The Perfect Piece Consignment Interiors

Sooooo, I’m going to make this short and sweet. The items for sale are what you would expect at a higher-​end home décor consignment store. If you want cheap crap, go down the street to the Goodwill. I have a huge problem with the extremely unfriendly and unhelpful woman who works at this shop. She really has no personality, and is VERY persnickety (I can do without the snotty attitude, thanks). She needs to be reminded that if it was not for the customer consigning their items, she would have no job. There are many other local high end furniture consignment shops I can bring my items to, and customer service is everything. Hope the owner reads this and does something about this employee.

Play by the rules

This place is truly the worst company I’ve ever done business with. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, I delivered over $ 10,000 worth of furniture back in July and today and I went in to pick up a check and they wanted to give me $ 84. They had sold the majority of my things and then after 90 days kept the rest of it and sold it and pocketed all the money. Then they wanted to charge me over $ 900 for some pieces that they felt did not fit the criteria of their store when in fact some of the same similar pieces was already in there store. This company is very unethical and they ripped me off.
It will be in my best interest to just file a lawsuit to try to recover some of the money that they’ve stolen

This consignment shop is located in the shopping center that also includes Cheeky’s, (on the opposite end). The large sign above the store actually says Consignment Interiors and you will see the complete name on the door. I don’t quite know how I feel about this place so I am still a bit ambivalent. The inventory was rather limited and it felt cluttered to the point that I could not clearly see items for sale. I understand the staging of furniture but when it is for sale, it should be featured in such a way that it is able to be clearly seen and examined. I found myself walking around several times just to make sure that I didn’t miss anything.
I also believe that once items are SOLD, they should be moved off the main floor so as not to tempt others and to clear a path. Yes, they had some nice pieces but some of the items were a bit too modern for my taste. They looked like the less than quality pieces that one might find at Ashley’s or Signature Furniture.
They did have some nice dining tables, sofas, dishes and other home décor items. I just prefer large solid wood pieces in lighter shades, such as oak, pecan and maple. Their selections were much darker including mahogany and black walnut. I was particularly looking for a large chest/​dresser and noticed that they did not have any in stock.
It is a consignment store so I will just have to check back as they do have a rotating inventory. I really appreciated that their items were tagged with the manufacturer such as Ethan Allen and then included the markdown dates with prices. Items are consistently marked down until they are finally sold so you definitely want to visit often.
This store was just okay for me and considering the other shops I have visited lately this one is just not at the top of MY list.
EDIT: Hours have posting this review, I had a eureka moment when I finally realized why I felt a bit indifferent about this store. I could have been the only person in this store because there was actually no social interaction although there two salespeople working at the counter. Now, they may have said hello but it was so benign that I don’t recall.
On the other hand when I left this store, I went to another store that was buzzing with activity and interaction and guess where I purchased two pieces of furniture? If you guessed the other shop, you win the prize! I also have my eye on a third piece as well. You can never discount the value of engaging your customers. I really appreciate a personal touch and it will always be rewarded with a return visit!

The best in consignment… high end at bargain prices. Almost all pieces have been well loved, not scratched and dented wares. Robyn, the owner, is the best!

I love taking my stuff that I am no using anymore to the perfect piece. One person’s dislikes can be another’s person treasure. Seriously. I love shopping here. Also finding the best bargins that will go great in my house, Only problem is now I am taking some of my stuff to make room for oher things I spot and want to buy. The realy good items thtat are in shape re sooooo worth it.

I debated reviewing this place, because it’s so good. I’d hate for it to get picked over like all the other good consignment places, but we don’t have room for anymore furniture anyway, so here goes.
The Perfect Piece sells higher-​end furniture. The prices are higher than some consignment stores, but it’s because the quality is far better than most. Do you want to spend $ 50 on a scratched not-​totally-​ugly chair that’s going to fall apart in the near future, or $ 150 on a leather piece that is in perfect condition?
Maybe the rich people living near the store switch out their furniture constantly and will happily sell it for far less than it’s original cost just to get it out of the way. Or maybe they’ve been hit by a bad economy like everyone else, because I can’t believe some of the pristine pieces I saw at this store with such low prices for the quality and taste level. I don’t know why anyone would sell these things for so little, but whatever, I’m thrilled with it.
If you like a good deal and you like nice, sophisticated furniture, this is the place.
