After reading some reviews I had high hopes but low expectations. We used to eat at the old Alpharetta location on Jones Bridge road regularly before they moved years ago. Lots of folks said it was not as good now but in our experience it was better. The food was every bit as good and the service and atmosphere was much improved. We had a lovely young lady named Taylor waiting on us and she treated us like we were her only table. We took home delicious(although pricy) desserts to complete the experience. Try this place yourself instead of taking the advice of some other negative reviewers.

Always want the food to be what I remember from their former location, but it’s not nearly as good. Service a little slower than I would like for dinner. Still a solid middle of the road choice for a cold night.

Local comfortable eatery. Love the free rolls. Love the atmosphere. Sometimes can be too noisy but decent food at a decent price.

You’re better off going to the Olive Garden. Everything about our experience was sub par or worse. The service was probably the worst part of our visit. Other tables were seated and served before our drinks even arrived. The food was so marginal that we didn’t want to take our left overs home. Kids barely touched their meals. Super overpriced as well.

Ippolito’s is one of the restaurants surrounding Madison Park at Suwanee Town Center, so its location is convenient if you find yourself hungry when visiting the park. Overall the food isn’t anything particularly stellar, but some entrees do stand out. * Garlic Knots– These come free before your meal. Similar in consistency to Olive Garden’s breadsticks. Not much of a garlic flavor. They were only okay. * Chicken & Shrimp Cavatelli– $ 12.95. Cavatelli with grilled chicken, shrimp, broccoli, olive oil, garlic, and parsley. LOVED this, it was sooo flavorful! Everything in it was tasty, even the broccoli?! I can see myself coming back just for this dish. Mmmm! * Chicken Vodka– $ 11.95. Rigatoni in a vodka cream sauce with grilled chicken & Italian sausage. The sliced sausage in it had a lot of flavor, but overall this dish was lacking in flavor in comparison to the Chicken & Shrimp Cavatelli. I didn’t love it.

Service so slow at the bar. I tolerate because the food is so good. Have had dinner in the restaurant and service was great. The manager even came over to check on us. Décor is very appealing & hostesses are professional but the service at the bar needs improvement.

We always end up disappointed when we go here. The prices are kinda high for a lunch mean. I ordered chicken piccata and it was very liquidy. The chicken was nice and tender. The rolls are very good. We feel we getter better portions for the price at Antonentas.

I tried this place four times and as much as I wanna love it based on location and the menu I just feel like overall the quality is just okay. The location is awesome and the décor on the inside is very nice. Comfortable seating inside, out and bar top. Staff has all been pretty stellar, but the food has missed the mark. Outside of the garlic knots which are very tasty the pasta, sandwiches and pizza have been nothing special for me and this is really a mediocre Italian restaurant in a cool location. Starting with the pasta itself… It has been over or under cooked on two visits and the sauce watered down or lacking flavor, while on another visit the olive and garlic oil was spot on. The bbq chicken flatbread had great flavor, but the chicken itself tasted like pre-packaged strips, so it would have been better to just eat the onions. The same with the meatballs that I had on another visit which tasted like they were re-heated. There is a considerable difference in taste when you cook something right before putting it on a pizza or a pasta dish and it really has to do with that and the quality of the meat being used. The marsala I tried was really tasty, but the chicken they used was awful. If they just looked at the quality of meat used by other restaurants this place could be so much better! Now you are probably wondering why I have been here so many times and not happy with things I keep coming back and it is just the the fact that while I wish it was better the location and lack of other options at Suwanee are lacking. Hoping for improvement!!!

I came with some friends today for lunch today and the rolls were definitely the best part of the meal(however they were extremely inconsistent with the baking; our first basket of rolls was a bit underdone but the second and third basket of rolls were perfect.) I ordered the chicken francese expecting it to be mostly chicken, but there was only a small piece of chicken(my friend ordered the same thing and her chicken was twice the size of mine.) The flavoring was just ok. I may come back for lunch, but I would definitely try something else.

Not very good. Seems to have gone downhill at this location. Rolls seemed dry and a different texture. Salad portion was in a small bowl when it used to be larger. Waitress was not very good. eggplant rollitini was lost in too much sauce. Been coming to ippolitos since the mid 80s when they had one location in Roswell. Very disappointing.

