Home Vue Inspection

Carl is awesome and his reports are awesome! If you’re there while he’s doing an inspection, he’ll gladly answer any questions (I recommend recording a voice memo when he talks so you don’t later forget). He’s very quick to respond, he’s prompt, and he works with your schedule. His reports are so easy to understand. He designates between serious issues and not so serious ones, and takes clear pictures that he includes in the report along with arrows so you know exactly what he’s talking about. He was also available for follow up questions and sent the report to me extremely quickly after the inspection. He was also pretty thorough. I got a few quotes and he was about low-​middle of the road in terms of cost, which is great considering the service you get. Would def use again and recommend!

Carl was awesome. I can’t imagine that anyone else could provide better home inspection services. We actually used him twice, because the first house we were in contract on turned out to be an attractive, but extremely shoddily-​done flip. He really went above and beyond to find non-​obvious issues, crawling into scary-​tight spaces to find stuff that our pest inspector couldn’t. He spent a very long time (probably much more than he’d planned on) inspecting that place and gave us extremely detailed reports, both in person and in writing. Both of which led us to back out of the deal, and we are extremely grateful for his opinion on that house, because it kept us from getting stuck with a money pit. The second house he inspected for us, he methodically inspected on and reported on the problems that it had, but he made it clear that we’d made the right choice in backing out of the prior house and that his opinion was much higher of the house we ended up buying. If you want to know what you’re really getting into with any house you’re buying, you can’t go wrong with Carl.

When Carl came out to inspect our potential purchase I was immediately set at ease because I had someone who was even more meticulous than I was inspecting my future abode. Carl was very detailed and I feel like I learned so much about at home just from listening to him explain certain things. I felt like Carl was inspecting his own house or at the least treating me like I was one of his family members. He exceeded my expectations and his wisdom helped lead my wife and I in the direction of a purchase. I could not be more pleased with Home Vue and Carl Henley!

Carl Henley inspected the house that I was considering buying. He started off the inspection by asking if I had any particular concerns about the house that he should focus special attention on. He then thoughtfully and methodically inspected the house outside-​in, top to bottom. As he was going along he explained everything he found and allowed me to ask questions. After wards I felt very knowledgeable about the items found during the inspection and how urgent or significant they were to my home purchase decision. The report was emailed to me as a pdf (very convenient!) within a couple of days.
