Ordered from this location because it was close to where we were taking pizza to a friends home for dinner(we normally order from hammer lane). Picked up our happy hour special pizzas, we were so disappointed… the pizza had almost no cheese on a cheese pizza and was extra crispy. Basically we couldn’t eat it, we plated a few pieces of the olive for the kids, they had a few bites. I called and let them know I wanted a refund and could bring the pizzas back, the girl on line said the supervisor was busy and someone would call me back… That was almost 3 weeks ago. I haven’t received a call or a refund. We will never go back, pizza was gross. See photo.

I’m giving them 2 stars because usually their pizza is always delish! However, this was my first visit at this location and I have to say it was disappointing. We showed up as a very large group and almost took over the entire facility. He had a very large group of hungry swimmers that just finished their first meet of the season. I arrived around 8:45 and asked the staff to clear the tables. I then had to remind them to finish cleaning the tables as the kids starting rolling in. Finally got seated but didn’t get our orders in until at least 9:30. We sat and waited for a long time just to get drinks and salads. I ordered fries too but didn’t get those until after the pizza arrived. Ugh… Took so long! We all made separate orders and all paid separate. The kids sat together cuz they are all friends but to charge everyone 20% gratuity was unacceptable! I was feeding 5 people, not 8! To charge us gratuity and provide lousy service was horrible! She worked her ass off but it wasn’t that great! I will pay a tip if I feel it is neccessary! I won’t return to this location! And… One of the pizzas that was ordered was totally burnt and unedible!

The Davids Pizza On Ben Holt is under a New Ownership Group and the Original Davids Pizza is still on Hammer lane. Hammer and Ben Holt have nothing to do with each Other. they operate as a Independent Ownership. Both are good places, you decide, but don‘t blast both if one is bad.

Horrible! If they opened in NY they wouldn’t be able to stay open for more than 24 hours. The crust is a JOKE! There is NOTHING about this pizza that is NY style TRUSTME. I had high hopes for it believe me… but there is no way that you could morph this pizza into anything NY… NEWYORK should sue them for putting, «NEWYORK», in their name.

My idea of pizza heaven. All of the flavors are on point, the sauce, cheese, I’ve had the all meat with mushrooms and even the crust is good. All of the ratios are just right, some places use too much sauce or not enough but this place has optimized its process. The ranch is good and the french fries are really good, perfectly crisp. Wish they had one of these in the bay area.

(03÷06÷16) Although I don’t order here that often as I’d like I do love their pizza. Crust — really good. No need to toss unless you’re watching carbs but then again why are you eating pizza? Sauce — good and not sweet to me like some others. Also they don’t over do it. Toppings — the cheese is nice and stretchy when pulling apart. Pepperonis are good as well. Ranch — damn good! Sorry Eddie’s. Individual Salad — good and a pretty big portion so don’t load up if you’re a small eater. They’re also one of the few places in town(there should be more) that serve it by the slice during lunch. The service is pretty good as well if you decide to dine-in.

The Davids in lincoln center sucks. all there tables are dirty. There is used napkins on the floor and they just tried to serve me a slice of cheese that looked like it had been in the turning oven for 3 days. I’m never going here again

Had the chicken basket today which came with 3 chicken strips and fries(choice of soup, salad or fries) and a soda as well. Wasn’t too fond that it was only 3 chicken but I’d say the other David’s is way better, they have different owners

Absolutely amazing, first time in, recommended by a coworker. I came in around 2pm bought a slice of cheese pizza and half order of deepfried Raviolis(10 pieces) and was on my way. Waited 10 mins, food was hot and fresh. The girl taking my order was very sweet. Oh the Raviolis came with ranch, the best part!

Pricey, but delicious. Wait time is kinda long– but the gourmet veggie is worth the wait. $ 18.99 for a small made me cringe to pay but once I started eating it I forgot about it lol. Will come back and eat here again.

Good place in town for pizza. I remember back in high school when I attended LHS, a lot of us would go to the one on hammer. It’s my memories of the how good the pizza was and still is by the slice that keeps me coming back to both locations. Jump forward a handful of years and now when I go in here to pick up my food, I see old class mates who are still working here. My photo of the pizza doesn’t do it’s justice. David’s is one of the couple places in town that still offers Pizza by the slice. The slice is big enough to fill you up, but I always have to over do it by grabbing 2. A handful of people have noticed a change in the place since the new management/ownership. I haven’t noticed too much worth commenting, but I’m happy they’ve kept the same recipe. I’ve heard the new ownership of this Benjamin Holt Location is apart of the same family that runs Payter’s Grill. They’re not new to Lincoln Center, Stockton, or the restaurant industry so I’m in high hopes for this location. If you want a good suggestion for something other than pizza, try out their beer battered fries. I haven’t ordered them in awhile because I usually come in here for a couple slices, but their french fries are solid.

