Great selection of everything for the fashion-minded from undergarments to fingerless gloves, felt pins, gorgeous scarves and jewlery. Self-proclaimed fashionista, Rosimiere, the owner, specializes in locally-made one of a kind dresses, sweaters, shawls and jackets by top-notch designers like Olga, Gwen Fisher and Kake Kajan. She has a beautiful selection of Indie Elle garments made from recycled saris from a designer in Oregon. There are plenty of items for children, too, including beautifully made stocking monkeys from The Monkey Lady. If you can’t find a gift for someone who likes beautiful, tasteful fashion accessories, you need new friends!

Shopped there today for the first time. Wonderful, very personal service by Rosemary, the owner. She patiently searched her inventory until she found the perfect thing for my special event. She took the time to understand my likes and dislikes and what was right for me. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is amazing! I stopped by with my daughter on Saturday when the farmer’s market was open. My daughter dragged me in first but I had no idea what I could find at this place! Soon the owner Rosemary greeted us and started choosing some clothes for us. She was like magician ! She knew what kind of clothes I would like as well as I would look great on! We had so much fun to change clothes and tried different styles. Rosemary has a great fun personality to talk to. The price are very affordable and there are many interesting and cute accessories in the store. I even found a ToryBurch’s purse and I became a fan of this place!!!

I previously wrote about the terrible experience I had at this store, but I’m updating to address the wonderful action taken by the REAL owner of the store. Apparently the lady I dealt with was not the owner despite having said so. The real owner formally apologized and took action to make sure I was happy. I really appreciated that.

Okay, first things first, I’m a photographer by hobby and I’m looking at finding the best possible stuff and finding it for my models and friends. I found out about Isabella Boutique via Facebook, when she posted some very nice things that was in her store. So, while it’s a bit of a drive(Berkeley to Sunnyvale), I went there twice. Both times were spectacular. I had two very hard to fit models(one was taller than I was in flats, and I’m 5’11″, the other very petite) and Rosemarie(the lady who runs the store) was awesome. We got the perfect dresses for both, despite the difficulties. She had such a huge variety of styles and forms that I felt like I could pretty much bring any model or friend into the store, and find the perfect thing. Her eye was perfectly critical-and she even let me do some test shoots with one of my models outside of her store! The only two things that makes it a non-5 star review is that it’s in Sunnyvale(yea, I know petty-but it’s my review), and there is such an embarrassment of riches there. I’ve shopped at stores and it’s been an easy choice between two dresses. I could so easily see myself picking between six or seven there… and my wallet is already screaming in agony at two! :D Very awesome store, run by an awesome lady, and if you have any doubts about going there, GOTHERENOW.

I hardly ever write bad reviews but I am really upset. I thought this place was really cute, just like the other reviews and I was SO excited when I found a perfectly cute unique dress for an upcoming wedding. I bought the dress about 3 – 4 weeks ago, planning ahead. I covered it and stored it in my closet. Last night I pulled it out to try on again. My husband was unable to zip it up. And I remembered the woman in the store having a hard time as well. I took the dress off and saw that the zipper was torn away from the dress a bit causing a small hole in the back. I hadn’t noticed it when I bought it. I thought no big deal, I will bring it back and exchange it. Well, first of all the store didn’t have the dress in my size, that was understandable and fine but the lady at the store wouldn’t even consider exchanging it for another dress. So I basically bought a torn dress and she won’t exchange it. Great, now I have a wedding to go to in 2 days and don’t have anything to wear. I would never come back here. :((

I rarely feel comfortable enough about giving out five stars, but Isabella boutique is a place that deserves this rating. The boutique is the perfect place to find clothing, shoes, accessories like a Venetian-style mask for a special occasion, shawl pins for a new sweater, or beautiful, unique scarves. The owner is so welcoming and full of suggestions. I like to take my time in making a decision about a product and every time I visit, she walks me around the store to point out everything that may fits my wishlist. And she supports local designers by selling their products at her shop. And if a product doesn’t quite fit what you’re looking for she’s willing to speak to the designer on your behalf to get a customized version. She really goes the extra mile that is sorely missing from customer service at most businesses. I especially love that about her business; support the local economy.
