The Pointe At Suwanee Station

I have lived here for a year and 3 months. My experience here has been great. The apartments are nice… they are modern and updated. I never had a complaint about century pointe until I looked into transfering apartments. I only dealt with century pointe about my transfer for a few days before the company was sold to waterton residential. I could tell things had changed with century poine as I did not feel like they cared much about my questions and needs. I paid a transfer fee to secure my new apartment. The day we were told about the change in management I went to the leasing office to go over my transfer and everything. Century pointe had left Waterton no paperwork or information about my transfer. Needless to say I worried and upset… where was I going to live? what about my transfer fee that century pointe had deposited 3 days before the change? Waterton residential handled my whole problem and situation with professionalism and courtesy. They secured my apartment no questions asked and helped with every other question or concern with a smile on their face. I am extremely happy with waterton residental and look forward to working with them.

This complex looks nice on the outside, but don’t make the mistake of moving in. When you decide to leave, they will make up charges that don’t exist and try to nickel and dime you months after you’ve moved out. The worst part is that they won’t even warn you; they’ll just send the issue straight to collections. And keep your security deposit.
Don’t get me started on the ridiculous noise (a neighbor threatened to kill me once when I asked her not to stomp) or the bugs (all the way up to the 3^rd floor).

These pet droppings are starting to get annoying. I love here over 1 year ago and it wasn’t bad but I live on the terrace level and people are taking their dogs to crap there then not even cleaning it up. I’m very dissatisfied. I’m not a pet owner and have no quarrel with animals but this is disgusting too see and makes me want to consider living at another place. Also you have to pay for trash valet and it’s not a option. And don’t sit out more than one bag outside the container because they will not pick it up. I’ve also seen them come very late to pick up the trash. What a convenient service that you have to pay for.

My feelings about this complex become less and less every time there is a problem. This time it wasn’t dog feces but garage (pic included) that had been left outside a resident’s house for four days. There are very strict rules about what time and how many bags can go out each night. For example, per notice sent out, only one tied bag per night can be placed outside, and it has to be in a labeled valet container. This (pic) obviously violates most of the rules outlined. It finally took three complaints to get management to do anything about it. It really is unfortunate that the rules here only seem to apply to certain people.
