Sorry this review isn’t about their pretzels. Didn’t get anyway. Quickly popped in to grab coffee and make a 6am bus. Hopped in line around 5:55am. Small is $ 1.50 (cheaper than any of the other places at the terminal).
This coffee black (no cream/​milk/​sugar) is surprisingly sweet? Probably the least bitter black coffee I’ve ever had.

This place is a joke … the pretzel were a 1 to 2 days old and dry… it didn’t taste microwave but it was bad … the 2 guys were rude and wouldn’t give my money back for the old pretzel I pay for 1 min ago … then they start talking in there India or Iran language. … got I hate that … I wish I could of took him out side and beat the love of Jesus in to that son of a #&£¥@ …

Island Soft Pretzel Shop. Say that ten times fast. Here’s the breakdown people:
1 salted pretzel for $ 1
3 salted pretzels for $ 2
10 salted pretzels for $ 6
20 salted pretzels for $ 11
That’s the deal and they are sticking to it. Most of the time it’s third inning quality, but occasionally you may get that extra innings dud that’s just been sitting in the warmer since the all star break. Anyway, I’m not here to rave about the quality of the pretzel, just to sell you on the opportunity to consume 20 luke warm pretzels for eleven bucks.

Finally! An inexpensive, hot fresh snack option that is actually really really good! Being a Philly native, these things are legit! No doubt I will be hitting The Stop frequently on my travels to the Apple. Now if only I can find a legit Philly Cheesesteak place !

I’m glad to see this new addition at the ferry terminal, thus giving ferry riders more choices on what to munch on while waiting for their boats in their daily commute to the other boroughs of NYC. i’ve had a combo of their soft pretzel plus bottle of water at $ 3.00 — not bad! (on a particular rainy day at that) it’s actually a great deal. i think the owners & staff are still figuring out how to corner the captive market that is easily made up of minimum 60,000 people on a daily basis (that’s what i figured out how many the number could be who would be using the boats crossing New York City harbor; it could be more, actually) — but they’ll definitely get to be able to do so after some time… keep it up!
