Nice, big and clean. Other than that this is the worst of the three big local supermarkets. The prices are pretty expensive and the selection isn’t very good.

I hate going to this store. The selection is limited on almost everything. The produce is over priced and either near expiration or hard as a rock. The worst part though are the employees. Everyone from the stock boys to the cashiers all the way to management is terrible. The cashiers are always extremely rude and always either eating or texting on their cell phones instead of paying attention to what they should be doing. The people who stock the shelves look absolutely miserable and will give you dirty looks if you ask them for help at all. The managers walk around on their cell phones and flirt with the cashiers and the guy who usually works in the deli at night is completely rude. For me I rather walk the extra five blocks to Key Food.

I love this Ctown. It’s super convenient; has organic produce; plenty of vegan/​vegetarian options; many, many gluten free options; and is very clean. The costumer service is great compared to other places I’ve been. The mangers are really helpful and if I ever look like I’m looking for something, the person stocking the isle asks if I need help. Or, in the case when I approach them first, they are really helpful and nice. They have great sales most of the time. I honestly can’t find a reason to complain about this place. It’s a great local supermarket.

I’m very surprised to see that this supermarket only gets three stars. I think it’s great. Granted, it is not a huge mega store like Stop and Shop, but it is larger than Met Food and Key Food. It is extremely clean and they have a pretty decent selection of most things. Great produce section. The cashiers are very polite and friendly and the lines are blissfully short. If you are comparing this supermarket to bigger suburban mega stores, then I guess it is lacking in selection, but it is by far the best supermarket in the area. Oh, and they have free delivery!

Pretty solid ice cream sales and shockingly friendly teen cashiers, but they’re sure to be gone if I ever return.

Customer service has marginally increased to acceptable for the area. There still isn’t anything great about the grocery and I only run in for essentials. For the essentials, the place is OK and clean. Its def. much better than most CTown’s but is not above average.

The only thing this markets got going is location for me (a block away) and that they carry organic products. Besides that I would say I only come here if I don’t feel like walking the extra few blocks to the other markets in the area. This place is expensive for the same exact stuff in the other markets. Why? No idea– it’s the same exact stuff. Also the produce is not as fresh as some of the competition in the area. Like I said– this is an emergency stop for me only.
***update: I’ve shopped here a few times in the past month and noticed that the prices are now comparable to the other supermarkets around (instead of being higher). I will shop here more often.

I really want this grocery store to succeed. It is conveniently located, good selection of items, wide aisles, good lighting, friendly staff, good sales. All of the packaged goods are fine. But the main issue is the produce. There are not enough people shopping at this store, so the produce doesn’t turn over fast enough, and so the produce is always a little old seeming– like, on the verge. Floppy carrots. You have to be really careful about what you buy, or else you might realize a day later that it is no good. It’s kind of a catch-​22: I bet people aren’t shopping here because of the produce, but you need more customers to have better produce. Well, I will still keep coming here for other things…

I decided to edit my review based on some the nasty people who work there. The managers are not the friendliest people around. They cast suspicious looks towards their customers. The cashiers do not know how to handle problems. As a matter of fact they cop attitudes when asked of price change. The stock people look like they don’t want to be there. I question. The people they hire at times. I noticed the quality of customer going down in the past couple of months.
What sort of people do they hire nowadays?
On the other hand: The isles in this market look clean. Brightly lit, this makes shopping and browsing much easier. The shelves appear fully stocked. At times the store offers discounts which I love. This market usually has what I’m looking for. Much of the produce are fresh. When we plan to cook, we go there to purchase what we need.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came in to the store at 5:15. I noticed they offered free delivery and asked the person at customer service how it worked and they said it would come to my house in 10 – 15 minutes. I checked out and asked the cashier and she said I was the next person for delivery. I called at 6:12 (35 minutes after my checkout time) and was rudely told by the manager that there were three deliveries ahead of me. I expressed concern about the refrigerated items. I had to follow up with 7 subsequent phone calls and was on the phone with the store manager for 39 minutes total. When my groceries finally arrived it had been close to an hour and a half so I sent the cold items back and the store sent new ones. No apology was made at all whatsoever until the 5^th phone call. When I expressed that I didn’t think I should have to pay for the groceries at that point given that they didn’t come until two hours later and that I had to follow up several times the manager became angry and started raising his voice. He said he would pay for my next groceries out of his own pocket which I obviously refused and said I felt the store should offer me something for the inconvenience. He said if he did something for me I would make him lose my job and asked me if I wanted that. Also worth noting that during one of the many phone calls the manager insisted that it was my fault because the driver had come and I didn’t answer the door or pick up my phone. When the driver came he admitted he had been on the wrong street. After several follow up phone calls expressing my concerns the store manager assured me he would talk to the owner and call me back. Several weeks later and I never received that call. All in all I’m appalled by how I was treated. I understand mix ups happen but the customer service I recieved and lack of concern was truly terrible. Would never shop there again and will encourage everyone I know to do the same.

