.
Corso’s refunded my shipping quickly and remedied the issue quickly. The cookies were delicious and I am very impressed and how professional they were in helping resolve my complaint.

My father got a basket of these wonderful looking cookies as a gift. I should have known something was up when they mysteriously ended up at my house… HMMM.
Again, they look great! Too bad the cookie tastes like chalky sand, gross! Also the concrete used to decorate it was harder then most concrete I’ve had.
Not sure what to say, it was a pretty jarring experience.

I received a bouquet as a gift the other day and it was absolutely GORGEOUS. The colors were very vibrant and it looked amazing. I tried the cookies the next day, and that’s where it all ended. It tasted like eating playdough!!! Absolutely disgusting. It is hard to believe anyone would think these cookies tasted remotely decent. I am not even that picky when it comes to sweets (love them all) but this was, by far, inedible! 5 stars for appearance, but 1 for taste!

I came across Corso’s Cookies after seeing a Groupon for it. I decided it would be a fun/​new idea to try out for a birthday present. So I bought the coupon and I ordered the cookie bouquet a little ahead of time because I don’t like things being late but I made a comment to NOT have it made/​shipped until ³⁄₁₁ (a little more than a week after I actually placed the order).
Not only did they exactly follow my directions, but they kept me updated on the progress of my cookie bouquet every step of the way. It left their facilities on time and got to the recipient on time (and most importantly in one piece).
The only reason I am not giving it all 5 stars is because I don’t actually know how the cookies taste as they were for someone who lives across state so I can’t rate it based on that. Also I thought the shipping fee was a little ridiculous. $ 12.99 for standard shipping to go about 200 miles between Syracuse, NY and its destination in PA?
With the shipping cost aside, if I had another Groupon for Corso’s Cookies I would certainly order from them again, this company truly has its customers as a top priority.

Found this place on Groupon and ordered a bouquet for my girlfriend’s birthday. They arrived on time, looked, smelled and tasted amazing!

Found this place on Groupon and what a steal! I bought the coupon that allowed me $ 65 worth of cookies for $ 25. That got me a 12-​cookie bouquet which was gorgeous and the cookies were pretty big. I just had to pay for shipping which was fair at $ 12.99; they are in NY and I am in Cali. I paid an extra dollar or two for personalization. So in total, I spent $ 25 for the groupon deal, and then $ 15 for shipping and misc, costing me just $ 40 for my gift. Both my recipients loved their arrangement.
Oh, another note… customer service was AWESOME. On my first order when checking out, I asked them to ship it out in a timely manner so the package doesn’t get to the recipient too early. They shipped it out and it arrived the day before the birthday which was great. On my second order, I forgot to disclose the same info, so I emailed them and they responded within a few minutes. Now that is what you call GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I will definitely be ordering from them in the future!
