This place is bomb. The workers are all total sweethearts– very informative and friendly. The food is awesome, and you get a huge amount for the price! I was expecting some Panda Express stuff, but this place is amazing. The orange peel chicken is delish.

This place is good, fresh and 10x better than Panda Express. But it’s a bit on the pricier side (you get what you pay for). I used to come here all the time when I worked at Yogurtland next door. The manager, Mark, was always friendly and the cooks always had my food ready on time when I ordered online. I really like the veggie spring rolls and beef fried rice, super yummy!
The reason why I’m giving this place 4 stars is only because one of their cooks got a hold of my name and found me on Facebook. The creep started messaging me and telling me that he always sees me, knows what I love to order and knows where I work! Soo creepy! I stopped coming here when the guy found me. I had just turned 18 and he was probably 40. :(

The food is always freshly done on a timely manner. I never have to wait too long. Portion sizes are perfect. And the staff is very friendly. Specially the evening guy supervisor.

I live in the neighborhood and stop in about twice a month. Although I am hugely disappointed they discontinued the Lemon Chicken, I have found other tasty menu options. But I would mostly like to comment on the wonderful staff. Every employee I have encountered has been very friendly and helpful but I want to mention Sherry… she is so lovely and warm and Im always happy to see her face when I walk in the door. I feel that many quick service restaurants have sub par service, this Pick up Stix is the exception to the rule!!! Great food and great service!

Got the house chicken with some noodles. Too greasy, too sweet. Panda is much better!
I’m glad I had the Facebook offer (a chicken entrée for $ 3.99) otherwise I would have paid around $ 11 for a horrible food! Never again!

LOVE this place when I want a fresh Asian fusion meal! And I love that they offer white meat chicken for any dish!
Their egg rolls could be crispier. When I have gotten them to go, they tend to be soggy!
I love how you can upgrade to chow mien, and that they will customize whatever you want!

I don’t like Panda Express. This is 10 times worse. I ordered the Chicken and Vegetable lunch combo with chow mein. It tastes like dessert. The sauce is so sweet they should have called With Sweet sauce. Should have gone to my usual go-​to traditional Rice Wok down the street. What a big disappointment. Can’t even finish the meal. This place is for people who don’t know anything about Chinese or Asian food or those without taste buds. What a bad first experience.

Best pick up stix ever. We come here every Tuesday night after playing basketball and they are so accommodating and the food is always tasty and fresh. The manager always takes good care of us and has the food hot and ready when we get there to pick it up. Definitely go to this place.

We finally checked this place out. The location makes it difficult to access without a hard turn across busy traffic. The food was fresh and quite good. We’ll be coming back!

Hades is a little stingy at pick up Styx. Zeus no like. Quality is a little better than Panda Express; however the portions are even smaller. They give you actual nutritional portions, can you believe it? This is Merica. I demand four times the normal portion to satisfy my bottomless belly! For two dollars more, I could have gone to Schezwan buffet to be thanksgiving stuffed cause I like that bang for my buck!

Beats Panda Express in every way but convenience and number of outlets. Food tastes fresher and of higher quality, and service is friendly and they actually pay attention when taking your order!
Just wish there were more locations (especially near Burbank). Hope you’re listening, corporate.

Great tasting food… good customer service… nice décor!
TIP: If you order a «meat» dish, make sure you tell them that you want limited vegetables therein. For example, I order the orange chicken and there was more water chestnuts than actual chicken… a disappointment. My entire family hates water chestnuts and we ended up throwing most of the «meat» entrée in the trash.
Same goes with the mushroom chicken entrée… TONS OF VEGETABLES, although, my family did eat the vegetables in the mushroom chicken.
The honey chicken, firecracker chicken is nothing but meat… you are safe with those entrees!

Always consistently good. I love just about everything here. Tonight I had the pad thai and it was fabulous!

I always get pick up Stix for lunch. They have a very clean place, staff is friendly and organized. I always get the house chicken with white rice it is amazing. No drive from sherman way to ventura just to eat this for lunch. I call ahead and I always make it back to work on time.

Perfect amount of spice in the orange chicken. This place is my fav asian style food place! I have ordered for pick up a few times and never got disappointed.
So the reason why I decided to review this place today is because wow! The OC was super special today! It was just delicious. I don’t know if it was the fact that I worked all morning and didn’t have time to breathe or eat till about an hour ago. I just know that today was the best OC I ever had.
The girls that work here always listen to my complicated restrictions when I’m ordering. Never got it messed up. Thumbs up today!

This is not a sit down, high ambience kind of place. so if that’s your desire this isn’t for you. What you do get is counter service in a rather institutional setting. but the freshest, tastiest Chinese food in the area. This is not steam table Panda Express. It is cooked to order, fresh cut vegetables. Large proportions. excellent wonton soup, and the house special friend rice is wonderful, cream cheese wontons are amazing, prompt friendly service, clean place. parking in the large shopping area (next to Dupars) in the back. Very affordable

First of all, my husband and I LOVE Pick Up Stix. I can never get enough of the house chicken, man that stuff is good!
We live in Hollywood so we don’t come here as much as we’d like, but we try to go at least a few times a month. And perhaps it’s actually a good thing that it’s not too close because we would probably live off of Pick Up Stix — literally!
It’s always been nice and clean, and the staff have always been friendly, but in recent months they did some interior renovations, as well as hiring a new manager, Sheri. We met her tonight and she was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet and went above and beyond to cater to us. She has an awesome attitude, really seems like she loves her job, and is just an all around friendly person. She really made our short time there warm and welcoming, so much so that we will go out of our way to go there more often. And of course the rest of the staff is great too, I can’t leave them out!
So awesome food and awesome service, gets an awesome review!