Best pizza in town. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. Located in Lincoln center, there’s a nice outdoor patio to sit on weather permitting. It’s family friendly and there’s flat screen tv’s so you can catch the game.

First time visit to David’s Pizza with a take out order. I called and ordered a SMALL #1 David’s Combo and a 10 piece fried ravioli. The person taking the order, over the phone, repeated the order back to me, and told me they would have a total when I picked up the pizza. That was red flag number one. The second red flag was they didn’t ask for a phone number. Not a serious problem until I went to pick up the pizza. Upon arriving the place was very busy and humming with lots of chatter, laughter, and kids having a great time. I went to the counter and asked for the pick up order for D’Arcy. The girl says, «The large #1 and 10 fried ravioli?» I said, «No, the small #1 and fried raviolis.» She looks and says, «That is the only order for that combination. Let me see if it is already made and what to do.» Upon return she says, «you can take the large or we can make you a small and it would be 12 minutes for another one.» I said, «I’ll take the large and have to say I am not happy with this mix up, the extra cost, being my first visit to this business.» She rung up the order didn’t blink and eye and said, «sorry for the mix up would you like cheese and peppers with that?» I said, «No, and the person taking phone orders really should be familiar with the term ‘bait and switch’ for their own good!» Therefore, given the lack of response to make any kind of compensation for having to be an additional $ 11.00 out of pocket I have to say I feel this place may just do this on a regular basis. I realize this is total speculation on my part. However, given the manner of ease this cashier handled this situation. I have to feel it is a normal method of operation for this establishiment. Although I am very disappointed with this particular situation I have to say the fried ravioli tasted wondereful and the pizza was, although slightly cold, good with an abundance of toppings, with just the right amount of sauce. Unfortunately, I will being trying the second pizza recommendation for the Best Pizza in Stockton, CA for my next pizza.

We goto David’s often, however since the change of ownership the food and service has gone down. Twice in the last month or so we have gone and both times they are out of an appetizer(different one on each occassion). The appetizers that we have ordered have been tasteless and not appetizing at all. The pizza use to be amazing but now is just ok. Looks like the regular serving staff that we use to see is gone. Service is not too great or friendly as it once was. It is too bad that we now have to drive closer to downtown for good pizza and service.

Pros: It’s an awesome pizza with a well balance of cheese and sauce. What ever topping you choose, pizza is well done, delicious fries as well. Cons: gave us flat soda and they ran out of forks but after we talked to Adam the owner. They provided us with everything we needed. Adam is an awesome guy and takes care of his customers.

Love this pizza. It speaks for itself! And the chicken wings are the best. Great place to watch the game and have a nice lunch.

I was always looking forward to this place, but I would probably not go again. For the following reasons: 1. Not friendly 2. Not attentive 3. Busy chatting it up 4. The combination pizza was not great. I had higher expectations being it is in Lincoln Center.

David’s Pizza on Benjamin Holt in Stockton, California. David’s pizza has been one of our family’s top three favorite pizza joints in Stockton. Its number 2 two on our list. My children and I prefer the New York style pizza. I was never into the Chicago style or any other style. But my three kids also love deep dish pizza as well. Note: Pizza is my favorite food. Tip:Outside seating. Pro tip: has restrooms. Major league tip: They have seven tv’s to watch games. Homer tip: New Style Pizza is the best. On this particular evening, I wanted pizza and the kids wanted pizza too. So its a win win for me all day yayyy. We ordered a half Hawaiian and half pepperoni and bacon. We also ordered salad and a picture of Dr Pepper. The service here is pretty good and we never had any problems with our orders at all. The salad is a standard house salad. But it’s something about the ranch that is very good. I’ll tell you this:) the pizza here is off the hook its hella good. Something about pizza it just drives me crazy. I had two slices but my mind and stomach said no more but my body took control and grabbed more slice lol. The kids and I had a beautiful time here at David’s pizza like we always do. There’s nothing like it in the world eating with the people you love and having a wonderful time. So yeah my family and I will definitely be coming back. Doing what this daddy does best spending time with my children. My children are my life and my world everything else in life is just a bonus. Vincent D aka VD aka Vebola aka Vincent Vega.
