I’ve never bought food at Aspen, but their coffee is wonderful. I stopped in during lunch to buy some whole beans and ordered a chicken salad sandwich. This is why I rated low: no napkin, bread was toasted just enough to be stale, bread was too thick, dry parmesan did not complement sandwich, food not cut in half.

North Stillwater, lots of seating, good coffee. I don’t often go to this Aspen; I mean, there are three, and this one is the farthest from my apartment. Still, I do travel that far North somewhat often for Aldi, my church, and some of my friends who live up in that area. The coffee here is pretty standard for the latte, cappuccino, americano crowd. My wife gets sugary stuff and tends to like it too. What I like most is the seating. There’s a lot of it, and it’s varied. Comfy armchairs, padded booths, and simple wooden chairs are in the main room with some tall stools facing the windows. There’s also a nice partially covered patio with picnic tables. With all of these options, surely you will find your needs met for whatever purpose you go. One catch though — during the school year, you’re likely to open Aspen’s doors to a packed house(and not all seats have plug-in access), which may be true wherever you go.

The atmosphere is nice, & it’s fun when the place is busy to relax with your cup of coffee & watch all the people. You can always find students studying or meetings going on. The coffee is well-priced. I like the lattes here & they’re flexible about customizing drinks. They also have a nice selection of breakfast items including really yummy, healthy to-go containers of oatmeal, making Aspen a great stop for breakfast if you’re in a hurry traveling or on your way to class.

Who doesn’t like non-corporate coffee in a fun atmosphere. The 3 lovely baristas working the day I came were lovely; lots of fun chat while I waited for my inexpensive americano. The coffee is good, not quite as flavorful as some other places but it’s a solid buy for a $ 1.80. The other menu options looked like great buys as well. I recommend the homemade chocolate chip pecan cookies. There are plenty of plugs for productivity, and the seating is comfortable enough for a few hours of leisurely reading. Pick up a t-shirt if you’re a collector. It’s not as played up/out as Eskimo Joes.

Pretty good coffee, better than Starbucks, but what isn’t… Atmosphere is nice. The standard options are available on the menu, although sugar-free options are limited. Free wifi! Pretty good overall.