Ippolitos located in the wonderful Suwannee town center. This place is one of numerous restaurants in this location. Not the best at that. I’ve been coming to ippolitos for a while now. Use to make the trip to the one in norcross but now this is closer to home. I’ve had just okay experiences until I went in last Friday for lunch-this was definitely probably one of the worst lunch experiences I’ve had. To start off my mother and I got sat but no one even greeted us. We didn’t complain because we understood it was lunch hour, but then again I’m on a timed lunch so I couldn’t be that understanding. Finally my waitress came to take our drink order. Then proceeded to bring us bread. I was jumping for joy because everyone knows ippolitos has awesome bread. My server didn’t bring the sauce for the bread so we spent awhile waiting for her to come back so she could get us some. The bread was so HARD!!! So yeah no hard bread for me. Then my service wasn’t good either. I had to constantly hunt my waitress down. I didn’t get a refill for my drink either. We tried to get ahold of the manager but he never came to see us. Oh well ippolitos I doubt I will be dining here again, if I do it’s for the cheese sticks!

The servers were fun and helpful gave a great recommendation of the veal Marsala. My wife had the chicken & spinach cannelloni, which she loved, but couldn’t finish because the portion was so large! The tiramisu was awesome! This was my first time eating here and will be back anytime I’m in Atlanta.

This is by the best Italian restaurant in town. Nothing my girlfriend and I haven’t tried here has been bad. Exceeded beyond our expectations. We’re going to miss this place when we move…

Mediocre food. Not your typical Italian restuarant ot pizza place. They dump a huge pile of garlic knots in front of you to distract you from the sub-par main courses. I’ve had better in Suwanee and surrounding area. Pizza is okay buy not great. Service is fine and waiters seem knowledgeable.

Not much EyeTalian going on, but decent when compared to what other folks think Eyetalian food should be. I’ve visited Ippolitos on various occasions in the past, and it’s never really been bad per se, but not usually much to write home about. Average food with decent service, but with what else is out there, it’s tough to call this«Italian», even from my Italian upbringing. I get the fact that most people don’t know Italian food from Taco Bell, so what the majority says goes, right? Absolutely not. Basically if you want consistent food from location to location, then Ippolito’s is right up your alley just as much as an Italian Applebee’s can be. It’s far better than Olive Garden, and the service is much better than that of the usual chains, which is what gives it three stars on average. For the folks of Suwanee, Georgia, there are other(if not better choices), but if mindless Eyetalian is your thing, then bring it on. The small, personal space is nicer than the other locations, and the servers are far more attentive than the other places, so choose wisely and try something a little less GPS than the spaghetti with red-sauce for a change… please?

Hit or miss. Sometimes this place is great amd the good tastes fresh. Other times it seems like the kitchen just make huge batches and they sit there for a while. Decent for the price. Can get crowded with weekend lunch or dinner crowd but we don’t mind. I am giving them 4 stars because i always manage to have a second meal from leftovers and when they are on thier game it shows.

I have eaten there several times and the food is good so I thought I’ll use them for our a vendor lunch… mistake! One pan lasagna, salad and rolls = $ 245!!! Food definitely not that good! Won’t use them again!

Not really sure what to say. I really wished this was«the Italian place» for us but it isn’t. I’m finding it a real struggle to find good Italian food here. This place was no different. The positives, the waitstaff, hostesses and who I believe was the owner, they were all extremely nice. On to the food… Fried mozzarella– was good nothing special but the sauce was very taste that they served with them. Caesar salad w/Gorgonzola– Surprisingly very good. I think this was my favorite part of the meal. Garlic Knots– Very good but nothing made them stand out except the size of them. Fettucini w/pesto cream sauce and chicken– Subpar. I actually had a similar dish from lean cuisine back In the day.(Sorry, I hate to say that but it’s true) Cheese Tortellini specialty dish w/chix–(I don’t recall the exact name) — no taste to it. Sorry I really truly wanted to love this place but it just wasn’t that great. Maybe I’m a tough critic coming from a highly concentrated italian population up north.

I’ve always heard of this place and see it every time I visit the Suwanee Town Center but never got a chance to check them out until last weekend. We were celebrating our friend Melanie’s 30th birthday and had a great time out on their patio. Our server Valerie was great! The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their stromboli’s, custom pasta and pizzas. I loved my chopped Italian salad and their blue cheese dressing rocks. Super thick and chunky. The inside of the restaurant is super cute and cozy. This restaurant is family friendly and is conveniently located facing the park at Suwanee Town Center. You can’t miss it. Again, Valerie, one of the servers was great! She took great care of us & was very accommodating for our friend’s 30th birthday party!