I just moved into an apartment around the corner from this C-​town. In my past experience with other C-town’s, I was not impressed, but Steve’s C-​Town is the complete opposite. I am actually surprised at the low ratings here or maybe its because I moved from Woodside where all the supermarkets were crap.
I love that this store is bright and clean and I am pleased with the produce selection. They sell Applegate meats which is helpful since they can be harder to find in the smaller stores and I try to only eat their cold cuts. I don’t have issue finding products here and I feel the store is big enough where I don’t feel cramped but not large and overwhelming with choices. The deli also has a nice selection of cold cuts and also offers pre-​made salads. The cheese selection is pretty awesome too. I’d say their prices are slightly more expensive than other stores in the area but I think they’re still cheaper than Stop & Shop.
But my most favorite part of this C-​Town is the BEER SELECTION! IT IS AWESOME! The cold beer is right at the entrance of the store and they sell my most favorite, Southern Tier, and when I was there the other day they had THREE different varieties of Southern Tier which knocked my socks off. Then, when you go into the room temp beer isle, the selection gets even better! And their prices are waaaaaay better than Beer World. I used to love Beer World for the same reason but then they started charging $ 17 for a 6 pack of Southern Tier and I can get the same exact thing for $ 12.50 at C-​town.
They also have a loyalty program which is a nice perk. Free delivery too! The cashiers are friendly and always say hello to you. I love C-​town!

Glad to have a grocery store again in this location, and overall the prices are good. Agree with another reviewer that it doesn’t seem like they have figured out the right items to stock for the neighborhood yet. Produce isn’t so fresh, and there’s a very limited selection of pre-​prepared frozen meals. Also, the music is terrible.

I’m so glad this place finally opened. It’s closer to me than AMP is so it’s much more convenient. They have decent product selection and there’s employees all over the store in case you need help with anything. I do agree with another reviewer. The checkout lanes are super tiny so that can be annoying sometimes.

I’m glad we have another supermarket in the neighborhood since our other options aren’t that good. This place was well stocked and the prices were reasonable. The only thing I didn’t like was that there weren’t many employees around when I had questions about a few products.

It’s definitely the nicest C Town I’ve ever been to, however, it still sucks. It’s C Town. It is a step down for the neighborhood, and I want it gone. The produce and meat sections are terrible. Please go. Just go. Also, the checkout lanes were made for hobbits.

Generic C-​Town of the new design mode. Nothing special yet. No data on the buying habits of the neighborhood informing inventory. Lots of low-​level execs on site for the opening day to trouble shoot. Very «Company-​feel» not «Neighborhood-​feel.» Deli section not peopled with anyone with knowledge. Produce weak and over-​priced. Meat seems OK in the beef section, but in poultry, no Bell & Evans … small variety of Murray’s. The rest is Perdue and some off-​brands. Staff seems friendly and helpful but definitely not Union-​grade grocers … there is a big difference.

Finally! The new neighborhood grocer is here. It’s well lit, well stocked, and they have a loyalty program unlike the last store. The prices are competitive and the selection is great. Great addition to Sunnyside!
