One of the cornerstones of the Staten Island Mall. They have a wide variety of clothing, shoes, kitchen and garden supplies, etc. I’ve been coming here many years and I’ve never had a bad experience with the employees or the cleanliness.

Called to get my fridge repaired and in the matter of one hour, three conversations they changed the price of the service charge five times then tried to upswell the warranty and changed that price too. Then spoke to the manager and she was a complete waste of time who just continued where her reps left off! Because of this I will NEVER go back to a Sears store again !!!

Good store everything you need is there. People that work that can be really helpfully but easy to get lost in there! Lol

The worse Sears employees ever. They are rude, unhelpful and a waste to this company. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Where do I start. No one is ever on the floor to help. I needed help finding something and had a few questions. I spend 20 mins looking around SEARS to try to find what I needed. After I found what I needed there was 2 workers at the register doing nothing. ha-ha great customer service.

Like Andy, I’ve never really been a big fan of Sears except for the major appliances. My refrigerators, stoves and washer and dryer(all Kenmore) are from there and they have never really given me any problems. But last month I went there to buy a refrigerator for our tenants and was offered a rebate for standard delivery and haul away for up to $ 75. I submitted the rebate and it wasn’t approved. It turns out that the associate told me the purchase was qualified for the rebate when it wasn’t. Had I known this, I would’ve bought a cheaper refrigerator. I wanted to make a complaint so I called the Sears at Staten Island Mall SEVEN times today. SEVEN! The first 4 times I was transferred to the National Customer Service Center(there was no number they could give me) and each time got disconnected. That’s FOUR times that I was disconnected. I called again. The lady I spoke to said the National Customer Service Center was having some technical difficulties so she said she’d transfer me to the manager. Surprise, surprise I get a message telling me to try my call again. I called yet AGAIN. The lady tells me she’ll transfer me to the manager and gives me his name. Again, I get disconnected. I called again and instead of asking for customer service, asked for the store manager to the voice activated system. I ask for the manager whose name the lady I had talked to prior gave me and I’m told that this person has not been there for four years. And this person was EXTREMELY rude. How is it that the people working at the customer service department do not even know their general manager’s name?!! Also, my dad opened a credit card at Sears at Staten Island Mall. The associate never told him about any fees, there was nothing on the application about any fees or programs and he wasn’t given any written notices. But a year later Sears decides to start charging him for some fraud and job loss protection program. And suddenly a card he hasn’t used in several months has a balance. He called the card company and it turns out they charged him for three months of this program. It took him weeks to finally get this sorted out. I wonder how many other people were told their purchases qualified for rebates when it really didn’t. I don’t know what prompted this sales associate to misinform me. I know Sears isn’t doing too well but lying to customers is just wrong. Or maybe that’s exactly why they’re not doing too well. Although the appliances I have bought there haven’t given me any problems I am a firm believer in good customer service and this one experience is enough for me to not go there again. I don’t like being misled or lied to so they can make a few extra bucks. I’ve worked retail before. I don’t tell a customer that a purchase qualifies for anything unless I am 100% sure. And if anything I’ll ask the manager before giving an answer.

Eh… the usual 70s style looking Sears with clothes I will not purchase and items for sale, that I will not buy. I do like their tools section and washers and dryers/kitchen areas though.
