First off, there will always be 2 sides to each story. Her office is always very busy, but she delivers great results! It is on the client to make the appointment once they walk out of the office! There’s only 1 doctor and thousands of clients. Nevertheless to say, she is the most ethical doctor I’ve seen! She helps those in needs! When I told her my financial situation, she even furthered out my payment without interest. On top of that, she never disrespect anyone from what I’ve seen even if they don’t pay on time like me or not give service.
By the end of the day, I paid up and am very happy with my smile. So many compliments. Most doctors said I have to extract before braces. Doctor Doan based off my xray and said no extraction and worked around it. She said if I extracted, my jaw will look very small which makes my smile small. For her, it’s all about a beautiful big even smile. I am grateful!

This review is long overdue. I got my braces as a freshmen in high school and was suppose to have them off 2 ½ years later so I’d have a nice smile in my senior portraits if I attended all my appointments on time, which I did. I even had appointments scheduled twice a month at a time to make the process go faster. Not only did I have a face full of metal for senior portraits, I was done with my freshmen year of college when I got them off. The retainer I was provided with never fit properly and I was told «it takes time to start fitting the mouth» and sent off to never even receive a check up or anything. Now it’s been 9 months since my braces have been off, my retainer has NEVER fit me, let alone «started fitting» over time. My smile is average but I could visibly see the shift on my bottom teeth now and mind I do wear my improperly fitted retainer every night to bed as I was directed. All those sleepless nights due to pain, mouth bleeds, rubber bands, liquid diets for serveral days after appointments and having a different assistant poke their tools into my gums every time, wasn’t even worth it. Heck, I barely ever met with doctor doan herself at my appointments. All in all, save your self the trouble and money. Find a better orthodontist. There is plenty of orthodontists in the area who actually care about your smile and not only the money sitting in their wallets. Hope this helps if you’re considering any service from this office.

I went there for lower braces and so far is good, at some point I didn’t like how my teeth were moving because some lack of communication with her but as soon as we talk she fixed it and I’m good :)

There are only 2 reviews of 5 stars, and it should make you pause. I can only speak to my own experience.
A couple of years ago, my daughter was recommended for a retainer by Dr. Doan. Immediately she complained that her cheeks hurt each time she talk or open her mouth. She also bit her tongue each time she tried to eat. When I called the dentist, Dr. Doan insist that she just needed to get used to the retainer. After a day or two, I decided that the retainer should be removed, and waiting for her to get used to the retainer while she continued to bite her tongue and one side of her cheek continued to bleed did not make sense. When the technician removed the retainer, we saw a peace of metal sticking out on the side of the retainer. This explained why my daughter’s cheeck was bleeding and hurting. My husband then mentioned that Dr. Doan never check my daughter’s mouth after the retainer was placed by her technician.
To me, this is negligent! At the minimum, it was her job to check each work that was done by her technicians. Needless to say, we went to a new orthodontist and he recommended that my daughter didn’t even needed a retainer.
Based on my experience, this dentist is negligent and untrustworthy.

Her and her staff are very nice. All of her equipment are very new and high tech. She is very knowledgeable with tons of credentials hanging on her wall. I switched to her after my original Ortho milked me for 4 years and didn’t really make any progress. With her I was able to finish them in 18 months for a great price. Both my sisters went to her and great results!

I too agree that Dr. Doan and her staff are great! This is my second child with braces and what a different experience. I wish I had found her with my first son. They are always flexible with the apt times.
My only issues are they are not open before noon and they days they are open. But since we only need to go in once a month its not too that bad. Their waiting room can get a little crazy but it seems they have everything under control. When he is in the chair I am able to sit next to him so if i have any questions she is right there to answer me. She explains whats going on with his treatment. I always recommend her to anyone who is shopping around for braces for their child.

After Dr Doan’s great work, I finally had my braces removed. I wish I had found her earlier and done it earlier!
I went to many Orthodontists to see what are my options. Dr Doan is honest and set realistic expectations. I am happy with the results :)
