My new go-​to threading place! I love it here; the ladies are quick, precise, and experienced. The prices are also unbeatable: $ 5 for eyebrows and $ 3 for upper lip. It’s easily accessible by the 7 train and I’ve never had to wait for long.
I don’t have a specific lady I go to because every single one was great. Five-​stars easy.

$ 5 for a striking brow wax. Got compliments from my friends and got them asking where I had it done. Service wise though, I’m not expecting much so it’s fairly okay.

Eyebrows done nicely without a wait. 7 chairs available; CC accepted; no appointment needed. Fairly clean and never a line. Staff will ask if you want other stuff done but will not be too pushy.

I have been getting my brows done here for almost two years now so I figured I am due for a review.
PROS:
They are for the most part very consistent, i do not really have a specific lady I go to I think I get the a different girl each time and for the most part I havent had an issue with that. Just like once or twice the girl took too much off leaving my eyebrows very thin. But for the most part they are all very good and they take their time and try to get all the brow hair.
It is only $ 5 for threading (i have only done threading there so I cannot speak to any of the other services)
Even when they are busy it is not a very long wait.

I hope someone from the store is reading this because I really hope they take my opinion as constructive criticism and not just a compliant. All the girls I dealt with all were very sweet and professional BUT what makes my visits less than enjoyable is when the girls talk to each other while one of them is doing my eyebrow. It happens to me all the time, the girl will be less than an inch close to my face with the thread in her mouth doing her thing on my brows while having a full on conversation. I get so annoyed by this I just want her to finish fast so I can get out of that chair. I never say anything because I dont want to come off rude but it is just very unpleasant to have someone that close to you and talking. I just want to lay there get my brows done without having to smell what my lady had for lunch.
Anyways I love this place and even when I move out of Sunnyside I plan to come visit bi weekly to get my brows done here!

This is my threading place to go to! I usually do it with the same lady, however the last few times she is not available or is busy attending other customers so I let other ladies do my eyebrows. Don’t ever do this! Always go to the same person because my eyebrows are a bit uneven now and have to come back so they can remove more hair to even my eyebrows! Great place, great places and they do facials and nails and other services too

Any girl knows a good, consistent place to get your eyebrows done is really priceless… But $ 5 is even better!
I literally will not go anywhere else to get my eyebrows threaded. Even after I moved out of Queens, I still continue to come here. Davy is the best so I always make sure to have her do my brows — the other girls can be hit or miss.
Only come here for the eyebrows — I tried a mani here once and it was not good.

My eyebrows were a mess, and now they are perfect! The girl had great precision and patience as she threaded them. The eyebrow threading and lip wax/​thread was $ 8. Not only is there a great price, but the quality of work is excellent. I’m definitely going there again.

This was the second stop in my threading tour of Sunnyside. I lucked out and was helped right away, though a big group of women came in right after me. There were two threaders working. The woman who was taking care of my hair removal needs seemed pretty sweet and was quite efficient. It’s $ 5 for eyebrows here and $ 3 for upper lip. The thread broke once maybe twice, and upon post-​threading inspection at home, everything looked smooth and irritation-​free!

I have been coming to this place since last year and it is good for Threading. They do a nice job and reasonably priced.

It was pretty good, for the price ($ 3 for upper lip threading!). The woman who did mine pulled and pinched the skin a lot, but never broke it. The result was clean and polished, though my upper lip smarted for a long time after.

Great price and great service. I don’t have a specific girl I go to since they are all really good. I think the only difference is that the younger girls take longer. I can’t tell if it’s because they are less experienced and are taking their time, or are spending more time trying to take every bit of hair! Either way, the price is very cheap and they do a wonderful job.
Location is pretty convenient since the place is very close to the 46^th street stop off the 7 train. I believe it is about a 3 min walk or so.
Also, if you are used to the nice chandelier, relaxing spa music type of salons, you may find this place run down. I think a lot of NYC eyebrow treading place are not very bourgeois in general, but thought I would mention anyways! The facilities are clean though (even though I don’t think I would every get a facial here).

I can’t emphasize how inexpensive this place is. They’re also very courteous and fast. Interestingly enough, they prefer threading than waxing, and for me, it’s perfect. I always ask the women to make my brows more arched, since I’m an easy target and always come off too nice. Arched brows would make me look like a drag queen! :-)
Five bucks plus a good tip, and you’re out the door!

I am pretty low maintenance and thankfully I inherited my mother’s eyebrows, which are dark and generally thin (versus the bush brows). Anyway, the girl we did mine was fast and thorough. I also got a wax here too, which was painless and she helped clean up strays with thread. Thread v. tweezer, always thread is better!

VERY CHEAP!!! I got my eyebrows threaded, I’d say she did a good job, I think she trimmed them a little short, but only I will notice it. I also got a wax (lip) (I’m hairy) and she was really good. I’m not sure the wax was sanitary but she did a great job. I would come back.

Let’s face it. There are no good threading facilities in Sunnyside. In fact, I haven’t been able to find a stellar threadist — and I’m from Florida. I had the best person back home and I still go to her when I visit. But, EZ Threading has the best to offer in this area. I go to Davi because she seems the most competent. I had someone botch my brown 5 months ago and I’m still working with Davi to get my brows back to normal. So, careful selection of a threadist is a must! Don’t go anywhere else in Sunnyside. If you must, try out some places in Jason Heights, they may even be better. Also, EZ Threading only costs $ 5. It’s a steal!

The recent rise of threading businesses has probably hit a sky high in Sunnyside over the past year. Now there are as many threading shops as there are diners, perhaps even more. But the best one happens to be here on Greenpoint Ave, known as E-​Z.
Men’s brows are only $ 5 here, which for those unfamiliar with the pricing, is a steal. Most threading salons will charge men for a few dollars more, I assume because it’s likely we’ll have more hair than our estrogen laden counterparts (not always true either). This does not happen at E-​Z and the speaking of prices, they’re probably the most inexpensive in the entire neighborhood.
But do they do a good job? I can’t emphasize how amazing they are. The owner is patient, kind woman who makes very good recommendations for all when it comes to grooming. She does an amazing job with ease and sports a healthy number of dedicated clientele, both male and female, especially on the weekends.
It may seem seedy from the outside, but the facilities seem to be very adequate. There are willing and able technicians often doing their thing and the place is spacious on a whole. With a clean interior, extremely reasonable prices, and excellent execution, coming here is certainly an «E-​Z» choice.
